CHAPTER 1— A strange mystery

It was a night, six adults were rushing to the north. They looks in hurry, it's like they have to reach somewhere and were already late. They were rushing at a great pace, in front, they can see a glimpse of some small traditional houses precisely village houses, seem to be the location where they were heading. However, the village is still somewhat far, one gaze to the destination make them gasp and moan, they have travelled a long distance and now have no courage to move further, they are not in mood to move, not even a single step. Except one, the guy who is in brown leather jacket, in a black regular pants having wolf inscriptions on both of his thighs.

"Hey! let's take a break?" A soft voice echoed, similar to those of heavenly beautiful angels. Melodic sweet and enough to charm anyone around. The girl was bent on her knees, her hands were resting on the respective ankles.

"Yeah! She's right let's take a break" A guy with golden hair, half of which have shaded his forehead. His attire is quite simple although effective. Half sleeve navy blue shirt, with madarian collars, and horizontal green strips, mitten gloves on his skinny palms and blue jeans down the shirt. He was drenched in sweat. He and the angel girl were Glinting at him in hopes, he might give them the break.

The remaining 3 also have the same issues, as their eyes were stuck to the jacket lad, they were striving to keep their gaze vastly innocent as possible, so that they got the green light for this leave. As he was the only one who won't look tired.

"Your eyes won't work. We have taken five breaks. Besides, it's not that long a distance we are already late, can't afford more breaks." Without offering any confers to their break offering pitiable eyes, he continues to walk further. "Come on be tough you are warriors you simply can't gave up like that."

"No one's giving up Jason it's only a short break we are asking for?" The golden hair guy blazed at him. "You are not alone, we are team. You have to think of others." As he said he did expect Jason's approval for the break but it won't turn out as he wished. The guy without offering any concerns or approval keep moving to the village.

"It's no use Trent he won't listen." A red cap guy tapped on his shoulder. Straightening his twill cap, he along with Trent follows the ruthless brown jacket guy who is too cruel to grant a break.

They understands he won't listen, so finally with grim faces joins him to the path which leads to the village. Through a great journey, they eventually reached their destination standing at the sandy path, keep staring at a red board inside which the name of the village is written 'Younga village' in dark green letters.

They enters in where they can see small roughly build houses among which some were well built though and also two storey ones. The shops of grossary, vegetable shops and all were located 10 feet away where a board is labeled 'Young's Mart' the place is a hub and market for every daily things. The things inside were of high quality however shops were narrow one footware shop left to the toy shop is the only big shop of the market.

As soon they crossed it they found few people, who already gathered they were all dressed in traditional village attire all men and women, though some have different high-class attires too most of them in village attire. Among them, there's an old man who welcomed them.

The old man is a thin fellow, he had a long white beard, dressed in a plain white gown, a wooden wizard like stick which he holds for support, and his age had to be maximum. "Come! Come, fellas." The six were touched by this welcome they greeted the old man and other people.

By saying this he lead them to a Royal house which is few meters away from this location.

The house is big enough seem to be of a royal man. It was actually of the businessman who left the village several years ago and never returned, he last came to his house 6 years ago after that never seen, till this date. During his last visit he handed over the keys of this house to the old man.

Saying "I have to go you please keep these keys and use this place for people's well-being as for this matter you are the only one whom I can trust."

The old man turned that place into a royal café offering free food to the poors of the village. However because of the manufacturing and the size the café was quite popular and an attraction to the foreigners which is how he earn a huge some of money. He is good and a kind man whom everyone respect for the things which he did for the village. Apart from that the café was the only café of the Younga which also offers private rent rooms for guests and other married couples who want some privacy.

There were plenty of chairs and sofas inside that café. Despite of the sofas old man still prefer the chair. He move to The chair settled far right to the kitchen area, the chair was the only chair of the café who had relaxing fluffy cushion behind as it was specially designed for the oldman so his back won't ache and he feels comfortable.

As old man have taken his seat the visitors too comfort themselves inside the chairs which were placed besides the serving table. Not far from the old man.

The waiter offered them some special and known dishes of the café, which might please them. hopefully they were brutally bashed by hunger, The noodles with goose toppings and hamburger wil come as the exact elixer. Apart from that two there were many others such as chicken, fries, etc.

Their greedy eyes won't stop admiring the food without a single thought they attacked the food, and start eating like they were straving from the ages.

"Wow that was yummy I can't able to blow off this taste from my mind." Trent licked the stains of grilled chicken that he just ate, he is licking his fingers in case he won't leave any evidence of it.

"Yeah! It was great that blend of spice in noodles, is wonderful."

"Look we are not here to talk about blend, spice, or taste." Jason coldly replied and turn to the old man

"So tell us what's the problem?"

The old man face grew pale and with strained eye he begins "From few weeks the children of our village have suspiciously gone missing." The old man coughs slowly and then carry on with his description. "Till now 26 have lost, leaving no clue behind. Since then their parents have been worrying and crying about them, some even dare to find them but won't able to, we even inquired about the matter in nearby towns and villages, also interogate their locals but nothing comes up. "

"That's strange." Jason's eyes were baffled he was puzzled about the problem itself.

"It is that's why I antincipited they are being abducted by someone. " Scratched his white beard he look back at the six.

"You mean kidnapped. " A girl sat besides Jason spoke.

"Is there anything common with these kids?" Holding a whiskey glass Jason eyeballed at him enjoying the red wine's sip.

"Common?" One of the bearded men questioned, his brows were immense and dense, the guy seem to be royal he is from the few who have classy rich, or high attire.

"Yes common." Jason averted to that guy. "Like all children have same age, selected pattern of the area or something like that." He explained still staring at the royal guy but he seem to be puzzled and also have a sense of denial in his eyes, so Jason diverted back to the old man.

"No I am afraid there is no such pattern the kids who were kidnapped have different ages, and they were all from different backgrounds so it's not like the ransom theory has impacted this case nor did any pattern as they have been missing from all areas so no pattern and he randomly kidnapped them but what should gain by abducting them that's what I am wondering? " His grieved eyes brooded on the fellas who are here to solve this mystery of theirs.

"Do they possess any magic or special powers?" He place down the whiskey glass on the serving table.

"No I am afraid in fact in our village magic is forbidden, our ancestors have prohibited the further usage of magic 200 years ago. Since, then no one have used magic and now we can't use it either even if we wanted to. "

"Do you guys have magic?" Blonde girl her impression suggests she has just reached her teens, her eyes glinting at Jason with immense pleasure as it she had high hopes on him and his team.

"Nope, we don't but what we have is not less than magic itself," Jason replied in a cold voice when his eyes catches the glimpse of that girl. "Wait a minute do teens been also targeted?"

The old man nodded in acception. "Yup they too, all the missing children were of 9-16 in age."

"What's your age girl?" His gaze back to the girl , she was standing left to him along with other villagers beside the Royal beard man.

"Hey! Jason don't you think she is too small to be your date?" Trent howls as he thought a childish thing of Jason dating that teen blonde girl. "You are a mad bull and she is still a blooming rose a grooming flower. "

"Shut up Trent he is not dating he is trying to solve the problem." Twill cap guy rose up from his chair and scolding Trent in a screeching voice.

"Ok!" He gave a lousy look to Jason.

"What's with that look." The guy's anger is on the brink of an explosion but when he realizes the quaint faces of surrounding people he rather drops that pathetic argument and eagerly glanced at the girl.

"It's 15."

"Perfect, that would be just a perfect age, for my plan." His cheerful smile is enough to let his fellows know he has something in his mind which might be enough to unravel or rather complicate the mystery.
