Pansy Parkinson - doing it right this time -

I was always interested in Pansy Parkinson, she was different. She seemed more like a lonely and misunderstood girl rather than a villainous one. Once I died because of my chronic illness I thought about pansy and how fortunate she was even as a villain. Then the next time I wake up I am in the body of a young child, a young child named Pansy Parkinson. Disclaimer! I saw people getting confused because of the synopsis, this is a story where the mc (girl) got reborn into Pansy Parkinson (Girl) also there are a lot of chapters ahead on my pa-tre-on be sure to support me of you can the link is in the first chapter :)

Chapter Sixteen

I felt like a broken record playing on repeat. My whole body was still sore from the day before, I was definitely not doing another house tour, I begrudgingly woke up from my slumber and crawled out of bed.

I wake down the quiet stairs, not a single crack to be heard as I fumbled my way down. It was early and father had probably already eaten breakfast or was about to do so. Either way, I did not really find it to be something of importance. I swung my body of the last stair before walking towards the left corridor in the house where Freddie resided.

The bird had been screaming for hours in the night as it rained. I entered the room and signed loudly, the bird was known for its cries but I did not expect for it to be this bad. The bird had calmed down and was now curled up in its own wings. His feathers had slowly started to grow and change to a more dulled colour.

"Freddie, do you think it will rain the rest of the day?" I ask quietly as I feel his soft feathers stroking against my hand. "I sure hope so, it would save me a lot of trouble," I add. Being Pansy was exciting and in a way, a wish come true. I was born in a household where my father was caring but not around enough to check on my daily.

I could do whatever I wanted to do with full freedom. I could practice my magic and learn lessons on my own by reading in the library and I would have a tutor soon. It was all very laid forwards and simplistic. I did not need to lie to keep a secret if I did not want to. I was living a life full of luxury and zero worries. At least zero worries for now as in the future I would not be able to tell.

All I truly had to do was get sorted into Slytherin, make my father proud, enjoy my time at Hogwarts, get married and continue the line and for the rest, I could do whatever. I had no need for specific goals. Some parts of me were scared by how smoothly everything is going and afraid that I would slack on my opportunity to learn more about this world.

Another side, side of my just wants me to enjoy life slowly and peacefully because I was unable to do so last time. I needed to have something to thrive on a goal that I would want to accomplish something that would be hard to do, something challenging.

While lost in thought I heard a plop enter the room. "Mistress! I have been looking for you everywhere, you need to bathe and get dressed to receive your guest soon," Tribble ranted with excitement and stress.

"Sure," I simply say trying to continue thinking about a goal I would like to accomplish. Tribble spent no time-wasting and immediately brought us to the bathroom to allow me to bathe. In the bath, there were lots of little pansy flowers and it surprisingly smelled lovely. the fragrance was soft, yet noticeable.
