Blackbeard had planned to wait until both the navy and Whitebeard Pirates were exhausted before seizing the Tremor-Tremor Fruit. However, the unexpected strength of Lin Yan, the newly appointed seventeenth division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, had turned the tide. Lin Yan defeated legendary figures like Sengoku, Garp, and Akainu, rescuing Ace in the process.

With Lin Yan retreating, Blackbeard could no longer stay idle. If he didn't act now, he might never get another chance.

He abandoned his original plan. If Ace returned to the Whitebeard Pirates, they would escape, and the Blackbeard Pirates would be left vulnerable, relentlessly pursued.

"Ace!" Seeing Blackbeard, Ace's fists clenched in rage. The memory of his defeat at Blackbeard's hands was a bitter humiliation.

"I thought you'd stay hidden forever, Teach!" Whitebeard, aboard the Moby Dick, roared. The sight of Blackbeard, the one who had caused so much grief and sparked this war, made his veins bulge with anger.

"Teach!" The commanders and crew of the Whitebeard Pirates seethed with hatred. If not for him capturing Ace, they wouldn't be in this dire situation.

"Lin, if you want to leave Marineford, hand over Ace!" Blackbeard ignored the animosity from the Whitebeard Pirates, focusing only on Lin Yan and Ace.

"Heh." Lin Yan chuckled disdainfully, "So, the mastermind behind this war finally shows himself?"

"Hand over Ace!" Blackbeard demanded.

"Hmph, do you think I'm someone who hands over things on demand?" Lin Yan's gaze was icy.

"Since you insist on opposing us, then die!" Blackbeard knew he couldn't face Lin Yan alone and cunningly included the navy in his threat.

Lin Yan scoffed at Blackbeard's shamelessness. He picked up Ace and, amidst Ace's confusion, threw him towards Aramaki. "Aramaki, catch!"

Aramaki extended his vines, securely catching Ace. Lin Yan then instructed, "It's time to retreat. You three take Ace back to the Whitebeard Pirates!"

Fujitora, Aramaki, and Zephyr understood the gravity of the situation and nodded in agreement, heading back to the Moby Dick.

Lin Yan knew they were reluctant to fight the navy and had helped him delay the Admirals enough.

Now, it was his turn to cover the retreat.

As the three returned to the Moby Dick, Lin Yan approached Luffy and Buggy, instructing them to take the prisoners and the Supernovas back to the ship. It was time to leave.

"Really?" Buggy, eager to leave the battlefield, was overjoyed.

"Alright!" Luffy, seeing Ace safe, agreed.

They quickly gathered the prisoners and Supernovas, heading back to the Moby Dick.

Meanwhile, Whitebeard ordered all his crew to abandon the allied pirate fleet and board the four Moby Dick ships. The navy's bombardment was intense, and despite the commanders' efforts, they could only protect the main ships.

Soon, the entire Whitebeard Pirates, along with the prisoners and Supernovas, were on the four Moby Dick ships. Whitebeard invited Lin Yan to board, but Lin Yan refused. The navy was still pursuing, and someone needed to stay behind.

Understanding the situation, Whitebeard nodded. With Lin Yan's extraordinary power, they had a chance. He commanded the ships to sail through the gap he created in the navy's blockade, using his Tremor-Tremor Fruit to break through.

As the navy's artillery fire intensified, Fujitora and Aramaki used their powers to shield the ships. The Moby Dick ships, at full speed, left the navy little time to react.

Seeing the Whitebeard Pirates attempting to retreat, Sengoku grew anxious. If they escaped, the navy would be truly defeated. As they tried to intercept, Lin Yan stepped forward, standing firmly on the ice.

"Sigh, to be honest, I wanted to use my last bit of strength to escape," Lin Yan said. "But since you insist on stopping us, you'll have to get through me first!"

Sengoku, visibly angry, asked, "You plan to cover the retreat alone?"

Lin Yan smiled, "Yes."

Blackbeard mocked, "Do you really think you can stop us by yourself?"

Lin Yan glanced at them indifferently, "How will I know unless I try?"

"Enough talk, bring it on!"

It was peculiar. Lin Yan had just joined the Whitebeard Pirates, yet here he was, risking everything for them. Even though he faced the entire navy's high command and tens of thousands of marines, he laughed, realizing he had truly become a part of this grand pirate world.
