Chapter 5 | Amusement Park

After reaching his home Dayu rested for a while. After some time he started to gather mana from the surroundings. For commoners like him mana core was mostly formed after the age of fifteen on the other hand royalty brat who got trainers from age of three usually awakened at age of twelve.

Dayu wasn't really worried about it because he was awakened at the age of twelve. His mom was his first teacher. She taught him about mana manipulation. He now focused. On looking within himself, what he saw made his smile go wider.

'...so my mana core wasn't degraded from silver to black. I wasn't expecting that.' Mana cores ranged from black to white. On awakening everyone had black mana core.

Black, brown, red, orange, yellow, silver and white these were ranks of mana core in ascending order. If someone wants to increase their rank of mana core then they have to abandon their normal life and focus on the way of Manaism.

Manaism is like a religion. Many clans follow different ways of Manaism. Some focus solely on meditation and spirituality for evolving to higher rank. Some focused on fighting their inner demon to evolve. But the easiest and most repulsive to evolve is having continuous sexual activities with someone who has a higher rank than themselves.

They call this method Yin and Yang method. Manaism's philosophy are mostly derived from Taoism. Yin represents female and Yang represents male. Even after following these methods it doesn't mean that you will evolve after a few days. It's a slow and steady process.

Jumping off his bed Dayu went downstairs to see his mother.

'Hey mom what about the promise?'

'Oh honey I remember it all don't worry. It's only three PM. We will leave the house by four PM '

So Dayu had an hour to spare

'Mom I want to ask you something.'

'Yes'

'Who is my father?'

A crockery plate fell from his mother's hand and broke into several pieces.

'W...Why are you suddenly asking about your father?'

'Oh nothing today my class teacher asked me about my father so I said that he divorced you and you are only parent I have'

His mom was relieved

'I see honey. Now go and get ready or you'll be late for amusement park and don't forget to put on your pants.'

Dayu started blushing. He don't know but somehow this body of his was contradicting his personality. He even starts blushing when he isn't embarassed. '...Looks like I'll have to train this body once again.'

Dayu somehow managed to convince his mom that his sudden question about his father was only because his teacher asked it but reality was something else. He knows everything about future. His mother will tell him about his father in distant future. He didn't want to ask his mom anything about his father because sooner or later he will get to meet him. '...this time I'll kick his ass.'

A bustling amusement park teeming with people on a warm summer day. The sky is a brilliant blue, dotted with a few puffy white clouds. The park is sprawled across a vast expanse of lush greenery, with various rides, attractions, and games strategically placed to entice visitors.

The main attraction is the Ferris wheel, towering high above the park's entrance, its sleek silver cars glinting in the sunlight. As people queue up for their turn, they marvel at the breathtaking views of the park below and the city beyond. The merry-go-round, teeming with colorful horses and other whimsical creatures, sits nearby, its calming music wafting through the air.

The scent of popcorn, hotdogs, and other carnival treats fills the air, enticing hungry patrons. A variety of food vendors line the walkways, offering a diverse selection of cuisine. Vibrant banners and streamers adorn the rides and games, adding a festive touch to the already lively atmosphere.

Parents and children alike roam the park, laughing, screaming, and enjoying the thrills and excitement of the various attractions. '...this is amazing.'

Dayu was amazed by all of this he body spoke on his own.

'Mumma I'll ride the Ferris Wheel.'

'Okay but firstly let's go and leave Lia in the kids play area.'

'Okie mumma'

Sometime later his mother came back and they went to ride Ferris Wheel.

The Ferris Wheel was an automatic machine which worked on mana principles. It had a mana regulator which converted the atmospheric energy into magical energy. It stopped after every thirty two rounds and every passenger was taken out by a magical wind that lifted them and landed them on a path to exit. New rider didn't enjoy this luxury because it was an old model of Ferris Wheel.

Dayu and his mom sat on the cosy seat of a comparment of Ferris Wheel. As soon as they settled the wheel rotated and moved upward and offered the time for other riders to settle down. After what felt like five minutes the gargantuan rin started rotating. At first it was exciting but later it became nauseating.

Even though Dayu has a silver core his body somehow didn't meet his expectations. '

...damn this body. Can't even handle a ride.'

After what felt like eternity the wheel stopped and Dayu experienced what he saw earlier. A sudden wind arrived from all four directions and lifted Dayu and Eva from the seat and landed them on path to the exit. Somehow this commotion felt more exciting to Dayu than that damned wheel.

Dayu's main reason for coming to amusement park was to study the limits of his new body. Somehow he was very disappointed in his body.

After picking up Lia from child's play area. They left for home and reached soon.

Dayu was thinking about the ways to improve his body. He had two years for all of this. He was worried because bright and healthy students were auctioned by clans as their members and those who failed to get recognised by them were forced to join any of the clan as a servant.

Rejected girls usually have many options. If they were strong they usually joined the female armed forces. Beautiful girls who have evolved their core were used as Yin machine by clans for the promising male youth. If someone failed to fit in, they were appointed as maids.

Dayu didn't want to end up as a mere servant again in this life. He has decided to train his mind and body. He has decided to just grow strong anyhow no matter what route he have to take.

He has created a daily routine for himself. Wake up at five in the morning. Four kilometres run, forty squats, forty pushups, forty pull-ups. Drink five litres of water daily. '...I think that will be enough for this body.'

He then grabbed his dinner and fell asleep as soon as he landed on his bed.

'Another day in this new life. Let's get to the work.'

Dayu wore his track suit and went for a run. After returning he followed his daily routine. His muscles were aching after the exercise. '... This is nothing compared to what I'll face if I couldn't find a place in a clan.'

Raising to his feet he went for a shower. Dresses in school uniform he walked down the stairs. He felt two gazes falling on him.

'What are you two staring at huh? I am wearing my pants'

'No honey we are not staring at you because of the pants. It's because you are awake on time. Usually you always make me wake you up.'

Lia nodded in agreement

'Well about that. You don't have to worry about that. I have now decided to not trouble you anymore.'

'Haha what are you talking about Dayu. It is because of some bad dream again.'

Dayu didn't reply to that and sat down for breakfast. Lia was munching on an omlette. He then focused on his breakfast and started eating his shares.

Sometime later the school bus arrived and he got inside the bus and started finding a seat. Somehow every seat was occupied except that one seat where he sat yesterday.

Dayu rolled his eyes back.

'Not that mini medusa again.'

He reached the seat and glanced at the girl and said.

'Uhhm... Carolina right. Can I sit here as every seat is occupied.'

The girl didn't pay him any attention and pointed her hand to the seat telling him to sit down.'Is she angry about what I said to her yesterday.'

'Uh thanks Carolina.

Not paying him any attention she waved her hand showing that she wasn't interested in talking to him. 'So she is still angry about what happened yesterday.' He sat down and started reading a webnovel.

Soon they reached school and they reached their classes.

Dayu saw Lishai standing near the podium looking gorgeous.

Everyone tried to get to their desks as soon as possible. Reaching his desk Dayu saw a familiar waifish girl sitting on his desk.

Girl glanced at him and smiled politely. Dayu did the same as he wasn't good with words.
