Beni, and his crew, the Red pirates were not that famous, for a crew that majorly operates in the new world. The reason was very simple. The only thing they do, is to smuggle devil fruits. They make deals with both Marine and pirates. So they are neutral for both of these parties. Beni has eaten a paramicia type devil fruit, Hōijishin hōijishin no mi. That made him a compass human. As long as he could visualise an object his head will turn towards that direction. But the fruit has many flaws. If he visualise something that does not exist than he will feel quite some headache. Not to mention another one of this fruit's weakness is that it only works on objects. And again if the object he is visualising, is in some dangerous location, it won't stop the fruit from working.

Third thing If he cannot visualise the thing perfectly then he will feel severe headache and pain. That's the reason he hasn't became the pirate King yet.

But this fruit was also very helpful when finding different kinds of devil fruits.

He just have to think about those fruits and they will wins to search for it. In this way his pirate crew has found and sold more than 50 different types of devil fruits to both the marines and the pirates. He has quite a good name in both the black markets of the new world and the paradise, for his achievements.

Currently Beni and his crew were hired by one of the four emperors to search for a devil fruit.

Bigmom has hired them to find Modo Modo no mi, one of the paramecia type devil fruit that can reverse a persons age.

He can guess why an old hag like bigmom wants that fruit.

So he was searching for the fruit in the Paradise of grand line. He reached a small Island that didn't even have a magnetic field of it's own, in the search of the devil fruit. It was so small that there was nothing but rocks there. But he didn't care as long as the fruit was found.

It turned out that the island has a lot of underground caves. And in his search he found the fruit inside one of those underground caves which was surprisingly full of different kind of small trees.

It was one of the hardest to find devil fruit in his life. But he was relieved that he don't have to return empty handed in front of the emperor.

But he didn't know that he was not lucky.

"A pirate ship ahead ! To the left side !"

Silver shouted from the crows nest. Due to the microphones system, everyone in the ship heard her.

Hancock who is chilling in the hot spring completely naked didn't want to go out.

But as the captain she must ensure that her crew is not facing someone too dangerous, she turned to look at Lami who was also in the hot springs.

"Go outside and tell me if it is a big pirate crew. Just as Gloriosa or Silver, they will tell you."

So she lazily ordered the child besides her.

Lami sighed and got up from the hotsprings.

Tia had put one thing in her call clearly. No matter what follow the orders of the captain.

After a few minutes, she came back to Hancock.

"Ummm, Captain, the hag-I mean Gloriosa said that, they are not any significant pirate crew."

"Well, then chase them. And loot everything they have. You should fight too. Only by fighting directly you can gain enough experience. And call me back, if you find anything interesting."

After telling Lami Hancock sank back into the water. Although, it drains her powers, it was relaxing. So Hancock liked it very much.

"Ca-ca-CAPTAIN ! The Boa pirates are chasing us !" Rooster, the only other devil fruit user in Beni's crew shouted infront of Beni. Although Rooster was strong, and was the second in command of the red pirates, in reality he was just a chicken, a coward who rather run away than fight. Which was similar to Beni as well. Although Beni was not a coward, he also avoided conflict as much as possible. So running away is the specialty of red pirates. For many years they have survived in both Paradise and new world by running away. It is luck or their skills in running away, Beni didn't know. But running away has saved them multiple times. So that's the exact thing he is going to do against the crew of a war lord. Boa pirates were infamous in grand line for hunting other pirate crews. They never ran away, whether it's Marines or pirates, the fought, they won and they looted everything afterwards.

But after getting the title of the war lord a few days ago, it was confirmed that they have indeed the strength which was recognised by the marines. Boa pirates have never gone to the new world. And they were comparatively new.

So Beni was confident in running away.

But he greatly underestimated the Boa pirates.

Silver pearl was one of the fastest ship in the grand line. It is twice as faster than a marine vessel. And with their inline sixteen cylinder, coal engine, they got enough power on the paddles to chase the red pirates. (AN: it is an imaginary engine with some anime logic. So please don't compare it with real world V16.)

Canons were fired by Boa pirates. Which found their mark on the red raccoon, the ship of the red pirates.

"Alright !

Lami, Sandersonia, Gloriosa and Sheel will attack. Me and Marigold will join if the fight is tough. Tia ! You will handle the ship." Silver ordered.

"Take this kid, it will come in handy." Gloriosa handed over a tanto to Lami before jumping on the enemy ship. She didn't even need a rope to land on the ship which was 15 feet away from their own.

"*Gulp* Lami steeled her heart and jumped from the ship with a rope. She was already 9. Obviously she didn't need to fear.

In the fight, her present wasn't even needed. Lami saw the massacre as Gloriosa and Sandersonia cut through the enemy's ranks.

So she started to search for valuable things in the ship. After searching everywhere she didn't found anything special other than food, water and sake supplies and a few million berries.

But then she found a small treasure chest in the captain's quarters.

And inside it she found a devil fruit.

"What a let down ! They didn't have anything except for the 15 millions ?" Hancock sighed. She was hoping for at least some treasure or loot.

"Well we got the Modo Modo no mi, according to the devil fruit encyclopaedia. You can always sell it away." Gloriosa suggested.

"Have you gone crazy old hag ? The potential of this devil fruit is immense. And you are thinking about selling it ! There is no way I am going to sell this fruit. It is one of the few fruits that can practically grant you eternal youth ! Not to mention it can also heal someone's fatal injuries if applied on the right time."

Hancock shouted.

"..." Gloriosa stayed silent. She knew that Hancock was right. It was just her outburst on the topic.

"So does anyone want this fruit ? I mean if you are already a devil fruit user, then you are obviously out." Hancock raised the question. Silver, Sandersonia and Tia were uninterested in devil fruit entirely. That leaves Sheel and Gloriosa.

After a few moments of hesitation, Gloriosa finally rose her hand. Although she was not a big fan of being a devil fruit user, but after Hancock explaining the potential of the fruit, she was tempted to try it for the sake of eternal youth.

Although she didn't show it on her face, Hancock smirked internally. Her plan was going better than she expected. Getting Modo Modo no mi was a good surprise. But if she uses it correctly, then....
