Chapter 11 Alfred Pennyworth and Iruka Umino

Since Doctor Strange saw no other choice he walked through that door, the second he walked through that door it was like a part of himself was seemingly changed, moulded into something else, his connection to the dark force was cut yet he didn't feel any sense of powerlessness at all.

And now he stood here, looking at Augustus and the throne room.

"Why do I still feel like I can use my arcane magic?" Steven asked Augustus suddenly.

Augustus who sat on the throne seemed to have glanced away for a second and looked at seemingly nothing for a few seconds before Augustus's smile widened even more.

"It's because your Arcane Magic has adapted to this world in the form of a devil fruit, something you fully control" Augustus replied when he glanced back at Steven.

"Do you know what a devil fruit is?" Augustus asked.

A piece of information he had received about this world immediately came to his mind and Steven nodded.

"Your time gem, unfortunately, won't work in this world" Augustus suddenly said.

A sense of shock hit Steven for a few seconds stunning him but soon he calmly nodded.

If Augustus could bring him from a completely different universe or even a Multiverse, it wouldn't be a big shocker if Augustus also knew about the time gem.

A trace of sadness still flashed through Stevens's eyes when he looked at the dull eye of agamotto on his chest.

'Ever since the start of his journey as the Supreme sorcerer, his main duty was to guard this stone yet now, it sat on the chest as just an ordinary piece of rock'

"find Grayes an.." As Augustus was about to say something more he suddenly stopped.

He seemed to have realized something before he shook his head to himself.

Augustus seemed to look at something for a few seconds again before two golden gates appeared.

Steven quickly remembered these familiar gates.

A few seconds passed before two men stepped out of these gates

One wore a black butler tux, grey hair and a clean yet aged face, while another stepped out a healthy-looking man with tan skin his brown hair tied to the back, a headband with a leaf symbol on it and a flak jacket.

The two looked around for a few seconds, they glanced at Augustus and Steven for a few seconds before the two stepped forward and bowed to Augustus.

"I greet Your Majesty," the man in the butler tuxedo said.

While the man with the headband also greeted Augustus.

"Welcome to this world Alfred and Iruka, I hope you serve me and my kingdom well" Augustus said with a smile.

"Alfred, from now on you will support the current chief strategist of the kingdom in managing affairs of the kingdom, Iruka you will establish schools and raise the literacy levels of this kingdom"

"Although the people in this Kingdom don't have chakra in their bodies so they can't learn ninja skills but that's not the main focus, the main focus is raising the literacy rate of the kingdom, educating them about the world, about language about morals, rules of the kingdom that I will soon establish, we will leave it off there for now as basic education," Augustus said.

"Once the food comes in we will begin recruiting people for the education and healthcare sector using your abilities Doctor" Augustus said as he looked at Steven who simply nodded.

"All three of you go meet Grayes and tell him about your assigned tasks, he must be expecting you" Augustus concluded before he waved for the three of them to leave.

Seeing that they had already been assigned tasks they began to leave the throne room to meet Grayes.

'Alfred should help loosen the burden on Grayes' Augustus thought as he saw the three of them leave the room.

He sat there for a few minutes in silence before he stood up and went outside and asked the guard outside to get him the newspapers for the past month.

It was about time he discovered what timeline he was on.

'With Doctor Strange here, it is going to be an easy task reaching and transporting the staff for healthcare and education sectors'.

Augustus thought to himself as he planned to let Doctor Strange travel to The Drum Island first to recruit doctor Kureha and Tony Chopper and if possible go to Ohara to recruit scholars.

Soon the guard made his way back with a stack of newspapers and handed it to Augustus

Augustus took these Newspapers and headed inside the throne room and began the rather tedious task of sifting through them all.

It took him about an hour before he was done.

Putting all of the newspapers to the side of the throne, Augustus let out an exhausted breath.

'Luffy has set out, but it seems he is only at the beginning of his adventure as he has just defeated Arlong'

'Ohara has long been destroyed, the only remnants of it, is Nico Robin whose location to the rest of the world is unknown'

Augustus glanced at a picture on one of the newspapers and felt a light bulb go off.

He grabbed the paper and quickly walked out of the throne room and met one of the Guards.

"Take me to Chief Strategist Grayes"

Augustus said to the guard outside who nodded and quickly led Augustus away.

They walked and walked until they arrived at the War room and from the inside an extremely tired voice was heard speaking.

'It's been a long day'

The door was knocked and Augustus wanting to enter was announced.

The noise inside stopped before Grayes who was inside asked Augustus to enter.

Opening the door, on the wide table there were loads of papers filled with accounting tables and other data.

Meanwhile, Grayes sat on the centre chair with two Den Den Mushi phones near him.

His white hair was rather messy and dark circles were under his eyes.

Alfred stood behind Grayes silently observing everything Grayes had been doing.

"Grayes where is Doctor Strange?" Augustus asked Grayes.

"Your Majesty let me contact him," Grayes said as he began dialling a number on the den den mushi.

The phone rang for a few seconds before it was picked up and Grayes handed the phone to Augustus.

"Come to the War room," Grayes said to Strange.

"Yes, Your Majesty" Strange simply responded as he recognised the voice of Augustus almost instantly before he cut the connection.

Augustus then glanced at Alfred with an inquisitive gaze.

"Your Majesty I have understood the responsibilities of Sir Grayes, perhaps another two days of observation and I will be able to effectively assist Sir Grayes" Alfred said with a slight bow to which Augustus simply nodded.

Soon a circular portal with golden sparks around its circumference appeared.

"So how is it going so far?" Augustus asked looking at Steven who nodded and began answering.

"So far there hasn't been much progress as most people don't understand what I tell them and their physiques are too weak making them susceptible to sickness so I have cast magic spells to protect them as many of them as I can to protect them until they can eat some food again and make their internal body more healthy.

The people in this world seem to have a unique physique better than normal humans and have higher regeneration so there will not be much lasting damage"
