I can't feel It!!

Dan held his sword tighter, looking at his opponent. He straightened his back as he held the sword to his side pointing straight towards Link.

"Boar's Dash!" Dan muttered as his sword shone in a dim light.

Wosh!

In an instant. Dan was in front of Link. He moved his sword forward, stabbing towards his opponents chest.

Clang!

In one instance. Link's dagger and hands were too far away to block, but then the next they hit Dan's sword away. It looked like they teleported.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Dan did not let such a thing affect him as he kept swinging. Aiming at every vital point he could see. But like it was nothing, Link's facial expression did not change as his hands moved at immense speed and blocked or deflected all the attacks coming towards him.

A smile appeared on Link's face, unleashing a barrage of attacks himself. Dan managed to move out of the way or block the attacks, but something kept bothering him.

With every move Link made, it seemed like one of his daggers was shining, emitting a terrifying power. With every second passing felt like Dan's chance at victory was slipping away.

"Whatever he's doing, I can't let him keep on doing it" Dan thought to himself as he now could feel his heart being mushed with the intense pressure. The dagger now looked like the scythe of the grim reaper.

Dan moved a step back, Making Link move towards him to continue with his combo.

"There it is" Dan muttered, finally finding an opening. He moved like a bear as he punched Link's dagger away and went in for the kill.

<Are you gonna stop toying with him or what?>

Link smiled again. He had been using the Viper Sutra, testing its might against someone like Dan. He always practiced it by himself and wished to give it a try.

"Alright!" Link muttered. "This Martial art is good, but it's still lacking in some aspects"

Link saw Dan's sword coming straight towards him and activated 'Godly Body'.

When Dan's sword landed, he felt like he hit some sort of impenetrable wall. Link just stood there looking at him.

"Let's stop here" He spoke "I don't wish to kill you"

Dan was stunned. "Was he holding back?" He thought as he jumped back and held his now numb hand.

"What do you mean?" Dan asked, looking confused.

"I wanted to use my newly improved martial art against someone, but I guess it is still lacking" He continued "I didn't lie and what I said was the truth. I don't understand why she would slander me like that. I was going to just leave but now I want her head" Link said pointing towards Sylvie.

Dan turned to look at the now terrified and angry woman. She stared daggers towards Link and yelled "He is lying my lord, please do not believe him"

Dan was about to speak when his heart jumped. His feet turned weak as he took several steps back.

"You're really something, aren't you" Link spoke. His Mana now has a hint of black in it. "I played along, but now you people are underestimating me.. That mage over there was the one boosting you, I sensed his Mana the moment you teleported towards me at the start, and I ignored him, using this opportunity to train, but don't go too far

I'm taking that woman's life before I leave or I swear none of you will live"

Link's words sent shivers down everyone's spine. His whole aura changed from a few seconds ago. He became serious now, looking at them with annoyance.

After some time, seeing that neither Dan nor the magician spoke, Sylvie's face started changing as tears fell down her cheek. "YOU KILLED MY FIANCE, DID YOU THINK I'LL LET YOU GO??" She screamed.

"I killed him, but it was you who caused it all to happen" Link said "I did not wish to hurt anyone and kept explaining, but you gave no way for negotiation. Then you pull this shit?" Link said as he started stepping towards her "I'll help you reunite with him"

His charged dagger was the only weapon in his hand as he prepared to swing it.

"Sir, please stop" Suddenly, a tall fat man ran towards the group. He wore fancy clothing with no weapon. Behind him were 4 guards. Link could sense that the weakest one of them was a low Level 3, while the strongest was so close to Leveling up.

"Sir, please spare my daughter" he stood between Link and Sylvie "She acted on her emotions. I'll do anything, so please spare her"

Link looked at the man's clothing and sighed. "She is the daughter of the City lord" he thought.

"Why should i?" Link spoke, looking at him.

The city lord hesitated for a bit. Link was expecting him to have his guards attack him but none of that happened as the man bowed down, speaking "Please sir"

Link sighed, looking towards the man with annoyance. "Y'all are making me look like the bad guy somehow" He said, walking up to the man "How about some compensation?"

Link wasn't greedy but he just wanted to get something out of this whole thing. His time was wasted and insulted for nothing. Plus, who wouldn't try to get all he could out of a situation like this, especially when he was dealing with the city lord.

"I got some reports stating that you got teleported back to Rockhill Village by accident and was trying to make your way back home. You bought some maps to assist you but those only cover this region, while the rest belong to our city's military" The city lord spoke "I can provide you with all the maps we have to make your trip easier, sir"

One thing led to another and Link received the maps. He no longer cared about the situation anymore and turned towards the lord with a smile.

"Do you need anything else, sir" The city lord spoke.

"Whatever" Link said "this wasted enough of my time"

"Thank you" the city lord bowed "thank you so much"

Link didn't look at them again and just turned around, teleporting away.

<You let that go too fast. Were you even going to kill her?>

"I was" Link said as he was running. "she lied and framed me just so she can get her revenge. If I wasn't strong enough I bet those fuckers would have killed me without caring"

<Still… you should have done something>

"Who said I didn't?" Link said with a sinister smile.

*Slap*

A loud smack was heard from outside the city lord's office. Inside, Sylvie held her red cheek with watery eyes. Looking at her father.

"My orders were that you keep an eye out for hostile enemies, not provoke people" he yelled as another slap was sent her way. "Your reckless and irresponsible behavior nearly got us all killed"

"Dad!" Sylvie finally spoke weakly, her eyes confused.

"WHAT?" her father asked with clear anger in his voice.

"I can't feel it!!" She said with a frown.

"Feel what??" The man calmed down a little after seeing his daughter's facial expression.

"My Mana… I can't feel it!!"
