Carrying the Spaceship and Running!

Nick Fury was already about 80% convinced.

Why not 100%?

Fury wasn't one to trust someone completely.

"Tony..." Nick Fury shook his head, "You should know that only those who have experienced hardships can become superheroes."

To be honest, he saw the Battle of New York as a small-scale event. At that time, the Avengers assembled for the first time, and if they couldn't handle such a threat, it wasn't worth investing too much effort.

It was definitely not worth calling Carol Danvers.

Tony Stark chuckled without goodwill. "Nick, you don't have to worry about this. everyone has already seen this video including multiple universes! Am I right, Peter?"

The honest kid, Peter Parker, smiled shyly. "Mr. Stark is right, all of us have seen it. Mr. Fury, you sing quite well."

Nick Fury's eyes almost popped out, and he slapped his head in frustration.

After a little episode, Fury believed in Tony Stark's intentions and didn't delay any further. He immediately called Carol Danvers.

Later, he stated that he couldn't guarantee that Captain Marvel would come to Earth immediately after receiving the call because her activities spanned the vast universe!

To this, Tony Stark naturally understood. He had seen the future video, and in the normal timeline, Carol Danvers was clearly a step behind. When she arrived on Earth, Thanos had already initiated the fatal snap, wiping out half of all life in the universe.

Bruce Wayne chimed in, "Clark, you need to consider the timing. According to our estimation, the attack on the Asgardian refugee ship won't happen for another day or two. You can wait a bit after finding the location."

Tony Stark asked, "One or two days? Is the source of this information reliable?"

Bruce Wayne responded, "Not certain, it's just an approximate guess. And Tony, you should know about the butterfly effect. When we start interfering with the future, it becomes complex and unpredictable."

Tony Stark said, "Well, I don't need you to teach me that. I was just curious, thought you had some key clues."

Clark Kent checked the team channel for any relevant clues but found none, so he closed the interface and focused on flying through space.

One Earth day later, Superman arrived at the suspected location of the Asgardian refugee ship. He searched the area but still found no signs of a cosmic spaceship.

However, he decided to heed Batman's advice and wait a little longer.

Sure enough, after about half a day, Clark Kent noticed something unusual. He keenly sensed a disturbance in the nearby star field and swiftly turned his attention toward it.

"We have come under attack. Our ship is manned by only a few guards, along with men, women, and children from Asgard!"

Clark Kent received this distress call through his headset, and he immediately accelerated, realizing that he had finally located them.

When he arrived at the scene, the Asgardian refugee ship was already crumbling under the relentless barrage of firepower from Thanos's colossal battleship.

Clark narrowed his eyes as he observed the battleship continuously firing its artillery. He recalled the image of Carol Danvers obliterating a similar battleship from top to bottom.

"No," he thought, "there shouldn't be too many guards on the battleship at that moment. But the circumstances have changed; Thanos and his army are now on board. It's too risky to attempt a direct assault."

After pondering for a moment, he decided to discard the idea of a reckless attack and focused on rescuing the people first.

Simultaneously, Superman, enveloped in a subtle aura, did not go unnoticed by Thanos and his cohorts. At this moment, Thanos was preparing to lead a group of his henchmen aboard the ship for combat.

Ebony Maw stopped him. "Master, there's an issue. There's an unidentified flying object approaching us."

"Hmm?" Thanos looked out the window, his expression changing. "Could it be her?"

Without him giving the order, the massive warship immediately adjusted its cannons and fired a barrage of blue energy at Superman!

However, the dense barrage couldn't penetrate Superman's defences. It was only natural; if Captain Marvel could withstand it, there was no reason he couldn't!

Such a scene naturally made Thanos frown. Just as he was about to order an increase in firepower, Superman turned his direction and soared towards the Asgardian refugee ship.

"What is he trying to do?" Ebony Maw and the others exchanged puzzled glances.

The Asgardian refugee ship had suffered engine damage in the previous attack, leaving it in a state of disrepair and immobility. However, when Superman reached it, he effortlessly lifted the spaceship from its underside. With a mighty roar, he initiated a super-acceleration, and in an astonishing display of strength, he carried the entire spaceship away.

Yes, he simply made a swift getaway, moving so rapidly that even the battleship's laser attacks couldn't catch up with him!

This surprising turn of events left Thanos and his subordinates astounded. They hurriedly pursued Superman while continuously firing.

Ebony Maw and the others wore incredulous expressions. They couldn't believe that he was carrying a spaceship and outrunning their battleship!
