17 Chapter Seventeen

"Tribble would you please use these oils and flowers for all of my baths to come," I said softly before dipping my head in the water. The Wizarding World was quite different, they had bath oils and used flowers as fragrances. They would cast spells and create potions to make sure that the fragrance of those oils and flowers, when put in the water, will stick to the person who enters it.

It was a very interesting concept that I had fallen in love with. The fragrance stays for days if you want it to and since the Wizarding World had no such thing as deodorant they used cremes in their baths to make sure they do not sweat, or that their sweat does not smell. It had different effects on everybody some might not sweat for a day, some might sweat but it will smell like freshly cut grass. It truly depended on the person.

I was lucky enough to be the person in between, I would not sweat until the day after and if I did it only held a soft fragrance so it was barely noticeable. Everyone held a specific sent that they loved and always used.

I let myself soak in the bath to relax after all whenever Tribble calls me for a bath she only stresses because I love to stay in there long, so if she calls me early it means that I could in the bath as long as I liked.

--

I was still in a relaxed daze from the bath when Tribble went to pick out a dress for me. It was a grim day, there were grey clouds still high in the sky and barely letting any sunlight in. While in the bath I heard Freddie screech loudly a few times. It was not so nice weather but some part of my enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the rain tripling against the window.

My favourite thing to do when I was little in my previous life was to play race raindrops. It was a game every kid probably played while in the car on the way home from a vacation. It would be raining like crazy and the droplets would slide down the window one by one. I always cheered on both sides as I would feel disappointed when the one I was cheering for lost.

Tribble came out of my major closet with a beautiful dress, unlike the purple dress I wore yesterday with Draco was this one more light. It was super flowy and warm. On the inside of this dress was fur like sheep fur only I did not know the equivalent of sheep fur in magical animals. I never asked what the materials were made out of just to keep a peace of mind about wearing any clothes at all.

The dress had long sleeves and a long skirt. It flowed behind me as I walked and overall looked pretty. Tribble moved on from my outfit and decided it would be best to leave my hair mostly open with a nice and proper updo with a purple Augurery clip holding it together.

"Mistress, Tribble has sensed the guest's arrivals, mistress should hurry down!" Tribble said with stress evident in her voice. Tribble held my hand and snapped her fingers, I felt a little dizzy at the speed of it all but merely shook it off before opening the door.

"Pansy, how are you?" Daphne said smiling, holding her hand was her younger sister Astoria Greengrass. Unlike her sister, she had brown hair but adorable rosy cheeks. She was only a year younger yet I know that I was not the only one when I said I would see her as a baby. I simply felt years older- even though I was - she gave up such a aura that made you want to take care of her.
