Nova's eyes opened, he stared out the opened window, the darkness surrounded him. The sun still hasn't come up showing it was still early. He sat up in his bed and hugged his knees.

'Nova are you alright?' Zith asked worried

'Yea I'm alright' Nova said after a moment of silence

'Another bad dream?'

'Yea' Nova nodded, these dreams always came to him unexpectedly.

He never fully remembered what they were about but he knew he despised these dreams as they were about his time with his past system. He shuddered thinking about it.

Nova got up stretching his sore body. Yesterday he had another day of hard training with Rain and Alice. It's been a few weeks since they've arrived at Felix's castle, everything has been peaceful, too peaceful.

Nova has a bad feeling, he wasn't used to so much warmth and wasn't used to peace. He's gotten more used to it with Yu wang, Aziel and Zachary, but he was still afraid of everything going wrong and his old system coming back.

He sighed before laying back down, he needed to sleep before another day of training.

Mika woke up to Alice shaking him.

"Quickly quickly get up" Alice said a panicked expression on her face

"What's wrong?" Mika asked confused rubbing his eyes

"Vampire hunters they attacked the castle" Alice said panicked, her eyes filled with tears

"W-what?" Mika said he quickly got up

"Follow me" Alice grabbed Mika's hand bringing him outside

Mika grabbed his sword as they ran outside. The scene outside was a mess. Pieces of land had been reared out and many trees were on fire. The once perfect garden disappeared. Felix was fighting 4 vampire hunters, while Luika was fighting off 3. Rain stood shocked unable to react. A vampire hunter walked up to Rain trying to pull her away.

Alice and Mika quickly rushed over and pulled the vampire hunter off of Rain.

"What is a human doing with the vampire queen, are you her little toy" the vampire hunter sneered as he mocked Mika

Alice felt her face go red in anger, using her powers she slammed the vampire hunter into a tree. He coughed up blood.

"Rain, why are you colliding with vampires and letting them hurt us, are you on their side now?" The vampire hunter said holding his chest and looking over to Rain

"I-I.." Rain was still frozen, she wasn't sure what to do.

"Rain are you alright?" Mika asked worried, tugging on Rains arm

"Im fine" Rain said snapping out of it

"I'm not colliding with vampires Saca" Rain said looking towards the hurt vampire hunter

"Then why-"

"I just learned that not all vampires are bad" Rain said cutting Saca off

"You're joking right?" Saca laughed which caused him to cough up more blood

"Not all vampires are bad" Saca mocked

"Not all of them are evil" Rain said again not budging

"Don't you remember they killed my parents, they killed your brother, they killed Mary" Saca laughed again, an almost animalistic cry

"I-I know, but that wasn't the whole vampire race it was just a few of them, I've met good vampires, like Alice" Rain said smiling towards Alice's direction

Alice blushed, both Mika and Alice were trying to minimize their presence as they felt Rain needed a moment alone with the vampire hunter or Saca as she called him.

With Mika, Rain and Alice all focused on Saca they didn't realize the battle that Felix and Luika were having was over. They soon came over and was about to kill Saca when Rain stopped them.

"Please let me talk to him, he doesn't mean any harm I promise"

Saca laughed at this, Rain walked closer and as she was about to say something Saca grabbed Rains arm and before anyone could react Alice had already stabbed into Sacas chest.

"I-I'm so sorry I didn't mean too, he grabbed you- I thought he was going too-" Alice mumbled shocked at what she just did

Rain hugged Alice

"It's alright, I know you didn't mean too" Rain said she was obviously very distressed and upset about what just happened but she tried to keep it in for Alice

Alice cried into Rains arm, she just took a human life and was in shock, she was exhausted and with everything that just happened she passed out.

Rain carried Alice in her arms back into the castle. Everyone followed quietly after her. She put Alice in her bed as she walked back outside to bury Sacas body.

Mika wanted to follow Rain but Felix grabbed his shoulder and shook his head.

"She needs to be alone right now and you need to get some food" Felix said

Mika looked outside looking at Rains small back and then at the sun, seeing that it was already noon and nodded

He followed Felix to the kitchen and saw Luika was already making food. He was still a bit awkward around Felix especially after the incident but it was much better then before.

Felix and Mika made some small conversation while eating.

"Your scent is delicious" Felix said with a smirk trying to lighten the mood

"Thank you?" Mika said going a light pink that would be hard to notice but Felix saw and his smirk got even bigger

"But how did the vampire hunters get in?" Mika said trying to change the topic

"They must have tracked Rain using some sort of device, their always tricky like that" Felix said with a sneer

Mika nodded and quickly finished his meal before running up the stairs. Felix thought that Mika looked like a cute bunny running from a wolf and laughed.

Mika went upstairs to where Alice was. Alice was awake now and was staring blankly out the window.

"Alice?"

"Oh Mika" Alice said with a small smile, her eyes showed how distressed she felt

"Are you alright?" Mika asked worried

"Of course I am, your big sister is always fine" Alice tried for a bigger smile but failed

"Oh alright" Mika said he wasn't good at this and wasn't sure what to do

"Luika made some food?" Mika tried

"I'm not hungry right now" Alice said turning away to look outside the window again

Mika nodded and turned to leave. He wanted to help but he wasn't sure what to do and if he would make it worse or not.

Mika closed Alice's door, he heard her sniffling and tearing up. He slid down to the floor, his back to the door. Covering his face he wished he could do something, anything but he was still helpless.

I'm so so sorry for the long hiatus (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ ), I would have come back many times but I've just been pushing it off because of all the things going on in life. I just started high school and been adjusting to things which is one of the reasons it's been a so long (ó﹏ò｡).

Again I'm so sorry about being away for so long

(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥). I'll try posting in a normal schedule but the updates might be minimal and I'm very sorry about that.

I missed you all a lot (づ•́ ᵔ •̀)づ and again thank you for all the support. I wrote this while in class and flex so if anything is wrong with it that's why. Also if plot holes exist please tell me, as it's been so long that I've forgotten a lot of the story q(╥﹏╥)p
