It has been a few hours since I've left the territory of the rabbits. Right now, I'm on my way to the west forest.
But still, I need to be efficient you know?
To grind or not to grind, that is the question.
I'm getting used to my horn being bloody all the time. I mean right now I mainly use it as my go-to finishing move.
The usual one-two combo, I mean bounce-stab, just bouncing around then stabbing them in the guts.
I swung my horn to the ground, and blood scattered on the grass. It seems that those katana cleaning techniques that I saw in samurai animes don't really work. What was it called again? Chiboko? Chiwako? Marco? Tebori?
Well, I forgot the name, but in conclusion, it doesn't really work. Even if it does reduce the amount of blood in my horn, there are still some that are left.
It would be better if I clean my horn by rubbing it on the grass. And well, why don't samurais just use a cloth to clean their katanas? Do they really need to act cool, well I guess that move is really cool I admit it.
I've been trying to do the usual Horned Rabbit signature move, the charge toward them like an idiot then stab. I mean it works; I'm surprised that it does because normally you will dodge that, but the groundhogs also meet you for a clash.
It seems that the territory of the groundhogs and rabbits are right next to each other, resulting in a frequent melee between the two.
Oh look, there's one right now in front of me eating some berries from the shrub. Distance seems to be meters away from me, but near enough to swiftly strike.

[HP 21/21]
I used [Kick] on the ground and rushed toward the groundhog. Unaware of my attack, the groundhog continued eating.
I used [Kick] three times on the ground to bridge the gap and during the last kick, I used [Headbutt] and pointed my sharp horn at the groundhog's back.
Sensing something behind, the groundhog looked back and saw a horned rabbit flying through the air with the horn pointed at him, the gap only a meter.
The groundhog hurriedly tried to dodge the oncoming horn but it was too late.
Stab
My horn pierced the side of the groundhog's belly.

He screamed in pain and fell to the ground, but I used [Kick] on his jaw.
[Groundhog]
[HP 6/21]
I felt his jaws break from my sudden kick but at least he was not screaming anymore. I don't want more of these dudes to come here.
I mean, I already tried my best to remain at the edge of their territory so my journey would be smooth.
I just spent the time killing some groundhogs that strayed too far from their group.
In a desperate attempt to survive, the groundhog swiped his claws at me, but I hopped back to evade it.
Now to finish you off.
I used [Kick] on the ground to propel myself forward then used [Headbutt] and aimed it at his throat.
My horn connected with his neck and died with a sorrowful face.

[A title obtained from killing monsters of the rodent classification. Gives additional hidden damage to monsters of the rodent species but attracts animosity from monsters of the rodent species that are stronger than you.]
Well, this seems useful. It makes it easier for me to kill them but still, it brings me more enemies by attracting their aggression.
Not like I won't fight back but I still haven't even seen any of the evolved forms of the groundhogs aside from the Greater Groundhog.
I wonder what they looked like.
Maybe someday I will be chased around by some electric mouse but who knows?
Boing
Boing
Boing
Hearing the boing boings, I looked to my left and saw 4 slimes hopping in my direction.
Seeing the slimes, I just let them be. They're not really an aggressive bunch.
They are more like those chill dudes just eating and lazing around. They are so chill to the point that they don't mind me dragging them into my burrow and letting me make them my pillow.
Their bodies are so soft and elastic that I was able to sleep peacefully.
When they were already a few meters near me, I saw them suddenly stop.
Hey, what's wrong Mr. Slime?
Then they hopped fast toward me, and I thought that this is finally my popular phase!
Come here, I won't reject anyone of you, I know that I have the fluffiest fur among the rabbits, but you don't have to praise me.
But they never came, and I saw them covering the groundhog's body and dissolving it.
Wait? Dissolving it?
So, they have acidic bodies?! So, when I slept with them, I really almost died in my sleep?!
Well, that would just suck but it seems they like me enough to not consume me.

[Slime]
[A common Slime that lives in the forest of the Forgotten Sanctum. Slimes have acidic body fluids which help them consume their food.]
It seems that these guys are the scavengers of the forest. So that's why I barely see some corpse around here.
Either get eaten by a predator or be consumed by scavengers like these little guys, not like I am any bigger than them. We are just the same height.
If I am going to die, I prefer getting absorbed by them rather than being mauled by a huge wolf. At least these guys are cute. If I am ever getting eaten, I prefer it to be by someone cute.
The blue slimes suddenly turned red after absorbing the corpse of the groundhog.
It seems that they even absorb the color. Now they look quite scary, A blob of moving blood, just bouncing toward you.
I say that will really give me goosebumps if I ever saw anything like that in the night.
Well, Mr. Slimes I better get on my way, I want to find a good place to build a burrow for the night and continue my journey.
I won't be safe here in the groundhog's territory especially now that I got that title. It will be just asking to be killed in my sleep by a bunch of rats.
I continued hopping on my journey and after finding a pond, I dug a burrow beneath a tree near it. Then took a bath to clean my bloody and sticky fur.
The blood that splatters on my fur is really irritating especially if I am not able to remove it fast, but well, water is not readily available everywhere here.
I have to find some water source first, and well, finding a water source while you are bloody inside a forest is dangerous if you don't know why that is dangerous then I don't think I can save you.
It seems that this place is quite safe, only populated by those venomous ducks, but they are quite peaceful if you're not a frog that is.
Come to think of it, ever since I got that pierce passive ability, I've been able to penetrate their flesh easier compared to before.
The resistance of the body was slightly reduced, and I was able to cut through or pierce them like butter.
I just ate some grass for a bit then hopped toward my burrow to call it a day. I still need to hop a few more kilometers to get back to my old home.
Unlike the first time that I came to the rabbit village, I wasn't evading fights because now I have the confidence to be able to run if the time comes.
This brings me more fatigue but well, you need to sacrifice some things in order to get what you want.
I finally called it a day and hopped to Dreamland.
After waking up, I had my breakfast and a nice bath, I still have the desire to be clean every day even if I am now a rabbit you know?
Let's see how I've progressed after some time.

It does really seem like I've improved a lot, but I still have to become stronger and be the biggest rabbit in town--- no, the city!
My bite still hasn't leveled up but the blood that goes into my mouth when I chop them brings me a disgusting feeling. I think that's why I avoided using it for some time.
But if ever the need to use it arises then I have no problem using it.
While I was on my way back to my old home I saw something, someone, and that someone is an old rival of mine.
The Furrets! Oh my bad, the Ferrets!
