His chance for vengeance came after fifteen years, when he and a large number of slaves were forced to go through an inhumane gene-altering experiment. A huge majority of the slaves lost their lives, their bodies unable to take the excruciating pain from the experiment. There were only five survivors, which included Alexander and four others, emerging as new beings with supernatural abilities. With their newfound powers, Alexander and the other four unleashed chaos and destruction upon Zenon, wreaking havoc on those who once oppressed them. However, their actions and even their mere existences drew grave consequences, ones that may be far bigger than them. **** This novel contains serious bloodshed and gore, please don’t read if you can’t stomach any of this. Prologue

In a large desert, a tall woman with long, wavy amethyst hair and bright blue eyes floated in the sky, with her hands folded behind her.

A gentle wind swept over the desert, fluttering her hair and revealing her beautiful face.

She was donned in a red top and black pants, and a short white cape draped down her back. Embroidered behind the cape was a golden insignia, which signified her status.

"Hah…" She let out a light sigh, enjoying the gentle breeze and calm purple sky.

"Your majesty." A black haired woman approached her in the sky, hurriedly dropping to one knee. "It is ready."

Floating beside her was a thick metal box, with thin glowing green lines running all around it.

"Okay, that's good. Let's proceed." The blue eyed woman replied, nodding her head slightly.

After giving the box another check, she gently flew back to the ground, with the black haired woman following behind her.

Waiting for them on the ground were twenty other people, each with a similar box hovering beside them.

The moment they set their eyes on the woman, they all went down on one knee, bowing their heads to the ground.

The blue eyed woman simply waved at them, before turning back to the lady standing beside her.

Voom!

"Now, let's sta—" While she was still speaking, an immense shadow suddenly cast over their surroundings, cutting off her words.

The shadow was so large, that it instantly darkened the entire area, making it seem like it was nighttime.

The woman subconsciously looked up to the sky, her eyes widened in shock at what she saw.

Swiishhh!!!

Five giant 'objects' hurtled down from the sky, rapidly descending down on them.

Their large sizes easily blocked off the light, so she couldn't make out their appearances.

However, observing them was the last thing on her mind. With how fast they were falling, it was clear they would be crushed any second from now!

Whoosh!!

"Run away!" She shouted, swiftly flying to the side at rapid speed.

The black haired woman and a few others who could quickly flew along with her, in a bid to avoid getting crushed.

Most of them weren't powerful enough to fly on their own, so all they could do run desperately, while shouting for help from the others.

However, no one stopped to help, only focused on moving as far away as possible.

Wooommm!!!

'I have to fly faster!' The blue eyed woman thought, her brows furrowing into a deep frown.

Although she had been running for a while now, she still hadn't escaped that giant shadow.

If anything, it only seemed to get larger, and she could feel something she hadn't felt in a long time—fear!

Was this how her life would end?! In a stupid desert? And by a stupid death?! There was no way she would let that happen!

Whoosh!

Gritting her teeth in frustration, she forcefully boosted her speed, shooting far ahead of the others.

BOOM!!!

Suddenly, the giant 'objects' crashed into the ground, filling the air with a loud exploding sound.

CRACK!!

A massive crater immediately appeared on the ground, and what followed was a powerful earthquake which shook the whole desert.

The ones who weren't fast enough to escape were crushed into paste, leaving no remains of their bodies.

Cough!

Cough!

The blue eyed woman and the few others who managed to survive coughed violently from the thick dust in the air.

"Damn it…" She muttered, her eyes red from the small stones that got into them.

Her current appearance was nothing like the royal and noble one she had at the start of the expedition, but, no one dared to insult her for it.

Her clothes were very dirty, and her white cape was dirtied with thick brown dust, however, she didn't look out of place.

The other three who managed to escape; the black haired woman and two other men were even in worse shape.

'We really lost a lot of people… that's their fault for being too weak. Useless.' She thought, scoffing under her breath.

Her gaze turned back to the thick black shadows, who appearances were cloaked by the dust, and her eyes narrowed deeply.

Swoosh!!

With a simple wave of her hand, she sent out a gentle wave of wind, clearing out the dust covering them.

"What… the hell are these things?" Her eyes widened in horror, at the sight in front of her.

Contrary to their expectations, what fell down from the sky weren't just 'objects', they were beasts… massive beasts.

They were five in number, each one sporting thick fur, and pitch black stripes which ran all over their bodies.

Jutting out of their mouths were large, sharp fangs, each one the size of an adult human.

In front of these massive beasts, they seemed like mere ants.

"I-I've never seen anything… like this before." The black haired woman mumbled, her body still shivering slightly. "Your majesty…"

"They looked a lot like… 'Yons'… giant ones…" The blue eyed woman floated towards the giant beasts, before suddenly freezing mid-air.

Out of all the creatures lying still on the ground, one caught her attention the most due to how different it seemed compared to the others.

Unlike the others, its fur had a thick red colour, like it was died in blood… and the stripes around its body were a bit darker.

'I don't sense any life from any of them… I guess that's a good thing.' She thought, subconsciously heaving a sigh of relief.

Even from where she stood, she could sense the immense power oozing from the beasts.

She couldn't imaging how terrifying it would be if they had to fight against something… like that.

"Contact the queen Yor'reil, tell her something huge just dropped… literally." She said, turning to the black haired woman beside her.

"Yes, your majesty." Yor'reil replied, instantly going down on one knee.
