-Oh look, the apartment where you used to live is now open for rent- Ace said

-Yeah, we should rent it and be a shut in like him- Siege joked

So I'm laying in my bed in the bedroom and relaxing as I am discussing things with my bond

-Say, can you guys leave the country?-

-If you hope for us to find things out about your mother, we already thought about it, there's an invisible barrier preventing us from leaving this country- Siege replied

-Yeah, we're trying to do our best online, but even from your memories alone, doing these kind of things aren't your specialty- Diana added

-Hire an illegal hacker then, this world is an illusion anyway, I really don't care if you give them my information-

-Well we tried several of them, nothing stands out- Damon responded -Even from bloodwork and DNA, we can't seem to find any of your relatives or anyone for that matter that match your DNA-

And then something strange happened as a bright flashing yellow light appeared in my room. Elektra appeared from it with lightning crackling crackling around her body.

"Shit! Elektra"

"You recognize me?" she asked

"What was that sound?!" Kenny shouted from the next room "Sounded like lightning crackling"

"Um, my laptop exploded after I gamed all night, it overheated!"

"Oh shit, do you need a replacement?"

"No no, it's fine, just a few sparks. I'll just go back to sleep and ask someone to check on it later"

I then checked if the door's locked and used 'hush'.

"Next time you come, give me a heads up and try not to be too loud"

"I knew something was off when I saw you used our eyes" Elektra exclaimed "Not only you recognize me but you can use magic"

"Auntie, I can explain"

"Wait what?"

"Oh this will take all day"

"You're right, young man, first 2 beauties out of nowhere appeared in your house claiming to be your girlfriend and I saw you flirting with that librarian, and apart from all the flirting you done, and you know about my disguise, explain it quick and short or else I will slap you into oblivion" Elektra threatened

"Auntie, it is you!"

"Explain or slap of death, be quick" she replied and use magic to hold me in place

"This world you're living in is a test that I took to become a celestial" I replied "And those guys are my bonds and girlfriends that are taking the test with me"

"Right, I keep forgetting that you in the future probably can travel through both time and worlds" she facepalmed

"I'm telling the truth here in order to not get slapped by a goddess here, be reasonable...you know, I'm kinda hoping for more of an emotional reunion"

"Let's say that I believe you, why shouldn't I slap you anyway?"

"Because you love me so much that you can't bring yourself to?"

"Do you think that this is funny young man?" she asked as he eyes started glowing

"Not really, but this novel does have a comedy tag so it's kinda in my job description as the protagonist to provide occasional jokes here and there. Besides I'm mentally in my 30s, so I'm technically not young by human standards, auntie"

I had to hold an ice pack against my cheek which should normally be healing due to my bond with Diana, but not in this body. Elektra also forbid me from using magic to heal it till next morning.

Elektra also made me tell her everything after her slap of not-death.

"I see, so I am nothing but a fake" Elektra said as she look at her hands

"Don't say that about yourself, auntie. Treasure yourself more"

"Didn't you mope around after they die? You only got happy again once you realized that you died and started narrating your life like an idiot"

"Yeah, but now I got a second chance, so I'm not wasting it"

She then yank me by my ear.

"2 girlfriends? Have I raised you to be a playboy?" she asked with an ominous tone

"No...please let go. Besides they were the one who decided it, I just went along with it...they're also hot"

"You know, I watched over you quite a lot" she said as she twist my ears even harder "You and your 3 siblings should lay off on conversations regarding inappropriate topics"

"Yeah, I can't promise you that"

She then released it and healed my face.

"Can you tell me about my mom?"

"No" she shook her head "That's for you to find out on your own, her bloodline is also special"

"I know, she's a descendant of Hecate, the goddess of magic. Which makes my blood really messed up since Hypnos is my father, and according to some stories, Hecate is also a child of night, so if that version is right, it makes her my aunt"

"How's you figure it out?" she asked

"Future me gave me the answer"

"Well try not to think about that, I can't say for sure which version of stories is true, but just think of her and your father nor related, it'll make it so that it's easier to accept. But she's the goddess of crossroads, and when you're there, you have different options to take " Elektra replied "And the same thing goes for you, you can accept that version of a story that you prefer, either way, you are fated to be the strongest mortal"

"I think I said too much" she said as she clasped her mouth

"That's the answer! Thank you! That god said to find the similarities between my 4 children, despite having them with 4 different women, none of them are stronger than me despite being older than me despite being geniuses in their field"

"Kinda obvious, unlike you, they're not reincarnates" Elektra pointed out

"Yeah, but still...it means that if the fate or whatever are right...if I don't stop Eros' side now, we'll all die since no one will be able to grow strong enough to stop them"

"Yep, mortals underestimate their potential." Elektra nodded "You can accomplish so much within such short lifespans unlike the gods. So that's why some gods fear mortals and the speed that they're advancing. Besides mortals are the only ones wo are stupid enough to rebel against a god"

"Most people would use the word courageous to encourage others instead of stupid, but I do agree with you calling me stupid, because I'll go against the god themselves for my goal of slacking off, if my alternate selves can do it, as a protagonist I can too"
