Next Danger Zone 1

Frank and K didn't have a water-type Pokemon with them. Kate had Blastoise but she could not use it right now. Lance had his Red Gyarados. It was a pseudo-king rank Pokemon and Cody had a Swampert which was a tier 1 king-rank Pokemon.

Axel had Gyarados, Slowbro, and Cloyster. He didn't let Croconaw fight this battle as it was only a common rank Pokemon and the weakest Pokemon in the enemy team was at least an uncommon rank Pokemon.

So, they had 5 Pokemons and they had to deal with 40 of them. If there were other king-rank Pokemons in their team then Axel would have felt secure but that was not the case.

"So, what is the plan? This danger area is even more ridiculous than the previous one. We can only use water-type Pokemons and we don't have many.

"We will fight. The previous danger zone also looked impossible before but we overcame it. We just have to plan it well.", said Axel.

"So, what is the plan?"

"I have been thinking..."

They made their plans. The plan was not full proof but it was better than nothing.

When they called out their Pokemons, the Gyarados that were over and above tier 1 king-rank Pokemons left the battlefield. Axel thought that this would happen. Gyarados were arrogant Pokemons. They would not fight with someone who was weaker than them.

However, that still left 20 Pokemons to defend.

There were 2 tier 1 king rank Pokemons, 4 pseudo-king rank Pokemons, 5 elemental rank Pokemons, 4 elemental rank Pokemons and the rest were uncommon rank Pokemons.

That was still a massive force.

"Slowpoke, you will take care of 2 king-rank Gyarados. Swampert will also help it. Gyarados and red Gyarados, both of you will be in charge of pseudo-king rank Pokemons and elemental ones. Cloyster, you will deal with uncommon rank Pokemons."

The plan was very bad. Each of them had to deal with multiple Pokemons and Cloyster could not deal with 5 uncommon rank Pokemons. That was why Axel had told it to hold the fort and only use defensive moves.

"Let's start the party!!!", shouted the tier 2 king rank Gyarados.

Each of the Gyarados gave a huge roar. The combined effect of 'Intimidation' was not something other Pokemons could hold on to. It was especially hard for Cloyster as it was only an uncommon-rank Pokemon. 

"Gyarados, use your own 'Intimidation' and use 'Rain dance'. Slowpoke, you use 'Trick room' and then get ready to use 'Psychic rain'", commanded Axel. 

The red Gyarados was also a powerful Pokemon. It was a shiny Pokemon and Lance had trained it well. Axel knew that his Gyarados could handle 2-3 pseudo-king rank Gyarados. It was already very near to reaching king rank and its moves were also very well trained.

The rain started and it rained down heavily. Other Gyarados from the enemy team had also used 'Rain dance'. It was a powerful move for a water-type Pokemon.

Axel's Gyarados didn't waste any time and then used 'Hydro pump'. The power of 'Hydro pump' with 'Water manipulation' was very high. It was a very small jet stream of water beam. It was small but it was very fast and it had high pressure. 

This immediately connected to one of the pseudo-king rank Gyarados and it was injured. The other pseudo-king rank Gyarados was enraged and it used 'Outrage' on Axel's Gyarados.

Axel's Gyarados (Let's call it Gyarados 1 for the fight) was not going to take the hit. 

"Gyarados, use 'Tail blade' and then dive into the river to dodge it", said Axel.

Gyarados 1 did exactly that and then used the move. Multiple 'Tail blades' were thrown off by Gyarados 1 and most of them struck to the incoming Gayrados. Some of them were hit the elemental rank Gyarados and they flinched for some time. However, the incoming Gyarados were enraged after using 'Outrage'. Even though it suffered multiple injuries after using the move, it was still coming toward Gyarados 1.

Gyarados 1 took a dive inside the river and came out on the other side. Gyarados missed its 'Outrage' and it just hit the air. Gyarados 1 came out from the other side with a charged 'Hyperbeam' and threw it to the injured Gyarados who was hit by 'Hydro pump'. The poor Gyarados was just getting ready to fight again but it was hit by the move.

'Hyper beam' was a level 50 move and it was very powerful right now. Gyarados received severe injuries and it was out of the battle. It softly went to the river banks and stayed there looking after its injuries.

The Gyarados who had used 'Outrage' was still using it and it turned around and targeted Gyarados 1 again. 

The red Gyarados was dealing with 2 pseudo-king rank Gyarados and the elemental rank Gyarados were left with nothing. So, the elemental rank Gyarados targeted the red Gyarados. These elemental rank Gyarados knew that Axel's Gyarados was more powerful than the red Gyarados. So, they wanted to deal with the weaker one first.

Gyarados 1 saw all this and its anger reached to the peak. It gave a loud roar and ….

Ding!

Gyarados has created its pre-domain move. Name the move.

"Finally, let's name it 'Sea Dragon'"

The move has been named. The pre-domain move would create a raging storm of water mixed with bolts of thunder. The rain would increase heavily and the power of Gyarados would increase. It could only use the move for 5 minutes.

Gyarados 1 immediately used the move. The rain changed. It looked like there was a fierce storm of rain and Gyarados 1 had created a tornado made out of rain and it was heading towards the pseudo-king rank Gyarados. 

