Reincarnated into a world of clichés

Guy died, reincarnated into an isekai world full of clichés from a novel. Like a certain red haired noble, he also dreams of living life as a slacker, and maybe get rich along the way. "This author must be really lazy to write such a short summary" said a voice "Cut him some slack, he created us" said another voice "You're saying that because you're the protagonist and he bribed you with money" "I don't turn down a $5 bill" "Cheapskate" "Shush" |Vote with all your power stones and give me good reviews or else I will eat all your cookies.| Author's note : As carefree and free spirit as the protagonist is, I don't plan on making him a hero, but a selfish person who does things only for his own gain. The novel will also end with a harem since the protagonist is a greedy bastard and want a semi cliché ending. P.S. Chapter 260: The start

3rd person view

"Hmm, let's see what's it like ruining this timeline a bit" the unknown god chuckled "What would happen if I use one of the siblings soul and replace the soul of a reincarnate all those years ago...? How fun"

Kelly then found herself in a library with a handsome guy standing in front of her.

"Wow, if god really look this attractive, then I would've died a long time ago" Kelly whistled

"I don't think you were the soul I choose, but it's not like I care" the god sighs "I'm really new at this, I'm only 50 years old and I won the draw earlier, I'll introduce myself later, for now, it's time for your reincarnation"

1st person view

"...they will be deemed not guilty as they were all only doing it under duress since their family's lives were at stake" the jury said

Karen's squad despite under heavy investigation and with evidence held against them, most of us thought justice would be served, but...they were found innocent after some worshippers of high status somehow got caught in the past few days admitting that they were guilty of threatening their family lives.

The fault was then pinpointed on the dead Karen as the perpetrator, and since the fault fall on her and she is now dead...they were let off.

Everything was too convenient, the survivors including me aren't happy.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" one person on my side shouted "This is corruption!"

"Fuck you all, might as well let those gorgers eat all of us then, because this is bullshit! A lot of people got killed and they're innocent?!"

"Order in the court" the judge demanded "Be careful of what you say, Mr. Leven"

"Oh, 'be careful'," I mocked "Me and everyone here witnessed the death of their own comrades, my own dying sister said that those fuckers over there killed her. I hope for the end of humanity at this fucking point, because if this world is filled with people like them getting away with crimes like this, then this world is beyond saving, I hope that one day, you'll all face a painful death and I get to witness it"

"Grace Leven, last warning" the judge warned

"No, he's right" One guy supported me "We all got tons and tons of evidence that they're doing this and yet somehow after the trial was set, some higher ups got conveniently caught, hundreds of people died for this fucking mission, and they didn't even die to those horrible gorgers"

"Yeah, I fucking witnessed one of those guys killed my own comrade, and that fucking guy over there took my arm" another one joined in "Justice needs to be served, I'd be happy even with a life sentence!"

"That's why they will be heavily monitored for the next few years" the judge countered "I understand all your grief, bu-"

"Screw you and your understanding, what they did is treason, but talking it out with you probably isn't going to work since you're probably one of those worshippers anyway!" I interrupted "We were fucking tortured and interrogated because you guys thought we killed our own siblings, and these guys get fucking nothing! One day, I will give you what you fucking deserve!"

Some of the guys then turned to the cameras

"This whole shit is a set up, remember this moment when the world ends, these guys were the ones that caused it" one shouted

"Escort them out" the judge ordered

< One day, I'll kill all of you, but I can't go against the whole... > I thought "Release me! I can walk out by myself"

After that day, us survivors got discharged with a large sum of money as an apology, but most of us didn't even keep it as it is only a constant reminder of what happened, I donated the money away and only kept a small amount to get an apartment and move my stuff.

I live far away from zones that have fighting and in a place where ability-holders are barely born, so my life would be very ordinary like what happened before all these monsters arrived. Most of the people here live so carefree not knowing about what happens in the front lines.

I spend my days inside only because books and video games were the only thing that helped me escape reality. Sometimes, when I go out of the house, I can see some people keeping a watchful eye on me, I know that they won't kill me since my death would direct the blame at Karen's squad.

But they got me a job that suited my intelligence level and my boss help me work up my way from there by teaching me things. It didn't distract me a bit, my head was still filled with the thoughts of revenge and hope that by working an ordinary job, it would throw them off my scent.

And when they let their guard down, I'll use that moment to strike. And so my days became...boring. In a way, I started to loathe humanity a bit, I don't think I even try to get closer with anyone again after that and no one tried to approach me either, I was cold towards them, I don't know who I can trust, anyone could just be one of the worshippers trying to get close to me.

And blah blah blah, lightning strike boom, my death.

< Well, can't believe I died already. Well I might as well keep my promise to those guys and start narrating my life like an idiot in case I actually get reincarnated into a world of clichés >

I had a good day today, I woke up early, ate my breakfast, shower and then I put on my uniform and headed for work. In the train, I was mostly on my phone just reading all the new chapters of several web novels that are updated today. I arrived at work and did all my work and got to go home early.

Now here's where it gets 'interesting', I got struck by lightning on the way home.

Can't believe it? Me too.

I don't know if it is obvious, but it hurts...like a lot. I'm now floating in some sort of place where everything is pitch black. And as you can judge by the title of this story, I died before I received any hel-

"Oi, you're breaking the fourth wall" said a feminine voice in the darkness

"Hey don't interrupt me in the middle of my inner-monologue"

"Fine! Continue your ridiculous monologue" the voice pouted "At least..."

< Well might as well be a bit more carefree now, I'm sorry for disappointing you all, but hopefully I'll make it up to you >
