The wedding preparations

She was in such a hurry to leave, I don't know why. She didn't said a single word about where she was? how was her experience? Nothing at all.

I wanted to talk to her. Ask her so many questions. Why didn't she talked to me in school ? Why didn't she showed up at the convocation ? And many more.

But she wasn't at all interested. She just wanted to leave as, we asked eachothers the same question and we couldn't decide who would answer first !

She wanted our mothers should decide what we should do; as they were the ones to put us in this condition in the first place !

She left but returned and told me, she could never be a mother.

Well, I guess we are the perfect match for eachothers! My coach had already chopped off my vessels carrying the sperms and so, there was no chance I could have a child of mine ever !

And even if, he hadn't done that, I was alright with anything as long as she was gonna be in my life; as my wife !

She told me not to tell my mother that she couldn't be a mother ever and I asked her not to tell her mother. She said yes and left me there hanging !

I can't loose her after finally having her in my life after so long. I am gonna tell mom that I am ready to marry her; if she ok with it.

And fortunately, it was her answer as well. She was ready to get married to me; if I was OK ! So, it's a YES from both sides !

We thought our mothers were rushing things. We didn't needed to immediately get married. We wanted some time to know eachothers as, we were meeting for the first time !

And even if, we knew somethings about eachothers, it's been a while we met. What if we had changed and don't know about it yet.

But they wanted us to get married and then, we had a whole life ahead of us to know eachothers.

They wanted to keep it as an arranged marriage just the way it started in the first place !

Both the ladies weren't ready to listen to us now, as they had enough of our dramas and lies. They didn't trusted us anymore and so, wanted to get done with the wedding once and for all !

We weren't opposing them; but we just wanted to know eachothers a bit more before getting started with a new life together.

But our mothers weren't taking any shit !

They started looking for a perfect venue for the wedding and they weren't gonna stop unless they got the perfect one.

And so, they decided until they find one, we should get done with our outfits. They decided to go for shopping the next weekend.

I am not sure what am I feeling about all of this.

Sure, I am happy to get together forever with my childhood love. The one for whom I haven't laid my eyes on anyone else, in the hope that, I will be with her someday.

And now that day is approaching; at the speed of a typhoon ! But I am scared as well.

Though, I have loved her since childhood. But we haven't talked in person ever in school. Then after that a lot of time has passed, we still didn't talked. Now that, we are getting married what if, she turns out to be some psyco ?

I don't know her at all ! And she behaved weirdly when we met in the Cafe for the first time.

Let it be, I won't think about it too much. I will handle what will follow.

We went for the shopping and got a jet black suite for me within no time. Then we started hunt for her gown.

Well, she too didn't took long to decide what she wanted. But Rachel created chaos there !

Rachel, my distant cousin. Not actually cousin... she is someone related to my aunt. We never actually got to talk to eachothers as my parents shifted to Russia.

And now that we returned, her mom along with her have shifted in our home. her father had committed suicide. He had took huge loan from the loan sharks and he couldn't repay, so the loan shark possesd the home !

" I liked this gown, mama. "

Aurora chose the floor length cloud white gown. It was very simple yet very elegant gown. It had red lace near the sleeves and it was an eye catching gown.

It was backless with V neckline. I too loved the gown. But Rachel had problem with it !

" No ! Are you out of your mind ? Why would you choose that gown ? It's your weeding day. Your gown must be white ! "

Rachel said.

" Um... But it is white ! It's just a thin lace ! "

Aurora said softly.

" What do you mean, just a thin lace ? It is outstanding because it is there ! Don't choose this. Let me choose for you.... umm... yes !

This one. There you go ! This will suite you the best ! "

Rachel picked up a knee length sparkling gown.

It was as if, the designer had put all the crystals in the world to the single gown !

What the hell !

How could she even suggest that ? My Aurora will look like some disco ball if, she wore that !

I mean, yes I didn't liked it. But if Aurora likes it, I am not gonna say anything.

" Rachel, it's very shiny. It looks like it's made for toddlers. I more over I don't like shiny dresses since my childhood. So, I am sorry but I didn't liked it. "

Aurora said softly denying her.

"Aunty Reah, don't I have this much right that I can tell her what looks nice on her ? Does she thinks I am an outsider and that's why she is denying what I like ? "

Rachel said to my mom.

" Rachel, what are you talking about ? Why would she think like that ? It's just that, her choice is different. "

Mom said trying to make her understand.

"Ok fine. But aunty, don't you think the wedding gown must be complete white ? "

Rachel said.

" Well, actually yes ! But she liked it and so... "

My mom said.

" Ok aunty, I will get the dress Rachel selected. "

Aurora said unwillingly.

" Are you sure ? "

Mom asked her.

" Hmm. "

Aurora said nodding.

I know she didn't liked the dress at all and yet she is buying that just because that stupid Rachel !

