"What if I'm caught?" He panicked, biting on his nails.

"If you are a good cook, who says you would be?" Cao pulled Allen's hands down. "If you fail that criteria, then we need to be weary about you being caught."

"You had this the whole time and you didn't show me?" Allen feigned annoyance, pouting.

"I had thought you might have not needed my help," Cao nervously touched the back of his neck, "besides I didn't want to interfere in any plans you had."

Allen observed this man standing right in front of him. From the looks of things, he was sincere with his words.

"I promise to repay you somehow." He reached out for a hug again.

"No!" Cao brought his hands up in defense.

Allen hands were suspended in the air, his mouth hung wide open.

"I just wanted to show my appreciation for you, sir." Allen's hand dropped in astonishment.

Sensing he had passed across a wrong message, Cao relaxed his muscles, to ease the tension.
