IT'S. OK

Seated on her seat eye glued on the computer in front of her desk not caring about anything around she looked passionate about her work

"Hey our boss is coming today. after two weeks," Sarah said touching Anna's shoulder telling her about her new boss

"Hm OK" nodding. Anna didn't show any interest or nervousness

"You're working since morning, take a break girl or your eyes go blind"

Being friendly Sarah put her hand in between Anna's eyes and the screen in front wanting her eyes to take some rest

sighing while closing her eyes. Anna sat comfortably lying her back on the chair

she took a deep breath

"Good morning sir"

Standing up Sarah said looking at her front while Anna had her eyes still close as she didn't listen to Sarah greeting their boss until Sarah again put her hand on Anna's shoulder

Opening her eye Anna looked up at Sarah and following her gaze. Anna looked to the right and saw a man standing, she also got up from her chair, but as soon as she saw his face her eyebrows frowned while her face showed anger

"What! you're again! What do you want?"

Again with her firm cold icy voice Anna utter making Sarah and everyone shocked

"What do I want?"

Making a mischievous face which showed innocence, looked shocked yet happy he asked making Anna's eyes darker

"Don't play with me and don't come in my sight again! Go...away"

Closing her eyes she said with a calm voice not wanting to make a scene on the second day of her office

While the man who was looking straight at her and observing her every move she is dressed today as same as their first meeting but her hair today is tied in a low ponytail different from before, he remembers every detail of that day her sweaty face, her panicked state with her cold voice

"Wait a minute! why are YOU here? this is my office" with a confusing face he asked Anna

"Why are you testing my patience? I work here don't make me do anything that I regret later" not understanding what he said as she still thinks that he's just following her

"Ann-Anna he is the CEO here our boss" saying with a low voice Sarah tried to tell Anna

"WHAT"

Now looking at her left side Anna almost shouted.

again frowning her eyebrows with an irritated face she again looked at him the man standing with an innocent expression on his face

"I'm sorry" looking in his eye Anna utter without any embarrassment, she just misbehaved with her new boss and that's how she apologized

"It's OK"

With a smile on his face the man said, He was just looking at her, his eyes didn't dare to move, just saying it's ok, he that easily let her go, and lead himself towards his cabin

Again, Sitting down on her seat Anna get to her work, with her empty mind, she didn't wanted to think anything else but to catch up with her work

"Woh what was that! did you know our boss before?"

Sarah utters with her eyes wide open, as she was still shocked, whereas on the other side everyone was looking at them both

"No" keeping it short Anna answered simply

"Oh, I guess you're not comfortable talking... it's OK" hearing nothing but silence in reply Sarah sigh seeing the new side of Anna

*On phone call*

"How is your job going?" Lia asked as her sister just told her about her new job

"Hm pretty well" sipping her hot coffee as she seated in the canteen of her office

"I'm glad that I called you otherwise you're not the one who would bother to tell me on your own" complaining to Anna as she didn't tell her about her job on her own

"Hm" again she just hmmed in reply

"OK I'll talk to you later, bye"

"Bye"

Saying goodbye to each other Anna hangup the call.

Still sitting in the canteen her eyes landed on her boss who just walked in with a guy both smiling and laughing seemed like friends

*How many friends does this person has* still looking in their direction Anna thought to herself

The man waking inside felt her someone's gaze and suddenly looked to her side and once again their eye met for a second as Anna turned her face to the other side

"Was she looking at me?" whispering. he asked himself

"Never mind" again looking at her side as she was walking out of the canteen he mumbled

"What" hearing him his friend asked

"Huh? no - nothing" looking back at his friend he answered

She walked out of "high building" as her shift got over at 7 and now it's 7:15 pm the streets seemed dark with no hint of sunset as the sun didn't show up for almost 4 days, wearing the warm jacket she got on her bike riding it to her home

After almost 20 minutes of a ride she walked into her apartment throwing her jacket to the side in that messy living room she went to take a shower.

Thinking about her whole day as whatever happened back in there

she doesn't know why she didn't felt embarrassed or ashamed for shouting at her boss on the second day of her job, and for what she did today was wrong and she could have got fired for her mistake but the think what is bothering her is why he didn't make an issue of her misbehavior, an employee who just joined insulted the boss and in reply, the boss said nothing but an *IT's OK"?

Grabbing her head with her both hands she is tried of her overthinking, she just wanted to relax her mind and the most she could do now is to get out of her apartment and take a fresh long walk
