6 A mysterious vision

*Boom!*

A sudden explosion exploded inside the building where Lawliet and Diamante are fighting.

"What happened?" Ask's Law, as he didn't see what happened in the fight, as Diamante's big body blocked his view from the doors outside.

Black smoke filled the building. Law ran inside with Baby 5, as Buffalo bought his own Ice cream so it was only the two of them here.

When they're inside covering their faces, they saw the unconscious Diamante with burned face.

Immediately, Law rush to Diamante's side and check the the unconscious Goliath.

While checking, Law also noticed the disappearance of Lawliet, so he immediately concluded that the explosion is Lawliet's doing.

'That guy is damned dangerous!' He thought, as he looked at the body of Diamante.

He's been with the crew for almost a year by now, and he's also with them through many fights. He knows how strong Diamante is, how hard to knock this guy out.

Even though he looks like a joke, Diamante is a great swordsman, with a great ability to make everything he touches became fabric. He saw how this guy is able to slaughter hundreds of Pirates without breaking a sweat, and how this guy is able to tank many hits.

'How did he managed to knock him out?' He thought, as he checked Diamante's body opening his eyes, nose and mouth.

*Sigh!*

'That guy is dead.' He thought, knowing that Diamante is somewhat alive.

But his hairs are burned, his brows, and even the hair Inside his nose.

Law is certain that once Diamante woke up and see his current appearance, he will personally killed the guy for revenge.

'Well, actually it's likely his fault ending like this. Doflamingo wanted to check and grab the guy to him because he saw some potential to the guy. Yet he pushed the guy to fight him ending like this.'

"Yup, It's your fault." Law muttered, looking at Diamante with indifference gaze.

Baby 5 besides him, just looks at him with a questioning look.

"Baby 5, run back to the base and tell the others that the guy managed to defeat Diamante. Tell them that it will take at least an hour or more for Diamante to wake up, so tell them to pick him here. I will wait here, and wait for them. Go." He ordered.

Baby 5, hearing Law's order immediately rush to the door, running back to the port with happiness painted on her face.

'He needs me.' Baby 5 thought, as she ran back to their base.

On the other hand. In the hills near the building where Lawliet lives.

Walking weakly, Lawliet gritted he's teeth as he tried to bear the pain he feels on his hand.

It's the point of explosion. He didn't think about it before when he turned on the taser.

He thought that it will only cause a small explosion enough to knock Diamante out.

But it seems like he's wrong. His hands are burned and roasted. Its skin is almost gone, liters of blood is crawling out, and some of his finger bones are already peeking.

"Aghhh!!!" He roared in pain, as it been hit by the blowing wind, which feels like a running acid too him.

"Y-you need to escape, y-you shouldn't sleep here." He said to himself as he feels his mind starting to get foggy.

Using his left hand, he grabbed something on his pocket. It's a vial with blue liquid inside.

It's the Strength enhancing ampule that he made akin to a supersoldier serum. But this thing that he made is not permanent, it will simply amplify one's strength by three or five times depending on the user body.

It works by simply boosting one's metabolism, and activating some of the unused part of the user's muscle and part of his brain to boosts the instinct.

But of course it's just a prototype. This one sometimes fails and will just give you a massive headache.

But right now he's willing to gamble, either to get caught or escape and runned to the Grandline. North Blue is already the territory of Doflamingo, so he's not willing to stay on this Blue anymore.

Without even knowing if the Donxiote Pirates is really here for him because he's Batman, or not.

Or, even thinking what he possibly did, that's worth the time for Doflamingo.

Sometimes being so overly cautious, paranoid, and cowardly doesn't lead in good pathway in life. Such as what Lawliet is doing now.

"Ahhh!" He throwed the empty glass vial, and started to walk again.

But whatever he thinks or hopes to happen after drinking that ampule, it didn't happen.

The world quickly lose it's light.

'Shit!' He cursed before he lose he's conscious.

Somewhere in the Port.

Inside a dark building, a door suddenly shut opened.

*Bam!*

The light outside invaded the building where it revealed several people inside who have frown on their face, looking towards the little girl who opened the door shut open.

*Huff!*

"Diamante..."

*Huff!*

*Huff!*

"Has been defeated!" Baby 5 tiredly said, huffing for air now and then.

"What!!?"

"Impossible!!"

"Where is he!!" Shout of the people inside consecutively.

While Doflamingo in the dark corner, sitting on a noble chair have a grim smile on his face.

'Furfurfurufur! Interesting.'

Time passed, Lawliet slowly opened his eyes, and he found himself inside of a dark room.

Chain's are hanging everywhere, the walls the floor everywhere have bloodstains on it.

He tried to move, but he felt weak and powerless.

*Cling!*

*Cling!*

He looked at his hand, and saw that he is shackled. His arms are cuffed, and so are his legs. He even feels a thick collar hanging around his neck.

"W-what the-- W-where am I?" He asks, as he tried to broke free from his shackles.

"Big Bro?" A weak, and sweet but melancholic voice calls.

He looks at where it's coming from, and saw a thin little girl with white long hair that covers her face shackled in multiple chains in front of him.

"Big Bro!" She called again.

Lawliet is confused at this, he felt like he knows the girl yet, he was sure he doesn't knows her.

Lawliet tried to open his mouth to ask the girl. But when Lawliet tried to communicate with her, he suddenly felt a sudden strong pull that dragged him out of that room, phasing through the shackles, the walls, the world, and even phasing through dimensions.

