Chapter 65: Whitney

The city of Whitney was built amidst the gentle snows of a pristine tundra and is truly a gorgeous sight. Its appearance is matched by the backdrop of an abundance of hills which have helped shape the city to what it is today. There were a lot of tall and beautiful buildings inside the city, all buildings here were painted white.

The temperature in this region is colder all year round, because of the proximity of the region to one of the forbidden zones, an Level 6 Forbidden Zone: The Ice World.

Tall walls surrounded the city of Whitney, the people here wore thick clothes. The street was decorated like a birthday cake, frosting everywhere!.

Daniela and I came into this city after using the teleportation formation, we were walking toward the forbidden zone from here. I sucked in the cold air and felt it enter like a tonic

Suddenly, I asked Daniela who was walking beside me a question.

"Now, I think about it, I've never heard of a second-year student called Daniela Green. Well, it's not like I know all the students, however for a beautiful student like you, there's no way you won't be famous. So, where were you?''

''Oh? Why would the famous Crimson King ask about this ordinary lady? Could be you are interested in me?" She replies playfully.

I sighed and said ''Forget it if you don't want to talk about it''

''Ah! you're no fun at all.''

''Well, it was to be expected, I'm not a comedian,'' I replied.

There was a silence as we continued walking, finally, Daniela talked.

''It's nothing too complicated. You have not heard of me because I rarely attend classes. Principal Jasmine needs me, so I came. I hope I have answered your question.''

"I see, no wonder I didn't never heard of you. I hope your family is doing fine.'' I said while inwardly thinking 'Nice setting, Dear Jasmine. Let's continue playing'

''Thank you, everything's fine for now. You too, I've never heard of you last year, they said you came this year. I have never heard of your last name in any of the four empires or the five kingdoms. They said you're from a hidden village. I've never heard of a hidden village.''

''Where is your village? Can I visit?" she asked.

''No, We don't like strangers. Our rules forbade any interactions with other people. Well, it is not like we never interacted with other people or village before, it just that we had a little with others. For me to be outside the village is a special case. Normally, nobody is authorized to live outside of the village. We are born in the village, live in the village and die in the village. This one of our absolute rules. I came out because of a special circumstance.'' I explained. My ability to lie increased yet again. I can earn money by lying. I sarcastically thought.

''What a particular village. Still, I will like to visit it. I'm rather intrigued about your hidden village.'' Daniela says with a smile.

"Sorry, I can't do anything about those rules that have already been established, not even our elders could change those rules,'' I explained

''I see, it's pity them,'' Daniela said in a dejected manner.

I smiled before saying ''Oh! now I remember, there's a condition that can allow you to visit our village.''

''What kind of condition? Say it. I'll do it.'' Daniela replied with waiting for me.

I smirked before talking about the said condition. ''It's simple, you just have to marry me and it will allow you to have access to my village. However, it's a one-way trip, if we go back after our marriage, we will never come back again We will in the village till we die. That's the condition I'm talking about. So, are you still interested?"

Daniela stood frozen in place, I waited for her while smiling. After a while, she shouted ''You shameless rogue. As if I would do that. I'm sure you just created this condition on your own.''

I almost burst in laughter, still, I managed to control myself and I replied ''Trust me, this condition was not created by me. I will not lie about it. It's true that you're beautiful, I want you, but to create this kind of lie to have you? It's something I can't do. I'm not that shameless.''

''As if I would believe you. Principal Jasmine had warned me saying that you're are a womanizer. There are rumors confirming that statement and now I saw with my own eyes to which extent you ready to go to have a woman. To think that you will lie saying that your Ancestors created this kind of condition. I'm rather disappointed in you, Kyle.'' Daniela replied glaring at me.

I shrugged my shoulders and say ''Believe in whatever you want, I don't give damn about your thoughts. I just talked about that rule in the hope to help you. It's up to you to decide if you're going to do it or not.''

''Humph! There's no way it's true. Besides I already have a fiancé.'' She announced.

''I see. If you are truly interested in our hidden village history, you just have to break up with your said fiancé.'' I said without any shame.

''Truly shameless. I'm not talking to you anymore.'' Daniela shouted before starting to walk faster, leaving me behind.

I laughed looking at her figure. Nice ass if I must say. Let's continue our little game, Jasmine.

After I muttered that, I followed Daniela. We were already outside of Withney city. I looked back at the giant walls surrounding the city. I'll come back to this city to try skiing, snowboarding (one of the city specialties), and making snow angels with the girls once everything is settled. Suddenly, I had this kind of thought. I hope I'll have time for that.

Daniela and I rented two tamed mutated beasts as means of transportation toward our destination, the Ice World. These two tamed mutated beasts look like Earth Lizard but much smaller, they are faster, though. They are called Snow lizard. Mounting the two Snow Lizards, we departed towards the Ice World. It will take two hours to reach our destination with the Snow lizard speed. Daniela still refused to talk to me, so I let her be. I admired the view as we traveled. This trip will be boring I thought.
