Chapter 71

He started breaking down and eventually fell to the floor.

"You said that it was for uncle might. What does it do anyways?" The professor then looked up at her then looked back down. "It was suppose to boost his strength back up. But when I heard that he was already healed, I still thought that it could be of good use to other people."

Melissa stared her father down. "Wait. You said that they were risking their lives? For what? The villians are fake. I hired them to steal the device so that it wouldnt make me seem suspicious."

Melissa eyes widend then looked at me. The professor then kept explaining. "I asked my higher ups to approve of the device but they declined me. They took the quirk amplification device away and locked it in here. That's why I hired fake villians to retrieve it."

Melissa looked back and stared at her father. "Those 'villians' shouldn't be hurting anyone" When the professor said that, someone started clapping from behind him.

"David shield. A real idiot." A man with red hair came out of the shadows. The professor looked at him and said "You! Why did you hurt people!? You were suppose to steal the device without causing problems!" The man smirked at him then said "Do you actually think that we were fake villians? You really are an idiot."

After he said that, he touched the ground and metal started coming up. "We still need you david so your coming with us." He then sent metal at him. "Dad! Noo!" Shouted melissa.

I was done healing now and so I acted. I disappeared and reappeared in front of the professor. The metal snattched onto me and slung me away into a wall.

It then went towards david. I leapt out of the crater and decided to go for wolfram. I was on his right and was about to punch him when he made a wall of steel. My fist dented the metal but didnt pierce it.

"So your that kid? The one who could survive a hit from a grenade." I smirked and disappeared. I reappeared in front of david. "Th-Thank you." He stared at my back while saying that. "David shield. Your a criminal you know."

A huge piece of metal that looked like a drill was sent at me. It was aimed at my heart. While it was about to pierce me, I put my left hand out and the drill drilled into it.

I then used my right hand and caught the drill by the side. I then proceeded squeezed it. The drill cracked and broke into a million price of metal. "Your strong kid." He laughed like a maniac and created multiple drills of metal.

They came at me from all sides. I snikered and grabbed the front of the professors shirt. I then threw him next to melissa. The drills were an inch away from my skin and proceeded to pierce me.

"Kenji!" I could hear melissa screaming from behind me. "Your tough kid. But it ends here." The drills went into my body. More drills came off of those drills and started wrapping my body up in an armor.

The metal squeezed onto my skin and I fell to the ground. He then created multiple walls of metal and trapped me.

"Now that hes done for.." The man then pulled out a gun and shot david in the leg. The bullet pierced his leg bone and he screamed out in pain. "Dad!" Melissa tried to come up to him but was quickly stopped by a piece of metal to her head.

It didnt hit her hard but it still knocked her away. "You sit back little lady. I'm only after your father." Wolfram then created a metal coffin and put david inside of it.

He then put his finger up to his ear. "Start the heli." He then started walking to some stairs. The coffin followed behind him.

"Let's get out of here." Wolfram was boarding a helicopter that was on the roof of the huge tower. "Yes sir!" The man then started taking off. "David. Your gonna make me a ton of these when we escape from here. Got it?" Wolfram held a gun up to his head.

David only stared at him. "Why so silent? Are you finally regretting what you did? You put some random kids lives on the line and hell, you even got one killed." David eyes widend when he heard that last part.

"But it's fine. The kid was destined to die if he fought against me." Wolfram then started laughing.

...Before wolfram got on the helicopter.

I was trapped in layers of metal. It was still squeezing down on my skin but that's not the problem here. The real problem was that I was now remembering that Hermes only drew 15 cards instead of 16

That deceitful god. I sighed then started thinking of a way out of here.

I then started getting up. No literally. I just got up. I broke out of the metal like a hot knife cutting through butter. I raised out of the layers of metal and looked around.

He was gone with the professor and only melissa was left in the room. I sighed and started walking over to her.

While I did, I looked down at my body. All my guts were spilling out. "That could have been traumatizing." I walked back to where I was and hid behind a metal wall. I healed myself instantly and left the wall.

"Hey." I tapped her cheek. "Wake up." I kept tapping her cheek. She then made a weird noise and got up. She rubbed her eyes and looked at me. "Ken-ji~" She has tears in her eyes and was staring directly into my pupil.

