MC transported to the WORLD OF POKEMON and lives his life how he wants to. Traveling the world, fighting Bad Guys with Pokemon, Investigating his Parents Deaths. while helping to support his Little Sister and her dream of being a Pokemon Master. Frustrated with the different types of Pokemon Fanfics out there that are all about just completing Pokeleagues and such. UGHHH what happened? I feel disoriented at first I don't know how to describe it Its as if I now feel jumpstarted or something of that sort but soon memories started coming in like a flood and along with the many emotions until He was overwhelmed and blacked out.

...

Some time passed and he woke up from the shaking of his shoulder. He could make out voices and his vision was blurry but after a couple of moments, he started to process some things.

There was a kid with shaggy brown hair and green eyes looking at him questioningly "Lan what's up with you? You slept the whole bus ride here and we couldn't wake you up. Are you sick or something?"

Lan recognized the kid from his sparse memories as he was Lan's only friend that he had made on this trip. His name was Kalen and his family owned a large Pokemon Ranch in the Kalos Region.

He then realized that he had said "We". He looked to the side of Kalen and saw a girl with blond hair in a green sundress. He recognized her as the girl who Kalen had been flirting with ever since they got onto the bus. She was putting on a slightly annoyed expression at his staring at her.

Lan just smiled and shrugged it off "Sorry about that I wasn't feeling well my Head hurt for most of the way and my memory is pretty jumbled."

"You all right do you need me to tell your sister or anything," Kalen asked sincerely. But the girl just humphed seemingly becoming increasingly annoyed at the offer.

Taking the hint and waving his hand nonchalantly "No thanks it's just a minor headache and nerves. I am fine, Kalen you two go on ahead. I still need to gather my stuff."

"Alright but don't be late this Camp, this is put on by Oak Laboratories we are so lucky to be selected to participate"

Just smiling and nodding Lan reassured them and finally, the duo took off. He smiled and thought 'So I have a sister I wonder what she is like?'

Lan smiled and started to go grab his things. He remembered where "He" had previously put it. It was a worn down brown shoulder knapsack that his parents had given him for his 8th Birthday. It was special because it was what his father had used on his journey and it was a well built spatial bag that stored about seven to eight times the bag's standard capacity. Space bags were fairly common in this world but they were still expensive.

Lan grabbed his bag from the pile of luggage and made his way to a spot of grass away from the crowd. He then looked in his bag to make a quick mental calculation of what he had. He had about 1000 Pokedollars with him in addition to a couple of sets of clothes and a light brown jacket.

Lan sighed " I guess I was being greedy hoping for a Pokeball or two when I came to this world" He then sat down on the grass to clear up his recently inherited memories.

He knew of his wishes apparently, he assumed his soul had integrated with that of the boy Lan Wilder. At first, he was conflicted because this boy seemed to die on the bus ride to the Pokemon Camp.

He felt bad for taking over the boy's body, but for now, he had to roll with it. Now his name is Lan Wilder and he looked at it as giving the child a second chance since their souls integrated. Trying to think back caused Lan felt a headache while the different streams of information were input into his mind.

:// WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED.

*****BEEP BEEP ******

:// IT HAS DEEMED NECESSARY FOR SOUL TO KNOW HIS SITUATION. SOUL DOES NOT NEED TO WORRY, THIS VESSEL'S EXISTENCE WAS CREATED BY YOUR WISH. THERE WAS NO PREVIOUS SOUL AS IT WAS A JUST A WAY FOR THE GODS TO CREATE A STABLE HUMAN VESSEL AND BACKGROUND BASED ON THE FIRST WISH.

:// SOUL STATUS: 100% INTEGRATION: COMPLETE

:// SOUL TRANSMISSION ENDED

Lan chuckled and laughed at himself.

"I guess that clears many things up." He felt like an invisible weight has lifted off his shoulders. "I am Lan Wilder". Now, let me understand what my situation is. Lan started to quickly absorb and navigate through his other important memories but doing this Lan became unaware of the passing of time.

Unknown to him two pairs of eyes were watching him curiously.

"Alakazam is this young boy alright?"

A Deep Voice replied in the man's head "Yes Master Oak it seems that he is perfectly fine. I informed you as it is the first time my initial psychic scan have been completely blocked from reading someone since Red and Blue."