Nobody said anything about having a complete white gown when she selected the most gorgeous gown in the shop; before Rachel opened her mouth !

Aurora was silent and distracted the whole day. Even when we had lunch.

Our mothers think they are very slick in their work and we won't get that they sent us ahead so that, we could spend more time together.

Her mom stayed back and sent her with me and asked me to give her company till she returns home.

She was silent the whole ride when I went to drop her off at her home. I turned on the radio to fill up the awkward silence.

I tried to talk to her earlier, but she said she have head ache and she isn't feeling like talking. I asked her if, she wants some ice cream and she immediately said yes.

As if she was craving for it !

I got us chocolate ice cream as she didn't told me what she wanted.

" Oh, you bought chocolate ! "

She said.

" I am sorry, I didn't know what you wanted. I will return it and get what you want. What shall I get for you ? "

I asked.

" Oh no. I am just surprised. I didn't told you and yet you brought my favorite ! "

She said smiling.

She smiled for the first time after she selected the stupid dress.

" You know, you should smile more. It looks beautiful when you wear it. "

I said smiling. She blushed a bit and smiled.

" Do you remember how were we in school ? "

She asked.

" Yeah, young and stupid ! "

I said chuckling and she chuckled along with me.

" Well, I really liked you back then ! "

She said stirring her spoon in her ice cream as she didn't wanted to look in my eyes and my heart started beating fast.

She liked me ? Does that mean, I wasn't the only one to like her ? Why didn't I asked her in the school itself ?

" Um... well... I liked you a lot too. It's just that, I didn't had the courage to come to you and tell you that. You were all serious in school, you actually intimidated me back then ! "

I said chuckling.

" What ? "

She said and started laughing. And there went my heart; to never return back to it's place !

" I wasn't serious ! It's just that nobody talked to me and so, I had no option than keeping quiet.

But you were the most handsome and loved boy in the school. And I was no different from the others.

I liked your look then. Those long blond dyed hair with black roots and the piercings...

God those were just beautiful and they suited you like nothing else ! "

She said. I was shocked to listen that.

" That made you look outstanding from the others. Though everyone thought the piercings made you look like some roadside goon; but your eyes had the most compassionate look and your crooked smile was very cute and attractive; I mean it still is but you know what I mean ! "

She said glancing at me once and when our eyes mate, she looked away blushing.

I was super shocked to listen all those praising from the girl I adored the most and is my childhood crush and current as well !

It overwhelmed me to an unbearable extent. My heart started racing fast and and I couldn't breathe easily. My brain stopped working and I forgot to thank her for the compliments.

My palms were sweating profusely and my ears were burning. This was an out of the world feeling for me. I have never experienced it before.

A burning desire lit inside me and I turned to her. Guessing from her expressions, I guess she is feeling the same but she immediately looked away blushing.

I put my ice-cream away and took a deep breath and leaned towards her; but the seat belt held me back.

My sudden action caught her attention and she looked at me. She noticed me leaned towards her and me caught up by the belt.

She gulped hard and pressed the open button of the belt for me and it opened. I took it off my shoulder and leaned closer to her slowly.

She started breathing shallow and fast and leaned closer as well.

I reached my hand and hesitantly put on her cheek and she gasped at the touch. I slowly caressed her cheek with my thumb and she closed her eyes at the sensations.

I slowly dragged my thumb closer to her lips and she parted them in anticipation. I ran my thumb along her lips and she gasped again.

I couldn't take it anymore and pressed my lips on her and waited for her to react.

She craned her neck for me to kiss her and I lost it.

I cupped her face and kissed her slowly and she kissed me back. She placed her palms on mine and slowly dragged them up along my arms and wrapped them around my neck.

She ran her fingers through my hair and pulled me closer and kissed me passionately.

I dragged my hands along her back and grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to me.

I was so lost and oblivious of the situation we were in that, I almost pulled her onto my lap !

But luckily, before I did that, a car honked hard behind us and I had to move my car aside.

My heart beat was still out of control. I pulled over the car beside the dustbin and we dropped our unfinished and melted ice-cream there and headed for her home.

We were in comfortable silent the whole way back to her home. When we reached, she took off her seat belt and was about to leave but I grabbed her hand.

" You should have chose the gown you liked not that which Rachel liked. You are the one to wear it not her ! "

I said. She sighed sadly.

" But everyone wanted me to select the complete white one ! "

She said sadly.

" Yeah right. You did the right thing. "

I said letting her hand go.

She was surprised and even hurt. I know and she must be ! She is now; but she won't be later !

" Hm. "

She mumbled getting mad and got down the car.

" Bye. "

I said but she didn't responded and went inside her home.

Her mama told me to stay here until she returns. So, I stayed in the car. I didn't went inside as she didn't wanted me to.

If she wanted, she would have asked me to come inside.