She then jumped on me and held tightly. She didn't say anything and continued hugging me. "Melissa. You have to go warn the others." She took her head out of my chest and stared at me. "Dont you mean, we?" I stared at her for a moment and shook my head no.

"I will be a pretty bad hero if I let them escape. Especially with your dad." Her eyes widened when I said that. She stared at me for a while then said..

"You're a good hero Kenji. So please, save my dad and defeat that bad guy."

She got off me and started running towards the steps. I smiled for a moment then frowned. I looked up at the roof and stared.

"I have to hurry." My feet sunk into the ground and I shot up. I went through multiple ceiling and finally arrived outside.

A helicopter was flying off when I came out of the ground. I kept going and arrived under the helicopter. I grabbed the foot rail and hung onto it.

"What!" Wolfram looked over the edge and saw me hanging. "How did you..!?"

He shook his head and pulled out a gun. He aimed it at my head and shot it.

The bullet was traveling in slow motion for me. I quickly swung to the other rail that was on David's side and carried my way into the helicopter. I grabbed david by the shirt and ran across the small isle.

When I did, I used my free hand and knocked the pilot out. I passed my wolfram and jumped out the helicopter. I tucked the professor into my chest and we fell down.

We crashed into the grounds at fast speeds. The dust flew up and got everywhere. "Man that was-" The helicopter then crashed into the ground. David finally process what happened and said

"You are..?" He stared at me. "You have to live professor so you better not die." I then tossed him to side and stood up.

"Kid. You dont know when to give up huh." He emerged from the huge fire with a helmet on. "Just finish me off for good next time." He stared at me then put his hands up.

Metal started coming out of the ground and formed into a ball. "I will finish you off this time!" He then motioned his hands at me and the ball came hurling.

I stared at it and smirked. "You can come out now." When I said that, a green bolt of lightning flashed by my face and went to the metal ball. It flew throught it and destroyed it instantly.

The lighting then came back around and arrived next to me. "Sorry Kenji. We had to deal with some more people." I turned my head and looked at him. "Yea okay." He was watching since the helicopter exploded.

"So theres another person aswell hun?" Blocks of metal then started coming out of the ground. "Well that's fine!" He waved his hand down at us while screaming.

I tapped izukus back and and he nodded. 2 metal blocks soon came rushing at us. I stood in front of izuku and caught the first one. Another one then came behind that one and it kept repeating.

I sunk into the ground but I still managed. Izuku did a backflip while going in a backwards motion(duh) and then sped at me. I put my head down and he flew into all the blocks of metal.

They got destroyed instantly and he came out of it. He then grabbed onto my wrist with black whip and swung me forwards. I shot passed izuku and came face to face with wolfram.

His eyes widened for a second and he put up a metal wall with multiple layers in front of me. I punched at the walls and dented it severely. I didnt go through them though.

When he realized that I didn't go through them, he made a long piece of concentrated metal and hit me to the ground. I caught it barely and was sent to the grounds at fast speeds.

I turned my head a little and saw all my classmates watching. I looked back with the metal right in my face and sighed. I was a couple of feet away from the ground now.

I landed on the ground and immediately sunk in. I caught the metal with me face and hands and kept pushing it back. The pressure was crazy but it was still weak compared to the pressur2 from when I faught nine

I eventually threw it back at wolfram who was surprised. It came at him but he just split it which made it go behind him.

When it did, izuku appeared and used the force of his punch to send it back at wolfram. The metal flew into his back and caused severe damage to him.

Izuku then landed back on the ground with me. "Are you ok kenji?" I looked at him and nodded.

My face and hands were dyed red with blood so I guess that's why he asked. "He's going to attack again." He nodded and got ready.

We looked at wolfram and his eyes were turning blue. He then put his hand up and all the pieces of metal flew up in the sky. It came together and formed a huge cube. "This whole tower will fall if that connects with the ground."

I nodded at him and got ready. "Take this!!" He screamed out and the metal came at us. Izuku whole body started being covered with green lightning. His eyes glowed just like when we were fighting nine.

He was ready now. We both disappeared with izuku leaving a green trail. We got in front of the huge cube that was coming down and we both punched at it.

Izuku turned into a green ball and went through his side of it while I was still penetrating it. I eventually pierced it and came through it.

There was too much metal for me to fully get through so I had to use more power.

