the most boring entrance exam ever

as sora walked into the examination room to find someone he didn't know which didn't surprise him as this was a no-names job he then noticed three pedestals, each holding a crystal ball on top

"first place your hand on top of the left crystal and pour all of your reiatsu. this will determine the amount of reiatsu you. you need average reiatsu to pass" the no-name said

the amount of reiatsu a being possessed was categorized into 5 levels: basic, average, high, great, and immense, basic amount of reiatsu is the common level of power a regular human has they posses the bare minimum and each one were placed in classes in order they were below average class, average class, lieutenant class, captain class, and advanced captain class and other extra categories being orderly which allows you to completely control your reiatsu and chaotic which means you have absolutely no control whatsoever

sora placed his hand on the crystal ball and decided he'd pull a little prank he called the nine tailed fox directly into his body and combined there energies causing the gem exploded in the shinigami's face sora quickly deactivated my geass and put a scared look on my face

"is that supposed to happen" sora asked pretending to be scared that he did something wrong

"no nothings wrong wait right here i will be right back" the no-name said and then he left and came back with the lieutenant i got up and bowed

"lieutenant did i do something wrong" sora said still pretending to be scared

"you were expecting that to happen trying to hide your emotions doesn't work on me what did you do to make the gem explode" the lieutenant asked causing sora to mope he was having fun and she ruined it

"i did exactly as i was told however i didn't finish pouring my power into it before it exploded" sora said seriously he was not kidding and you could tell

"very well continue with the exams while i tell the captain we have hit a goldmine by the way im soifon" the lieutenant said before leaving

now place your hand on the middle ball as it will test your willpower which will measure your potential" the no-name said

basically the more willpower you have the more reiryoku (a power aligned with the spiritual sensitivity and willpower of the user) the more reiatsu you can use

the results went from 1 to six for recruits with one being the lowest the crystal ball tested on how long one can last and just measured the potential of the applicant. it wasn't the final result, as willpower can be improved

i placed my hand on the crystal ball and sat there and waited for 25 minutes as the crystal ball tried and failed to test me no-name started to stare at me

"can't you feel anything" the no-name said

"only a slight jab" was all sora said byakuya wasn't the only one to constantly train then again what else did he have to do

"one moment" the no-name said again and he got up left and came back again with soifon

"i know i did nothing wrong now the dang gem is perfectly intact" sora said aggravated that he fetched the lieutenant again

"i will watch the third test myself as i want to see what happens" she said

the no-name nodded

"now place your hand on the last crystal ball this will show if you can awaken your zanpakuto" the no-name said and sora did so the gem again exploded

"well i guess i wont be getting a zanpakuto anytime soon" sora said thinking it exploding meant he failed but he really didn't care to much thanks to gate of babylon

"are you dense you can unlock your zanpakuto's bankai i need to see the captain stay here" she said and left

"well that was rather boring" sora said awhile later the captain herself came in and gestured for me to follow her as she would finish all the entrance protocols herself she was laughing at how lucky she was to have this overpowered genius and just think how powerful his zanpakutos would be as they went to immediately get him a zanpakuto but what they soon realized was it wasn't zanpakuto it was zanpakutos as in he had to and he decided that once he had them he'd immediately meditate with the both of the 3 hours and 17 minutes later he was up and he saw that both the captain and lieutenant were staring at him

"well" captain yoruichi said

"ask her" sora said indicating the lieutenant who got the hint

"that's not possible after only three and a quarter hours you unlocked your bankai' soifon said

"for both" sora said before walking to the dorms as they went through the identification stuff funnily enough when i got there i found i had a huge room to myself probably the captain pulling some strings i placed both ryoshi and saraki my zanpakutos on a pedestal and decided to turning while thinking now the fun may begin
