Kaden managed to get out of the thorny jungle with the help of Manta's Void Drift skill and flight skill. Once he was back on solid ground, he let out a sigh and opened up the map.
Thanks to the unexpected company, he was now further delayed in his chase of the dragonhawks. However, that did not deter him. He was still so close to the birds that if he let them go away now, he might as well forget about catching them in the future.
"Wait. When exactly did that guy catch them?" Kaden tried to remember the exact timeline when the whole thing went down in his last lifetime. He stared at the map trying to jog his memory.
Unfortunately, that did not help him much.
"Tch." Kaden clicked his tongue and continued to stare at the map, hoping some important detail that he missed would pop out.