That might have been a mistake tho.

I increased my power and the whole block of metal exploded into pieces. This was bad. Izuku was damaged by this and he flew out of the block of metal. He regained himself and looked at me. I motioned my eyes to our classmates and he nodded.

Izuku disappeared and reappeared in front of out classmates and stood there. Huge chunks of metal came down and he had to stop them from hurting our classmates. He got into a stance and used black whip. He caught most of them and even the ones that were flying off the building.

He had to stop some with his brute strength as 23 tentacles wasn't enough. He punched the rest away and kneeled down. He then started breathing hard.

I, on the other hand was zooming at wolfram. He sent multiple pieces of metal at me but I dodge and destroyed them. He then had an idea and covered me with metal. He foremed a metal box around me and peirce me with metal needles from the ground.

I could hear my classmates screaming out my name. "Your finished boy!" As he said that, I broke out of the metal box. His eyes widened and i shot up in front of him.

"W-What are you!? A-A monster!?" I smiled at him while cocking my fist back.

"I'm no monster. I'm just someone who wants to be a hero."

I sunk my fist into his face. There was a slight pause before he got sent flying into the ground at light speed. He crashed into the ground and created a massive crater. The building started to wobble a bit when he did.

Dust and metal flew up into the air. I landed on the ground next to him and stared at him. I picked him up by the neck and started laughing. I woke him up with a skill and then picked up a piece of metal.

"You know what's about to happen right?" I then pointed to my body, which had hole marks from being drilled.

His eyes widened and he stared at me. "..o" He said something but I couldnt hear him. "N-oo." I smirked and struck him all over with the piece of metal. There was no screams because of a skill but he did feel twice the pain.

He wasnt going to pass out either. He was going to enjoy this moment to the fullest. He kept squirming and I kept stabbing. "There. Now we match!" He didnt like the sudden change in attitude. I stopped checking his for a moment and said "Do you have any last words?" He didnt move or say anything.

"...." I put my face closer to his and stared him in the eye. He saw a sea of flames in my eyes ans eventually saw himself.

Murder, rape, assualt. Hes done it all.

He saw his hell and stopped moving. He was just a body of bones now.

I then walked over to the edge of the building. I said something and threw him. His lifeless body came back alive but he didnt stay alive for long.

"That was amazing guys!" I was now over by my classmates. "I'm sorry guys. I put you in danger while fighting." I put my head down and they looked at me.

With my quirk alone, I thought that I would be able to break through the metal. I was wrong tho and I increased my strength a little too much.

"Kenji it's okay. You didnt mean us any harm and besides. Midoriya here saved us." I looked up and they were all smiling. "Thank you guys." I smiled at them and fell to the floor.

I wasnt going to pass out this time. I was just tired. I wanted to go home now and sleep forever. "Kenji. I heard what you did for melissa. Are you sure your fine." I looked up at izuku.

"Now you ask this?" He smiled and rubbed his head. "Yea I'm fine tho. A grenade wont hurt me." They laughed a little when I said that.

"Young midoriya! Young skies!" All might then appeared from no where. "Are you guys okay?" We all stared at him.

"Where were you?" He looked at me and said "I had to go save all the citizens. Those villians took some hostage so I had to go rescue them.

We all looked at him and nodded.

What a liar. Just say that you ran out of buff and was watching the whole thing.

"Oh david." I told all might about what happened and he was talking with him now.

"I'm sorry toshi. I just wanted to fix you." The professor seemed like he was dying for some reason. "I told you my situation david. Why did you still go through with it?" David stared at all might and said "I know you said that you were fixed to your prime but.. I-I just wanted you to stay the symbol of peace for a little longer."

All might eyes widened and he stared at him. That wasnt the same excuse he gave me earlier.

They kept talking for a while so I decided to stop listening. "So Um Kenji? How long are you going to stay like this?" I was lying down on melissa legs now. "How long did I carry you for again?"

She blushed a little and looked up. Izuku also happened to convince uraraka to let him lay down on her lap. "Uh Kenji. Did you know that they were there?" I looked to where he was pointing.

There was helicopter with people in it. They had a huge camera sticking out the side of it. "Well I guess we're debuting a little early now then."

I saw them mid fight but didnt say anything. The dust and metal blocked them from seeing the last part of the battle by the way so it's fine.
