CHAPTER 5: SPIRITUAL FOREST

" Ken??? " Ruby and Drake was stunned when they heard his familiar voice.

" The one and only..!! " Ken reply with a smile..

" Hahaha.... Shocking right?? Who would have thought that Ken have a good looking face... " while Ken and his two friends chatting, Grandpa Gray came back along with the food..

" Ok, enough chat let's eat..!! " Grandpa Gray said.

Ken start eating and look around him, Ruby is eating her food gracefully and Ruby felt his gaze she look towards him and nodded then continue eating her food...

" Hey old man, why there's no meat??? " Drake said.

" Sometimes you need to eat fish and vegetables kid...." Grandpa Gray reply.

" Stop calling me kid I'm 15 years old now..!!!" Drake.

" Still a kid.. KID. " Grandpa Gray reply calmly.

" Why you..!!! Just you wait old man, someday I will burn that entire beard of yours..!!! " Drake

angrily said then continue eating his food..

Ken love to this watch this two arguing with each other they look funny.

" Grandpa Gray do you know a place where many spirit beast ?? " Ken suddenly asked and the old man and Drake stop arguing...

" why do you ask ??? " Grandpa Gray.

" Nothing, I'm just curious where they live...!! " Ken said.

" Spiritual forest. That's the place where many spirit beast reside also known as forest of doom, people call it forest of doom because many powerful spirit master's once want to explore it, but no one came back from the group..." Grandpa Gray said with serious expression

" Spiritual forest is divided in three area which is outer area, where beginner spirit master's train, inner area rumor said those who enter that area saw King level spirit beast there while core area is still unknown because the spirit master's that explore the area never came back.... Grandpa Gray said and look to Drake, Ruby and Ken.

" I think the three of you know how to determine the spiritual power, right??? " Grandpa Gray asked them.

Three of them nodded, then Ruby said " The power of a spirit beast determine base on how old they are..."

Grandpa Gray nodded and said " that's is correct, and a spirit beast king meant his 1,000 years old same as when spirit master reached king stage they need 1,000 Spiritual Ki...!!! " ( I change the spirit power SP into Spiritual Ki SK )

' I see, that's place dangerous for the current me.. I need to become stronger first before going there.!!! " Ken thought

Ken stay for the night for one reason he want to learn more about this world while Ken is listening to Grandpa Gray, Drake already go home....

Ken learn many things about this world Grandpa Gray already tired from explaining so he gives Ken books all about this world....

In the backyard, Ken started reading all the books because he going to start his journey and leave early in the morning without waking Grandpa Gray and Ruby up....

When suddenly Ken hear foot steps from behind he turned his head and saw Ruby " Good evening Ruby..."

Ruby said nothing and sit beside him this action confused him so Ken asked " Is there something bothering you Ruby??? "

Ruby look to and ask him " Are you leaving Phil village??? "

Ken is stunned to her question and don't know how to respond... " hahaha... What do you mean by th "

Before Ken finish his about to say, Ruby interrupt him by saying " When you didn't visit us for a month me, Drake and Grandpa go to your house when we arrive to your house we saw you practicing your techniques and when you ask Grandpa about where spirit beast reside we know that you want to go there!!!! "

Ken stay silent and did not say anything and Ruby continue " You heard Grandpa said that place is dangerous, you'll get yourself killed if you go there!!! "

Ken look at her beautiful red eyes smile and said " Don't worry I won't go there for the time being, and I'm not stupid I know how dangerous it is...!!! "

Ruby lowered her head and said " But you still want to go... "

Ken said nothing and look at the Moon ' The Moon is the only one that not change it's still the same..' Ken sigh and look at Ruby and saw she was also looking at him they stare at each other and their face starting to get closer and finally their lips meet....

After a few second they separate and stared at each other and Ruby hug him as she leys her head on his shoulder...
