He has a cruel smile on his face, one I remember all too well.
It's the same face he had when he ordered to execute one of the men in front of us, no mercy.
Only, I am so different from who I was then. I was scared and quaking in my boots then, right now, I have his so-called brother at my mercy.
"I don't think I am going to do that," I reply honestly, with a smile of my own.
He looks a bit surprised and then his eyes go to his brother and I can see the despised look on his face. He is wondering how this came to happen. Well, I can tell him but then I don't have time for that. Right now I'm pretty preoccupied with the fact that I am outnumbered and the others have guns. Right now, I am wishing I did carry my gun, after all, that asshole didn't even check me.
"Brother, please do what she says," the man on my hold says and I can see that there is no chance of his brother ever doing anything to save him.
