Chapter 29: The Hidden Village Of Bulbasaurs In Danger [2]

"Ha, didn't think you would come at us by yourself!" The leader of the biker gang said as he gazed at the angry Venusaur with an evil glint in his eyes.

"Venasaurrrrrrrrr." The Venusaur didn't waste any time as it unleashed a bizarre sharp Razor Leaf at the biker gang leader.

"Protect!" The leader said as his Rattata came running toward him and blocked all the attacks using Protect.

"Hahahaha! Don't resist! It's useless. You're just wasting time fighting us. You will eventually be caught by me anyway!" The leader of the biker gang said as he signaled his Beedrill to charge toward the Venusaur, its wings glowing in white.

Venusaur, seeing this, tried to dodge but couldn't as his body was too large and heavy for him to evade the attack, resulting in him being heavily injured by the Wing Attack as he is also weak against Flying types.

"Veeeenaaaaasaurrrrrrrr!" Venusaur shouted as his bulb at the back of his body glowed for a second before he shot out a beam of Solar Beam toward the biker gang leader, but the biker gang leader seemed to have already predicted it as he smiled with an evil glint in his eyes, his Rattata once again using the Protect move to block it. However, this time, Rattata couldn't hold on for long before he was pushed back and thrown backwards toward a tree like a sandbag.

Seeing this, the gang leader had no change of expression on his face as he signaled his underlings' Pokémon to do the rest. Beedrill, Venonat, and Koffings started to do the rest of the work.

Koffing puffed out Smokescreen first, and then right after that, Beedrill rushed toward the blinded Venusaur who didn't see that coming as Beedrill used Wing Attack to attack the blinded Venusaur who couldn't see clearly because of the Smokescreen.

Then the Venonat that stayed behind rushed toward the still-blinded Venusaur and quickly used Sleeping Powder in that moment to make the Venusaur fall asleep and then used the same move to make all the Bulbasaurs and Ivysaurs fall asleep.

"Hahaha! I didn't raise you all for nothing!" The biker gang leader said as he laughed loudly, raising his hands before the underlings of the biker gang nodded their heads and called back their Pokémon.

Red streaks of light came from the many Pokéballs of the biker gang members as all the Pokémon went inside the Pokéballs.

"You, call the trucker! We're leaving now as soon as possible... the police could get here anytime as the sound of battle must be heard by someone and reported to the police. They will surely come to check what's going on!" The biker gang leader said as his underlings nodded their heads before the guy who told the biker gang leader the location of Bulbasaur Village took out his phone and made a call to the trucker.

(Izana's POV)

"Since the show is almost over, it's time for the main host to make its appearance and beat the bad guy," I said as I stood up from the position I was sitting in.

I was watching the whole scene happening from a nearby tree. I was behind the tree, watching them all capture the Bulbasaur Village's Pokémon.

You must be wondering why I didn't go to help them sooner, right? Well, I want a Bulbasaur, and saving a Bulbasaur when he's in his worst time will make him immensely loyal and grateful toward me. He will also be determined to be the strongest Venusaur the world has ever seen and will focus on evolving and training.

"Oh ho! A Pokémon robbery? How bold of you to do that in broad daylight!" I said, pretending to be surprised as I pointed my finger at them.

"Huh, who the heck are you? Go mind your own business, kid! Adults here are doing something really important..." The leader of the biker gang said with irritation evident in his way of speaking and tone.

"How dare you! I will not allow you to do that!" I said as I reached for my Pokéball of Charizard and then called him out of the Pokéball as red streaks of light came from the Pokéball, forming a Charizard who let out a cry of war.

"Grrrrrrrr," Charizard shouted in anger seeing what's happening, as Pokémon were his kind and anyone would be angry seeing their own race getting kidnapped in daylight and by some shady people.

"Charizard! Teach them a lesson they'll never forget! Use Flamethrower!" I said, faking anger as I pointed my finger at them.

"Go Beedrill/Venonat/Rattata/Ekans!" The biker gang shouted as they all threw out Pokéballs from their Pokébelts, red streaks of light coming from them before forming Pokémon.

As Charizard heard my word, he sucked in a deep breath before firing out a huge fire aimed at the Pokémon of the biker gang.

"Beedrill/Venonat/Rattata/Ekans, dodge it and gang up on it!" They all said as their Pokémon started to go different ways.

Almost all the other Pokémon dodged the Flamethrower except the Rattata as he was already pretty injured from the Solar Beam of the Venusaur.

"Mega Kick on that Ekans and then Flamethrower at the Venonat!" I commanded Charizard as he rushed toward the Ekans, his right leg glowing in white.

The biker gang's Pokémon all tried to gang up on Charizard, but Charizard just slapped them away pretty hard and then kicked the Ekans that was coming Charizard's way from the ground, dragging its long body quickly.

The Mega Kick of Charizard hit it deeply as Ekans was thrown back toward the gang members, but they all made way for Ekans to land on the ground as it fainted.

Then Charizard sucked in a deep breath and rushed at the Venonat and Beedrill that were kind of together with the intention to gang up on Charizard but halted, seeing Ekans getting thrown like a sandbag, and that was all it took for Charizard to blast them off toward the gang members as they all were hit by their thrown Pokémon.

"911! What's your emergency?" An enchanting and beautiful voice sounded as I made a call to 911, the number of Officer Jenny in the Pokémon world.

"I've caught a handful of people trying to capture Pokémon and sell them in the dark market," I said as my Charizard did the work of scaring the gang members overwhelmingly, leaving them standing in one place.

After calling Officer Jenny, she and some manpower arrived and then arrested them.

In the meantime, the trucker also arrived and was arrested by Officer Jenny, while the Pokémon that they were trying to catch were sent off to the nearby Pokémon Centre except for a Bulbasaur who kept looking at me.

"Bulba... bulbasaurr!" It said as it came forward slowly with its expectant and determined eyes.

"What? Do you want to join my team?" I said, pretending to be surprised.

"Bulba bula bulbasaur!" It said, nodding its head

.

"I only accept those who train hard and have the determination to be better every day," I said, seeing its look of determination that says it can do it.

"Can you do it?" I asked as I saw it nodding its head up and down while saying something in the Pokémon language.

"Bulbaa bulbsaur!!" It said with a smile, nodding its head up and down.

"Okay then, welcome to the team, Bulbasaur!" I said as I bent down and took out a Pokéball before lightly touching its forehead with it, sending it inside the Pokéball as it wiggled a little before a ping sound came, indicating success. After that, I was called in by Officer Jenny for some investigation before I was released and then made my way toward Vermilion City, just a few hours away from here.
