Ice Cave in Peril!?

After the three left the hospital they headed towards the Ice cave because Emelia wanted a "Super cute and strong Pokémon." The plan was to go to Violet City and challenge the gym there. The group decided that since they were in town that they might as well check it out.

The group make it to the cave and have currently spent an hour inside. "How come there aren't any cute Pokémon in here?" Emelia said crossing her arms. "You do realize that we are in a CAVE... CAve... cave..." As Michael decided to raise his voice an echo came from deep in the cave. "Yeah.. lets not do that again please." Finn says looking at Michael. "Sorry" Michael replies with a shrunken mouth.

The group walks for a bit longer and then hears a loud BOOM from deeper in the cave. They run to see where it came from and see a giant Mamoswine rampaging and running through herds of Piloswine and Swinub along with a colony of Golbats and Zubat. The Piloswine are defending their young Swinub by taking the Mamoswine together and they aren't budging. The Golbat are grabbing their young Zubats and are leaving the area.

In the confusion Finn sees a Golbat on the ground with a baby Zubat whimpering trying to make it move but it won't budge. The rampaging Mamoswine starts charging at the Zubat, seeing this Finn runs over to try and stop it. "Ace use Quick Attack on the Mamoswine and make yourself the target of its rage." Finn gets in front of the Golbat and Zubat as if to shield them from any attacks the Mamoswine may try. The Zubat watching this looks up to see a smiling Finn trying to protect them.

Eevee runs up to Mamoswine and hits it right under the eye sending it sliding out of the way making it miss Finn and crashing into a wall tusk first. "Ace make sure it comes nowhere near me." Eevee nods its head and turns back to Mamoswine. At this time Emelia and Michael send out their Pokémon and try to assist the exiting Pokémon. Cyndaquil, now with battle experience isn't timid to fight a Pokémon bigger than itself after battling Steelix for a week. Teddiursa is still scared but is ready to fight to protect Emelia and the Piloswine and Swinub. Michael sends out his Shinx and Starly who immediately help out the Golbat and Zubat that are trying to exit.

Finn starts to analyze the situation and does the best thing he can think of to help. Finn picks up the injured Golbat and puts it on his shoulders. He looks at the scared Zubat "Come with me little one, I'll make sure that you are safe." Finn says that with a smile on his face. The Zubat looks at him and hesitates for a second, looks at Eevee, Shinx, and Cyndaquil launching attacks at the Mamoswine keeping its focus on them and then proceeds to jump into Finn's hood.

Finn then carries the injured Golbat and Zubat out of the cave where he finds citizens and the Nurse Joy of Blackthorn City treating the injured Pokémon that were in the cave. Finn looks around taking in all of what is going on and then walks over to Nurse Joy and lays down the injured Golbat and Talks to Nurse Joy. "Nurse Joy, I have an injured Golbat and her baby is in my hood for protection." Nurse Joy starts treatment on the Golbat. Finn sets Zubat down next to Chancey. "I have to go but Chancey will make sure that your mother is better. Be strong little one, I'll be back." Finn rubs Zubats head to reassure him.

Finn turns to Nurse Joy again. "How did you know to be here? I never called in help." Nurse Joy points over to the entrance of the cave. "Clair told us to be ready so we hurried over here with our equipment." Finn looks at the cave entrance and sees the Blackthorn City gym leader standing there. Finn walks over to the entrance of the cave and Clair looks at him. "Sorry but you can't go in there. There is a rampaging Pokémon in there and it's not safe." Finn meets her eyes. "I know, that's why I'm going to stop it!"

Clair gives him a disappointed look. "Kid... You aren't getting in there." Now infuriated, Finn gets right up in her face. "My friends are in there containing it and I'm going to join them in stopping it. Now get out of my way!" Finn then tries to walk around her but she puts her hand on his shoulder. Finn turns his head then grabs her hand and squeezes it to the point that she has to back up. Realizing she can't stop him herself she sends out her Dragonair. Dragonair flies to the entrance and roars at Finn.

Then out of nowhere the baby Zubat stands in front of Finn and screeches at Dragonair. Finn rubs his head and walks in front of him. "It's okay. Just watch, I got this one." Then in the blink of an eye Finn dashes forward grabs Dragonair and throws it to Nurse Joy. "You should probably treats this Pokémon too." Everyone in the area including Clair looks at Dragonair on the ground unconscious and not a word was said out of shock. Finn looks at the shocked Clair. "Your cousin made the same mistake but since he helped me I'll make this my way of paying my debt off." Finn turns around and starts to walk off. "DON'T call me kid again!"

Finn finally starts to make his way back to his group when the Zubat flies in front of him. "You wanna help too don't you?" Zubat then shakes his head and flies to his hood. "Alright but you better hang on." Finn takes up a running stance, calms himself down and then blasts off with the same speed he had when he defeated Dragonair and gets back to his friends in a minute. He returns to see everyone tired from battling Mamoswine except Eevee. "Ace to me." Eevee turns and sprints to Finn and awaits orders. "We are going to try and stop this thing together. It's ok if we can't, the Blackthorn City gym leader is outside the cave as a last resort. I got her permission for us to fight it. So lets go!"
