Chapter 24

(I just deleted a lot of the uploads I made since they were about why there were no chapters and stuff, they were kind of pointless now since they were old and they just made it annoying while reading, I will probably do a delete of them every few days, so if anyone made a comment, it was sadly deleted, I remember 2 of them, sorry about them being deleted but the chapters were taking a lot of space, anyway, I will let you go to the chapter and I hope you enjoy.

Also, before I forget, I deleted the first chapter of my reaction fan fic since the chapter was there just because I wanted to upload something, so if anyone read it, tell me on this comment if you're interested in reading more of it since it is a lot of work those reaction fan fictions, I will probably not work on it a lot and will upload either once in a while or just finish them all and start uploading them.)

Back to the deathbringers hideout.

There were fights going on all over the place, from lower rank deathbringers and cultivators to the leaders of the division.

'Damn it'

Thought Lin Xue while looking at her opponent.

In front of her was one of the strongest cultivators in the phoenix kingdom.

The ice goddess, Chen Ya.

"We are dead"

Looking to her side, she saw Wong Kai, he looked like he already gave up.

This calmed her down a bit, but she was still very worried, she couldn't see any way to win.

Meanwhile, Chen Ya was looking at the two panicking deathbringers.

While Chen Ya was talking, the area around her started becoming cold and her pupils started glowing with a light blue color.

*Sound of something hitting the ground*

Looking to her right, Lin Xue saw that Wong Kai fell to his knees completely giving up.

'DAMN IT!! Arrow of a million sufferings!!'

Lin Xue pulled her bow string and gathered all of her celestial energy on the arrow currently nocked.

And she let go, the arrow flew in a straight line towards Chen Ya, while on the way instead of the sound of an arrow cutting through the wind, what was heard were the wailings of souls.

Looking at the arrow headed her way, Chen Ya did nothing to stop it.

Seeing this, Lin Xue got a little hope back, but a big part in her brain told her that it will not work.

And like that part of her brain said, it did not work, the arrow hit Chen Ya in the head, but instead of piercing into her skull, it made a dull sound of metal hitting metal and fell to the ground, looking closely, Chen Ya had a thin layer of ice above her skin.

Looking towards Chen Ya, Lin Xue could see that it was her last chance.

'Fuc-'

Before she could finish, her and everything in a very large area around them turned to ice and shattered a few seconds later, turning into a beautiful rain of ice, or in her and Wong's case, a rain of red and pink ice.

Looking in the direction of the now gone deathbringers, Chen Ya released a sigh.

'I'm getting too old for this, maybe we should take a vacation after this?'

With that in mind, she started walking towards where she can sense her husband.

Meanwhile.

'_She died. Well, I wasn't expecting her to survive this, I guess it is time for me to get to work_'

Thought Saviour.

If someone with the ability to see souls looked at the pile of ice that used to be Lin Xue, they would see a spirit that looked like Lin Xue, but a bit different, she was glowing a bit with a golden aura and had golden irises and white pupils, while her hair was white.

This was Saviour.

She reached her hand towards the pile of ice and when her hand reached it, instead of stopping, her hand continued and went right into the ice.

'_Where are you?_'

She started moving her hand inside the ice, searching for something.

'_Found it_'

Saviour brought her hand in front of her face and looked at it, what was resting on her palm was a glowing green seed.

'_This might take a while_'

Thought Saviour before starting to fly in a random direction away from the fighting.

----Unspecified amount of time later------

'_Found it_'

Thought Saviour while looking towards a woman, the woman was currently sitting at home with her husband, they were talking about finally having a child while laughing and smiling.

Saviour looked at them for a moment before taking out the seed and moving it towards the woman's belly.

When her hand reached it, like before, the hand went through her skin and straight into her womb where a currently soulless fetus rests, when her hand reached it, she brought the seed to the fetus's head and pushed it into its brain, when the brain and seed met, the brain and seed glowed green for a few seconds and merged, making the body and soul become one.

The seed was the soul of Lin Xue, when she died, Saviour started doing her job, her job was to make sure Lin Xue survives, so when she died, the only way she could think of letting her survive, is to get her a new body, which is what she did, Lin Xue is now currently a Fetus, and until the age of 3 she will be unaware of her past.

'_There is more to do_'

While searching for a soulless fetus, she exhausted a lot of the celestial energy she had left from Lin Xue, so she was currently extremely weak and tired, but she still needed to protect Lin Xue and by extend her new mother, until she was born and old enough at least.

Looking at the sky, Saviour sighed.

As for the fetus thing, now that I think about it I didn't explain, in their world, a soul only occupies a fetus when it is 2 weeks to birth since it is the easiest time for a soul to be reborn into a fetus while also having enough time for the soul and body to adjust to each other, but what Saviour did was forcefully putting a soul there, doing so uses a lot of energy while also making it take a lot longer for the body and soul to adjust, which is way she won't remember her past until the age of 3.
