He laughed sadly. His face full of despair and agony as tears drip in the corner of his eyes. His long and smooth inky hair that was always neat and presentable was now scattered in a dark and cold ground. The always clean and outstanding face no longer the same instead full of wounds and dirt. His healthy and alluring body was now thin and not even had a tiny bit of meat.

Lying in a freezing and chilly floor, he stared at the ceiling and recall the joyful memories that he had. How ironic. Why did he notice all those envious gaze in every time he's done something good? Those compliments that hide a poisonous plan.

He regretted it. He regretted believing every person in this world. Including his family.

Suddenly, a loud footstep sounded to his direction. He tried to lift his body, but it was no use. Pain invade his body causing him to stop struggling to move.

"Brother..."a pleasant voice entered his ears.

He chuckled silently. Even without looking back, he knew who was the person behind his back. The person he trusted so much. Loves so much.

"I know you hate me, but I will find a way to save you. I promise brother."

Sadly, Lie Yuan won't believe on those oaths anymore. He doesn't want to believe in that words.

"But I don't think I can save you now. Who told you to be so good? Heh."a wicked chuckled emerge, "I really hate it pretending to be nice in front of you. You are so good and everyone likes you. But look at you now? Even children are afraid by just hearing your name."

"I just want to visit you, to see you in despair once again. I will see you tomorrow brother. You will finally rest in peace."

Lie Yuan did not answer. He had no strength to even open his mouth. He was exhausted both mentally and physically. His only wish was to end this suffering.

His brother grew angrily as he did not receive respond from him. His face turned ugly as he kicked the cell. Loud bang sounded the whole area.

The guard immediately ran after that thunderous sound and instantly saw the young master who was crying pitifully.

"I know that you hate me brother, but I just want to see you. I will find a way to save you."tears drip on his pitiful face making the guard's heart throb in awe.

"Young master you don't need to worry, that criminal will face his retribution!"one of the guards comforted.

"N-No...my brother is i-innocent…why does this happened to him?"

The guards went silent. They all knew that the person behind this cell was the most dangerous criminal in their kingdom. But his younger brother even plead for him however that criminal was just lying on the ground! Anger grew inside the hearts of the guard.

"Young master, it was his deeds that lead him to this punishment. You are so kind, he doesn't deserve your kindness!"

"Yeah right!"

"He was not even grateful!"

All the guards glared fiercely at the lying youth. They immediately help the young master to stand and guided him outside. The wicked smile on his lips was visible but not enough for the guard to notice.

Lie Yuan closed his eyes. Feeling the little life force slowly disappearing. His only hope was to die in peace. He was tired. He doesn't want to be good anymore. The only regret that he had in this life was to trust so much.

Just as he slowly lost consciousness, a robotic voice invade his mind. Little by little he felt the calm and cold air surrounding his body. Slowly he opened his eyes. What greeted him was the endless void of darkness.

He panicked. He can't see anything. Why is life so unfair? He just wants to die in peace, but even gods can't let him?

When Lie Yuan opened his eyes. The void of darkness was nowhere to seen, instead a blank white house entered his eyes. He slowly regained his consciousness and saw a ball of light jumping as it slowly approached him.
