Krillin's Determination, Chichi's Worries

Bulma's face changed slightly as the conversation shifted towards Krillin's transformation into an Android.

In fact, she had initially tried to stop Krillin as she was wholly opposed this approach.

But Krillin was very stubborn and determined. In this end, she had no choice but to agree and turn Krillin into an Android.

Now, he stood before them, seemingly indifferent to the transformation.

Krillin grinned and addressed Goten. "You're right, Goten. I've transformed myself into an Android."

"You also know that the upper limit of us Humans is very low, it is impossible to become as strong as you Saiyans…" His words carried a mix of acceptance and pragmatism. He acknowledged the limitations of Humans compared to Saiyans – their innate power ceiling was far lower.

"Before, in order to deal with Cell," Krillin continued, "I had to find a way to become stronger."

"Actually, it doesn't matter anymore, because my thoughts and consciousness haven't changed in any way, it's just that my body has become stronger." His optimism masked the pain he had endured during the transformation. It was a sacrifice he had made for the greater good.

Goten remained silent, unsure of what to say. In this crisis-ridden world, strength did matter. If he had faced the same situation as Krillin, perhaps he would have made the same choice: transform into an Android or wait to die.

And he would choose the transformation over dying helplessly.

The topic just now made the atmosphere a bit solemn, "Okay, let's not dwell on it," Krillin changed the subject. "Cell has been dealt with." The atmosphere lightened, and he pressed on. "Goten, what's next for you?"

Goten's response was calm and resolute. "Train, continue to train." As a transmigrator, he understood the ever-present dangers lurking in their world. Even though Cell was defeated, stronger opponents loomed on the horizon.

If he wanted to control his own destiny, he must be strong – arrogantly so. This point had been very clear since he travelled to this world!

"But wasn't Cell already easily killed by you?" Krillin's puzzled question came. He continued, "Now that you are so strong, you can truly relax, and also your age is just the right time for school."

Krillin's concern was valid. After all, for a kid who was only nine years old (plus hyperbolic time chamber), Goten was obviously under too much pressure.

He should be at the right age to enjoy the carefree life of his childhood. And now that the crisis on the earth had been lifted, there was no need to train so desperately!

'Or is it that Goten, like the rest of the Saiyans, loves to fight.' Krillin muttered to himself. 'Right! He is Goku's son after all.'

"Cell has indeed been eliminated," Goten acknowledged. "But there are still many strong people in this world." Cell was a mere ant compared to the true powerhouses lurking out there.

"Cell is like an ant in front of those real powerhouses!" Goten emphasized.

"Of course, so am I…" His calm tone belied the urgency – the needed to be ready for whatever challenges lay ahead. "The current training is just to prevent the same mistakes from being repeated in the future."

Perhaps the Krillin and the others couldn't fathom the existence of beings like Gods of Destruction. But Goten knew – it wasn't a matter of 'if' they would show up, it was of 'when' they would show up.

Hearing Goten's words, Krillin fell into deep thought. He had indeed faced countless desperate situations – one powerful enemy after another. The uncertainty of what outrageous foes might emerge in the future weighed heavily on his mind.

'So training really can't be done halfway.' Krillin concluded. The staked were too high to relax.

"Okay, I'll head back first!" Goten announced. "I supposed Mom is a little worried about me…" with that, he vanished from Capsule Corp in an instant.

Krillin's expression grew serious. After three full minutes of stunned silence, he turned to Bulma with determination. "Bulma, please continue to transform me!"

His current strength felt inadequate. He refused to be as helpless as he had been today. The feeling of helplessness gnawed at him – an uncomfortable truth.

"My current strength is still too weak. If there are stronger enemies in the future, I don't want to be as helpless as I was today."

"This..." Bulma frowned, struggling with the decision. After a moment's struggle, she nodded. This Earth truly needed the protection of Goten and Krillin.

"Okay! I promise you."

"Ahhh!!"

"Goten!! What the hell is going on here?"

"It's been less than a week since you left – how did you grow so much taller?"

"Are you really my Goten?" Chichi stared at the transformed figure before her, her disbelief evident.

In less than a week, Goten had undergone a remarkable transformation. His once rounded features had sharpened, and he stood taller – half a head taller, to be precise.

The baby fat and youthful innocence had vanished, replaced by a more angular and robust appearance.

"Uh... of course I'm Goten!" Goten scratched his head awkwardly. "In order to deal with Cell, I spent two years in the hyperbolic time chamber." His honesty left no room for concealment.

Chichi, his mother, listened intently. "The hyperbolic time chamber?" she repeated. "Is that the magical chamber in the Kami's Palace? Goku mentioned it before."

"I heard from Goku that the environment there is very bad, and the food is not good. You must have suffered a lot in there!" The thought of her young son enduring such conditions distressed her.

Eight years ago, Goku and Gohan had trained there too. But Goten, at just seven years old, had spent a full two years inside. The mental and physical toll he might have suffered weighed heavily on Chichi's heart.

"It's...not bad!" Goten reassured her. "Actually, it wasn't too difficult."

"And my hard work paid off, Cell has been completely eliminated!" Goten replied with a smile.

Chichi beamed. "My Goten is the best!" She imagined Goku and Gohan's pride at seeing Goten's strength.

"Okay," Chichi declared, "you have worked hard in the time chamber. Now let me prepare some delicious food for you." After speaking, Chichi hurried to prepare delicious food for Goten.