The pseudo-king rank Gyarados came out of its confusion status and a bolt of 'Thunder' hit its face. The power of the move was very high as 'Thunder' was now at level 53. It was an electric-type move, so it affected Gyarados a lot.

Gyarados also didn't sit quietly. Even though it was hurt, it also used its 'Thunder' towards Gyarados 1. However, due to the pre-domain move, and due to level 53 'Thunder', the direction of the thunder changed and it hit the Gyarados again. Then the water tornado engulfed it.

Thunder (Gyarados) (Level 40): The move is faster than before.

 (Level 45): It is more accurate and can change direction one time. 

 (Level 50): The power of the attack has increased and it could now be a supporting move increasing the power of other moves.

Axel didn't know if that Gyarados was alive but it was certainly out of the battle. 

Gyarados then looked at those elemental-rank Gyarados with vengeance.

Slowpoke was very intelligent and it was a tricky Pokemon. When it used 'Trick room', its speed stats had been changed with one of the king-rank Gyarados. Gyarados were really fast Pokemons, so now that Gyarados became slow and Slowpoke became fast. 

It then used 'Psychic rain'. The 2 Gyarados that it was fighting used a new move. The move created a water bubble and covered their whole body. It was a defensive move and when the 'Psychic rain' fell down, they were able to defend themselves but they were not able to completely defend it.

"Slowpoke, 'Clam mind' and then 'Future sight'. Then use 'Confusion'", shouted Axel.

While the 2 Gyarados were defending the 'Psychic rain', Slowpoke first used 'Clam mind'. 4 purple bulbs of psychic energy spread out on the battlefield. It then looked at the sky and a huge amount of psychic energy came out of its body. This move took around 10 seconds to activate. This was 'Future sight'.

The activation time of 'Future sight' had been reduced from 15 minutes to 5 minutes. 'Future sight' was a powerful move. However, it took a lot of time to activate. A Pokemon of the same rank who was not resistant to 'Future sight', might faint directly after it was hit. 

By that time, those 2 Gyarados were already ready to attack. Axel could see that both of them were charging 'Hyper beam' and by looking at the time and the power of the attack, he could tell that these were not normal 'Hyper beam'

"Slowpoke, use 'Teleport' to those 'Calm minds'", said Axel.

Slowpoke teleported at a fast rate and then gathered 3 bulbs of psychic energy that were spread out. The speed of its teleportation had increased as it had trained a lot in it.

Future sight (Slowpoke) (Level 40): The time of the move activation is reduced to 10 minutes

 (Level 45): The time of the move activation is reduced to 5 minutes. However, the power of the move has decreased.

 (Level 50): The power of the move has increased.

Calm mind (Slowpoke) (Level 40): It could now be it 4 times.

 (Level 45): It could use the move very fast.

 (Level 50): It would spread out a bulb of the psychic ball and scatter it around the battlefield. Slowbro could then get close to those balls of psychic energy and use 'Calm mind'.

Teleport (Slowpoke) (Level 40): It can use multiple teleports at a very fast speed. However, the distance of the teleport would be very small.

 (Level 45): The move would be done swiftly as it would be very hard to detect.

Its moves had been upgraded a lot. Slowpoke was not sitting down quietly. Even though it was recently caught as a king-rank Pokemon, it had already been successful in changing its fighting style as per Axel's wishes. It had also been able to upgrade its moves multiple times and it was near to reaching tier 2 king-rank Pokemon.

By the time Gyarados had charged their 'Hyper beam', Slowpoke had already collected those 4 bulbs of psychic energy and now its special attack and special defense had increased at a very high rate.

"Look at it and then dodge it.", said Axel looking at both of the Gyarados that were ready to unleash their 'Hyper beam'.

Since Slowpoke was faster due to using 'Trick room' and it also had teleportation, Axel confirmed that it would not be hit by that attack. 

BANG!!!

Just when Gyarados used their 'Hyper beam', to attack Slowpoke, it then proceeded to use 'Teleport' to instantly teleport to a nearby location. When it increased the speed to using it, it could only teleport around 10 meters but that was enough to dodge the attack.

However, for some unknown reason, Slowpoke could not teleport and….

BANNG!!!

It was hit by the combination of 2 'Hyper beam' and it flew off and crashed into the water. The explosion of the attack was so huge that Axel could not see anything other than rising waves of water from the river. 

"SLOWPOKE!!! Are you okay?", asked Axel.

If it became unconscious, it would drown and that would be another huge problem.

It took 20 seconds for the raging water to cool down and Axel could finally see Slowpoke lightly swimming on the water. It was still breathing and it was still standing. Axel felt a huge relief after seeing that Slowpoke was still conscious. 

Gyarados were known for their high attack power and unbearable rage. The power of that attack was not something a normal tier 1 king-rank Pokemon could defend properly.

Axel thanked the heavens that Slowpoke had used 'Calm mind' 4 times before which had increased its special defense to a high degree.

If Slowpoke had not used it, then it would not be standing right now.

Slowpoke had not come out of it without any injuries. It was bleeding from all over its body and Axel could see multiple wounds on its body. However, its eyes said that it was not ready to give up.

After using such a powerful 'Hyper beam', both the Gyarados could not move or attack for some time. Axel was going to take advantage of it.