In a medical bed in a clinic like room filled with hospital beds, Lawliet suddenly woke up and rose up from his bed

*Huff!*

Breathing heavily, he look at his arms.

Unshackled.

He then tried to feel his neck if there was some collar on it.

Nothing.

Tears suddenly fall through his cheeks. He brushed it, but it keeps falling.

His surroundings began to get quiet, and the sound of his own heartbeat began to echo on his ears.

*Thump!*

*Thump!*

*Thump!*

He is scared.

He don't know what is that place that he saw, but it brings great fear towards him.

That place is familiar yet unfamiliar to him.

Like how church people describe to you Hell and Heaven. You've never been in both places but you know what they look, or may look like.

Lawliet is just quite different. He feels the place is so very familiar to him, yet he doesn't remember anything about it, or he has no memory about it.

The heavy air, the dread atmosphere, and the grim view of the place.

He's body is subconsciously trembling, just remembering the place.

He tried to calm himself. And when he did, he remembered the girl who called him 'Big bro'.

'Who is she?' He thought.

Then again he felt that the girl is familiar yet unfamiliar to him.

Then a dread feeling rose from inside him.

The feeling of loss.

The familiar feeling that once clouded him in his past life. Where he became a bit distant and cautious to the others even his family.

'No, no, not this feeling again!' He thought, as it brings memories from the past that he wants to forget.

He brushed the tears off of his face, but it kept falling.

He doesn't want this, he doesn't want to remember, he wants erase this feeling.

But he can't.

He succumbed to it.

But, then a warm embrace covered him.

He looked at it and saw Baby 5, hugging him, looking at him with worry.

He have a stun look, but he didn't stop her.

In some way it's, helping him. Her hug somehow helps to alleviate the pain flooding him.

Being alone in these months with no one to talk and socialize with, has taken a lot of phsychological damage to him without him knowing.

Making him prone in any mental stress just like what he's feeling right now.

Humans need to socialize to live healthy.

Even if it's an evil person, or a saint they need someone to talk to or they will go crazy.

Somehow, the hug of Baby 5 helped Lawliet. The feeling of loss, anxiety, stress began to weaken, and Lawliet's mind slowly became ckear.

In Baby 5 point of view. She is tasked to watch Lawliet and report to the others once he woke up.

'But he's strong, he managed to defeat Diamante!' She wants to retaliate this, but the feeling of someone needing him push that thing out of his mind and immediately agreed to guard Lawliet.

The feeling of being needed by everyone brings great happiness to her, so she's more happy than just scared right now.

But when the guy suddenly woke up, she remembered her fear, and she quickly walked out to sneak and report this to the others.

But when she looked back, he saw the guy's expression. The dread and fear on his face made her stop on going.

She saw it, how this guy is in need of someone right now.

'I can help him! he needs me!' She thought.

Then she walks towards him.

Is she afraid? Yes, she is. Is she going to stop? No, she won't. If she can be useful, she is willing to even take her life to be helpful to others.

When she's already near him, she embrace him. The guy look at him in shock and surprised, but he didn't stop her.

Then the guy's face changed to somewhat saying he is grateful to her.

'He needs me!' She thought.

Doflamingo office.

In a dark room, sitting on a throne like chair. Doflamingo will be seen holding a double barrel shotgun, checking every nook and cranny of such master piece.

In front of him is a table, full of things such as shotgun ammo, makeshift grenade, smoke bomb, vial with blue liquid, and of course a broken taser.

There's many more actually besides it.

"Hmmm... Interesting!" Doflamingo opened the shotgun, and he's amaze by the complications of such weapon.

"It seems like it doesn't use a lead bullet."

He look at the three shotgun bullet on his table, that has a cylindrical shape, with a white golden outer shell.

He grabs the two out of three, and puts those bullets right inside the shotguns chamber. Then he closed it.

*Click!*

Holding it with his right hand, he aimed the shotgun through his window towards the bird that looking at him just outside his window.

He pulled the trigger.

*Bang!*

And again.

*Bang!*

A loud gun shot roared inside the room. Multiple shotgun wounds will be seen on the window glass and on the near wall.

The bird? It just left bird blood, and feathers. It's already dead and fall to the ground.

Outside the room where Doflamingo is, sounds of footsteps will be heard running.

The door to the room shut opened.

"Young Lord, are you alright?" Asks Trebol, peeking through the door, with Machvise and Giolla besides him.

"It's all right, it's just me." Doflamingo replied, opening the chamber of the shotgun, automatically ejecting the two empty smoking shells inside it.

"Really fascinating." He muttered looking at the chamber of the shotgun again.

"Uhm... Boss! The kid is awake." Giolla said looking at Doflamingo with fear and respect on her eyes.

"Hmm? Good. Then, called the others. We have to celebrate, for our new crewmate." He said, smiling widely.

Ok this is 2000 words, I don't know if I should write it more longer than this. You people decide.

And also, I saw some people say that this is cringe, well this is cringe I admit. But I just want to tell that this fan-fic is not about the MC being a Batman in One Piece, it's about the MC having the knowledge of different technologies in every known and unknown Universes in the world of One Piece.

And do you people hate the idea of the MC having a mental disability (Which I don't even consider a disability) because I will never change it, so either you deal with it, or drop this.

Also, I did this fan-fic on a whim so I have no actual plot and just a few ideas. I also lost all of my chapter reserves, and this is the last.

So consider the slow updates. And me being busy as a student, and a non English native speaker, it will take, a lot of time.
