"Countess Doris Viola at your service" the noble introduced herself as she took Ben's place

"Perseus calm down, you're not making yourself look good right now" the headmaster advised

"Don't worry, I'm calm, Countess Violin or whatever, do it quick"

"I will ignore your rude remark" She replied "Recently you were at a vampire kingdom named the Crimson kingdom, accompanied by terrorists from the organization named the seekers of salvation, is this correct?"

"Yeah"

"Are you on friendly terms with them?"

"I wouldn't say friendly, but I at least know that they won't kill me outright"

"Why did you willingly went along?"

"Willingly? Did you not do your research? Even the king was there when Urie said that he would forcefully get me there if I resist"

"But you could have at least resisted for a bit but you didn't"

"Oh yes, resist against the guy who is much stronger than Aenon over there who's a white cored dragon, I honestly would love to see you try to do the same thing in my place, you're clearly very stupid for a noble, even by my standard"

"Perseus, please calm down or else I will have my guards forcefully restrain you" the king warned

"Since you clearly don't like me, I will ask jut a few more questions" Countess Viola cleared her throat "After you returned from the Crimson kingdom, you reported that they were not a threat, but if they were to invade Artia, we wouldn't stand a chance, correct?"

"Yeah, I did do that, they got 4 princes and princesses plus 1 king, and each of their personal army is already strong enough to rival a country, and plus vampires would attack during the night due to their weakness to sunlight when humans are least active, if they were to invade, you can already imagine the consequences"

"And you yourself are a vampire, am I correct?"

"No, I'm a dhampir, a half vampire and half human"

"I would want to ask you where your loyalty lies, if the Crimson kingdom and Artia would have war, who would you side with?"

"None"

The people on the benches then gasped at my answer.

"The answer should be obvious" a guy said

"Yeah, he clearly is their spy" a women agreed

"Why is that your answer?" The countess asked

"I'm not a citizen of Artia, nor of the crimson kingdom, so why would I join a war to put my life at risk?"

"Despite everything we done for you?" she further questioned

"Permission to speak my mind"

"Permission granted" the king replied after a short moment of hesitation

"Everything you guys done for me?" I laughed "Now that's really funny, considering I would be killed right after my graduation"

"What makes you say that?" she asked

"When I was assigned to assassinate the people on James' side, I happen to run across a file, he was one of the higher ups from the military, and this kingdom has already planned to get rid of me if I were deemed to not be loyal to this kingdom after I graduate, a notion that was also supported and approved by the king himself... Are you surprised that I found out, your majesty?"

"From the looks of it, you seem surprised too, headmaster" Damon commented

"Yes, I heard about the notion, but I didn't hear about it being approved already" The headmaster replied as he was shocked at the revelation

"That's a serious accusation you're making over there, you criminal, especially against his majesty" A noble from the prosecutor side shouted before being joined in by the others

"Do you want to see the paper? Cuz I got it" I then took out my cuffs which surprised everyone, I opened my spatial storage and took it out as I warp it to the headmaster

"This...this is real!" The headmaster said as he read it "This is an official document in order to terminate Perseus, it even got the royal stamp and everything"

"And when Leona took me, this kingdom barely did anything to search for me, the only ones who did were hired by the headmaster or volunteered,, whom of which were mostly my professors. Some of you even wish I died instead of coming back alive, scared of my growing potential"

"We had no other choice but to turn you in" she argued

"No other choice? Your other choice was to strengthen security in the first place, but you saw me as dispensable"

I chuckled as the crowd got rowdier.

"You can see on that document, it even got a fake will written in my hand writing, to give my prized equipments, specifically my sword, Dream Eater, to Albert who's potential is only second to mine, is easier to manipulate and able to wield it after my death. Even many other plans that involves me."

"So after everything you did for me? That's funny Countess Viola" I got up as she then backed away "A few nights ago, I secretly left my cell and sneaked around the castle and tumble across another document. Let's just say it was interesting, to say the least, I would be found guilty of all charges and sentenced to 30 years as a loyal slave regardless of what my pleads are or how many contributions I did, and the king over there would rid of my sentence due to his 'mercy' a few days after my sentence"

"And then I would be indebted to him and this kingdom, I'm also selected aa candidate as a future spouse of Eleanor, that's why this whole thing is set up in the first place, , he plans to have Eleanor comfort me and have her get close to me after my would be sentence, when I would be emotionally vulnerable and easier to manipulate, and I'm saying it right now, I am no puppet"

The king was the most shocked out of everyone in the room.

"I've already seen your spies disguising as students to observe me at school, spies that even your own uncle doesn't know exist, you know it's really funny, especially after I saved you and your own children from a god who wanted to kill you, but instead...you wanted to kill me, hahaha, my tour around the castle was really interesting you know"

"You knew about the corruption happening in your own kingdom, but you decided to not do anything about it, because you don't want to lose those powerful nobles no matter how despicable they are, and here I am, in a court where people deemed me as a selfish monster, unlike some of the nobles here, where do you think my money go despite me not spending it on luxurious items? Every month, me and my bond would anonymously donate our money to those who need it the most, especially orphanages"

"We even got rid of people's debts too" Damon added

I stared hard at the king.

"And yet here I am, so tell me you stupid king, give me reasons why I shouldn't kill you right now and actually join the terrorists you guys hate so much?"
