Pokemon: The Darkest Timeline

[VIRIDIAN CITY, A WEEK LATER]

The Rocket base was an underground set of rooms under the hotel, I wore my Team Rocket Uniform and went to attend the meeting. Once again, That woman with purple hair and venomous eyes was there.

We were a total of 20 grunts in the room, Each of us wore a similar uniform.

"We weren't properly introduced last time I met you, I am your Captain, Lisa." She said with a smile, "And all of you in this room are members of my squad."

She stopped and then pointed to a white board behind her.

"This is your first mission, You are going to invade the Viridian City department store...We got information that a new shipment of Evolution stones arrived there last week. I will choose five grunts out of all of you to invade the Viridian City department store.

The rest of you will go to the Viridian Forest and capture 25 Beedrills with Red potential, We need them." She said with a devilish smirk.

She hand-picked 5 grunts for the Viridian Department store heist, I was amongst them. The rest of them went to Viridian Forest to catch Beedrills, They took some Antidotes from the store room before leaving.

"Now the rest of you will go to the Dept. store and get the Evolution stones, Remember if you succeed, Each of you will be paid in high amounts." Lisa said, motivating the crew.

We left in our Team Rocket uniforms, slinking through the shadows of the night. There weren't many cars out right now.

We soon arrived at the Viridian City department store, it was several stories high.

"How the hell will we find the Evolution Stones?" I asked the others.

"The Viridian Department store has 5 floors, We are five. Each of us will take care of a floor but the one on the ground floor might have to take care of Officer Jenny once the alarm goes out." Another grunt replied.

"I'll stay on the ground floor." I volunteered, seeing the others were afraid.

"Alright, Let's move in. Keep your Pokémon beside you at all times." Another grunt said and we ran through the doors, entering the Department store.

An alarm went out and the customers began running, A grunt sent out his Pokémon, Magnemite and used Thunder wave on everybody, paralyzing them.

"Alright, Newbie. You're taking the Ground floor, We'll loot the top floors and be back in 30 minutes tops." The grunt said and the rest ran up the stairs.

I began searching the counter and searched the drawers, I found a considerable amount of potions, antidotes and burn heals but the best part of it is that I found a box of Fire stones.

I found a sack in the corner and began looting the ground floor, I took some Pokéballs, Great balls, Ultra balls and Premier balls and the mart attendant could only watch in dismay as he was being looted.

I found some TMs which were namely T.M Thunderbolt and T.M Brick Break and finally T.M, Iron tail. I sent out Pikachu and I used them to teach it those moves.

I put the stones into the sack and pointed a finger at the Attendant.

"Where are the other Evolution stones?" I asked, sternly.

"They...They're at the secret side room," He replied, pointing his head to a button on the wall. I pushed the button and a panel opened up.

"What's the code!?"

"45..22,"

I typed 4522 and the panel went inside, The wall opened up and revealed a door with different evolution stones.

Suddenly, The two officers which were known as the heroes of the City arrived. Officer Henry and Officer Jenny, They had their Pokémon out.

Officer Henry had a Sneasel with him and Officer Jenny had her Classic Growlithe.

"Stand down, Team Rocket grunt." Henry said.

"Why should I?" I asked, sending out my Pikachu.

"Sneasel! Use Slash on the grunt!" Henry ordered. Sneasel suddenly disappeared from where it stood, only to appear in front of me with its claws glowing. I side-stepped out of the way and narrowly escaped Death.

That was attempted murder.

"Pikachu! Brick break!" I ordered. Pikachu's hands glowed in red fighting type energy as it smashed its fist repeatedly against Sneasel's face. Sneasel's skull broke.

"Now end it with Thunderbolt!" I ordered, making some distance. Pikachu slapped its cheeks and shrouded itself in electricity. It ended Sneasel's misery by firing a point-blank thunderbolt that killed Sneasel.

"Sneasel! No!! You Murderer!" Henry shouted with pain.

"When you face against Team Rocket, There's no playing fair." I said, "Pikachu! Please use Thunderwave on them!"

Pikachu fired them with a Thunderwave and they got paralyzed. I immediately tied them up with some Escape ropes before returning to my looting, I gave Pikachu a high-five.

I returned it to its Pokéball as I completed looting the secret room, I got 90 Fire stones, 20 Leaf stones and 60 Water stones.

I was happy with my haul and decided to head back to the counter, I took 15 random TMs and stuffed them in my pocket, They could be useful later.

My Cohorts came downstairs with their own sacks.

"I found the Evolution stones," I said with a smile.

"Great, You just got us a huge payload." The grunt said, slapping my back.

"Not bad, Rookie." Another grunt said then looked around, Officer Jenny and Officer Henry were tied to a corner and the dead body of a Sneasel near a door. He knew at once that he wouldn't get on my bad side.

We ran out the door and exploded the bikes that Officer Jenny and Officer Henry used so that they couldn't trail us when the Thunder wave wore off and then we went back to base.

Lisa sent 100,000 Poké into our accounts for a mission well done and the one of the grunts named Rick took us out for beer, I smiled while drinking with my new friends.

My First mission was a success!