Oak "What those two are up to now I will never know. They still have a lot of secrets even from me. Gary has been bugging me lately about his dad and about if he is going to come back from his Journey. But putting that aside, about the scan that has piqued my curiosity can you sense any negative intentions or anything of the sort"

Alakazam "No, But I did since several sharp fluctuations of emotions from this student when the young students arrived"

Oak flipped through his stack of files until he saw the boy's Picture and started reading it. The more he read the more he went wide-eyed and slack-jawed. He suddenly felt an immense wave of sorrow for the boy. Not about his background but due to the boy's connection to the recently classified news of an incident occurring just outside the Sinnoh region.

Sensing his Master's fluctuating emotions Alakazam decided not to tell Oak that the kid was now finding his way back to his group of students.

Lan Wilder

Citizen ID # 36785H301

Age: 13

Hair Color: Brown

Eye Color: Gold

Son of Famous Archeologist David Wilder and Susan Monroe. The mother died during birth. Father remarried four years later to another Famous Archeologist Danielle Nakiri. They had a daughter soon after named Alice Nakiri-Wilder.

No permanent place of Residence or League affiliation as the boy travels accompanying his parents throughout their explorations of Archeological Ruins and excavation sites. He was homeschooled by a parent's colleague and has already aced the International Trainer Certification Exam (ITCE) when he was ten years old and has more recently passed one of the Pokemon Intermediate Breeder Exams(PIBs) from the Sinnoh Region.

Accounts say His Father seemed to have avoided Lan after his mother's death by entrusting him to others but eventually moderately changed his ways when he remarried. Danielle Nakari had a healthy relationship with Lan but was mostly occupied with her work along with Lan's Father, leaving Lan to take care of his half-sister from a young age.

Lan Wilder has shown signs of superior intellect exceeding his peers in many scenarios but seems to have a difficult time making friends. Wilder seems to isolate himself from people his age and prefers interacting with Pokemon and those who are older than him.

He has been seen interacting with many Pokemon but has never owned one as a family pet or given one to train by his Parents. His dad's colleague said that "Lan has the potential to become a type of Pokemon Researcher the world has never seen before."

He has practiced a Martial Art that does not seem to be inherited from his parents. The paternal Grandfather was a Master Breeder but passed away 5 years ago. His parents and his sister are his only living relatives.

...

Oak finished reading the boys' background check and sighed resigning himself to make a few calls to some old colleagues.

...

After going through his memories Lan felt much better.

Basically, he was a nerd and proud of it. What disappointed him was that he didn't have much of an emotional connection with his parents but it was fine for now as they might notice a drastic change in his behavior.

He does have a deep connection with his half-sister which he spoiled every chance he got. Her name was Alice Nakiri-Wilder and she had short white hair with piercing red eyes. She was very mischievous and occupied Lan everywhere. (Looks like a younger Alice Nakiri from Shogoki no Soma)

Within his memories, he found knowledge of his Cultivation Method, after reading it he knew that he was going to take some time to develop and fully understand everything. Other than the most important things he found the much needed general information about the society.

Kids are required to attend school from 5years old until 14 years old when they graduate from primary Pokeschool by taking a trainer exam. After that, they are considered independent and are free to do whatever they want. If they want to pursue their education they will go to a specialized college or secondary school for an area that they want to study whether it is related to Pokemon or not.

Most of the population are Pokemon trainers to an extent but work local or regional jobs. Trainers are just a general term for someone who has a Pokemon but most families have Pokemon whether they are trainers or not. However, it is widely known that many Trainers of all ages pack up and go on journies throughout their region and adventure to other regions exploring and challenging gyms and Pokemon Leagues.

Lan smiled as he didn't have any aspirations to do something like that just yet so he would just go with the flow for right now and do anything that he found intriguing. He had some advanced knowledge about taking care of Pokemon so this opened many different fields that could pique his interest.

Lan was going to make sure to enjoy this life to the fullest but he he knew that he was going to be picky about his Pokemon. He wanted them to be much more than mindless pets that some trainers see them as he wanted them to be his friends and family.

Lan smiled and resolved himself to challenge his limits as a Trainer. He finally got ahold of himself and looked into the distance where the groups of students were gathering and sped up to join his group.

Fist pumping and muttering "My new life starts now!"
