Orion's Belt

Just 2 days after the incident, they had finally reached land. It was the same as the last island other than it was two times the size.

"This should be better, right?" He said jokingly while looking at her.

"Don't look at me like I was the one insisting on leaving for another island." She responded half-jokingly.

It's been a hard 2 days, Alexander had been terrified of sleeping, and if he fell asleep, it was for just an hour or two. Nojiko had been the same if Alexander didn't do everything to get her to sleep as he didn't know how this would affect their kid and her.

As it was better, he suffered these days than her. So after docking the ship, they went scouting a little before starting to unpack. Unfortunately, they didn't find any Devil Fruits this time.

The new island distracted them for a while, but it didn't take them long to remember it all again. In some way, it all felt intentional what they were doing to them.

One whole week passed by, and after many sleepless nights for Alexander, he finally found the security and comfort to sleep again.

Things couldn't have felt better until they didn't, as it didn't take long before another problem showed up.

One day Alexander just started feeling agitated and restless as if his body was telling him to look out, but as far as the eye could see, there was nothing out there.

It was almost like last time, but worse. This time it was something bigger, and it was. Alexander and Nojiko were practicing outside in the morning, and Alexander took a quick glimpse at the horizon and immediately readied his launcher.

Coming from the East was 3 medium ships and 1 large. As he continued to look around them, he noticed that the West and North had the same.

He quickly launched Earth Eagle and borrowed its senses and sight to look closer at the ships coming their way.

As he looked at every large ship, his fear increased even more as he could see that they had at least one person on the same level as Morai.

As if that wasn't enough, while looking at all the incoming ships and trying to figure out what to do, Alexander felt the same presence that had attacked them over a week ago above them.

With no hesitation, Alexander sent Earth Eagle again up in the air to take it on while also launching Vulcan Horuseus.

"Horuseus, quickly set up your Mystic Zone barrier around the island." with no hesitation, Horuseus quickly started setting up the barrier.

It didn't take long for the sky to release another explosion as Earth Eagle again deflected another bomb while the ships started getting closer.

Thinking of something, Alexander launched Variares, and the sky got covered with a dark cloud. Alexander told Variares to cover as much of the sky as possible with thunder clouds.

As the ships started getting closer, they had to go under the thunder clouds, and the moment every ship was under the thunder cloud. Alexander asked Variares to use every ounce of his power to strike every ship with lightning.

With no questions, Variares started shining brightly with lightning, and the sky with thunder clouds lit up with a powerful yellow glow, and so 12 massive lightning bolts struck down on the ships with everything Variares had.

The ships had no chance to survive the strength of Variares lightning strikes and just got destroyed and left nothing behind.

Variares looked weak after using everything it had and fell on one knee and started breathing heavily.

It seemed like everything was over, but just as he thought that another explosion came from the sky.

Feeling annoyed and mentally exhausted that it wasn't over yet, Alexander asked Variares and Horuseus to protect Nojiko until he came back.

Nojiko wanted to follow him, but she knew that she couldn't as she wasn't just risking her life but the other life in her.

With that Earth Eagle quickly descended from the sky, and Alexander jumped on its back and hastily went up again.

When Alexander and Earth Eagle reached the sky, they looked around, attempting to find the plane-sized pterodactyl, but it was nowhere.

It wasn't until Alexander felt something odd and quickly reacted with Earth Eagle, and dodged that they spotted the pterodactyl again. The pterodactyl was more menacing up close than looking from a distance.

The pterodactyl started chasing them, and even with its immense size, it still was fast, but not nearly as fast as Earth Eagle.

Unable to see a way to take down the pterodactyl while on Earth Eagle's back, he had no choice but to try using something else.

Reaching out for a holster on his belt, he grabbed the Bey and put it on his launcher.

"I need your help Phantom Orion.." saying that he used all he had to launch it towards the pterodactyl.

As he started pulling, he began hearing chains getting destroyed one by one as he was getting closer to launching Phantom Orion.

Finally, the last chain broke down, and he launched Phantom Orion, and above them, a constellation formed. It was Orion's Belt, and as the constellation shone brightly, a red and black energy started forming from the Bey.

When the red and black energy had finally stopped forming, a face appeared with just big red eyes and razor-sharp teeth like a beast. Its size was just slightly smaller than the pterodactyl itself.

The pterodactyl saw the new enemy and stopped chasing Alexander and Earth Eagle. When it was close to Phantom Orion, it attacked, but that did nothing as the pterodactyl phased right through it.

As the pterodactyl was confused, Alexander took the chance to attack.

"Phantom Orion, use Beenard's Loop." the Orion's Belt constellation that shone above them started emitting even brighter light, and Phantom Orion grew in size to match the massive pterodactyl.

When it reached the pterodactyl size, it quickly went towards it and swallowed it whole. Just as it had devoured it, Alexander remembered something about its special attack and quickly got away.

Moments later, it exploded as Alexander looked towards the explosion. He saw the massive pterodactyl with burn marks everywhere and no visible movements falling towards the sea.

Even if Phantom Orion had exploded, Alexander still saw it safe and sound floating, just where it had exploded. He looked towards Phantom Orion and thanked it, then recalled it.

With Earth Eagle, they flew down again to Nojiko and the others. He arrived and noticed that nothing had happened to them.

Variares seemed to be doing better, which calmed Alexander a bit. The moment Alexander got on the ground, he went to Nojiko and embarrassed her, and as he did that, he passed out.

Nojiko was frightened when he just passed out like that, but Earth Eagle let out a low cry to try and tell her that it was all right.
