chapter 7: I like to move it move it

"neee Luffy" I asked my friend with a bored voice while sitting on the couch

"Mm what?" he asked also bored

"you want to fight?" I asked with half-open eyes

"no" he pouted

We were currently in my house a couple of weeks after the meeting with Garp, I fought Luffy a couple of times but he seems like he isn't enjoying our brawls anymore

(flashback time)

"are you ready Luffy?" I asked with an excited grin

"yes, this time I am going to beat your butt!" he returned the grin with innocence

"ready?.. set... go!" I exclaimed with wide eyes

When I said 'go!' I ran towards Luffy and he ran towards me with a right punch (his right)

I've seen the punch coming from a mile away, so when he got close enough to strike I sidestepped to left and dished out a hook towards his liver

Luffy has already seen this coming with his inhuman instinct and dodged backwards with only his stomach, thanks to my experience with instinct fighters I had an advantage, when he dodged I already changed my stance to an uppercut

Luffy noticed it and moved his head back as fast as he could but my punch barely connected to his chin

'chance!' I exclaimed in my head

Luffy was a little dazed from the shock of the punch to his chin which gave samiel enough time to-

"Blackburn wheel!" a new move I have been working on, 'Blackburn wheel' is pretty much jumping forward while using all the power from the jump to also spin myself as fast as possible and hitting with the back of my foot while spinning, dad taught me that if you call the name of the move while using it it will become more precise and powerful, I didn't notice any difference in power but it does make it easier to perform the technic how I imagined it

When my heel touched his cheek and he was thrown to the side and started to stumble on the ground and finally hitting a tree that was about 4 meters away from us

"ittee" he exclaimed in pain while touching his cheek "rrrggg" he almost growled from anger sat up and started running towards me

"oi oi what are you a bull??" I joked with a hint of worry in my voice while dodging one of his punches 'every one of his punches are almost as strong as my 'Blackburn wheel' what is that old man giving him to eat, I want some too!'

I began dodging all of Luffy's attacks, from the outside it may seem like I'm toying with him but to experienced eyes, it's clear that Luffy is the one who is cornering me, you see Luffy is stronger than me in every way except experience, reaction time and I'm a tiny bit faster

'left punch' 'right punch' 'left kick' 'right punch' I focused entirely on dodging all of the attacks and waited for my chance

'right punch' left kick' wait I'm starting to see a pattern, he is not using right kicks and kicks only after a right punch soo…

Luffy is not even thinking about his attacks all he wants is to hit Samael only once

'right punch!!' I practically screamed in my head and got ready for the left kick… and it came!

He tried to kick me and I ducked under the kick and using my momentum from squatting to jumping while grabbing the back of his head and dished out a knee to his face

*bang*

Luffy got knocked away and hit the ground

"oh shit are you ok?" I asked with not a lot of worry in my voice, this guy gets 5 fists of love every month minimum, he can handle it lol

"uhhghhhgh" he groaned on the ground with spirals for eyes

"tshehahaha" I laughed at his sorry state because that's what best friends do

(tell me what you thought about that fight scene, what do I need to change and improve, or what you liked about it)

(flashback ovar)

"you always just dodge and I can't even hit you!" he exclaimed with a pout

"you are just not fast enough" I said teasingly

"you assho!-" he was about to swear at me but then

*ahem* we heard a cough behind us, we looked back to see mom with a displeased face

"sami, I told you already to stop teasing Luffy…" she said with an exhausted face

"but he is so easy to tease moooomm" I whined jokingly

"no im not!" Luffy exclaimed loudly

"yes you are" I said smugly

"no im not!"

"yes you are"

"no im no-"

"how about" mom stopped our silly argument with a kind smile "you go play outside?" she asked

Me and luffy looked at each other…

""sure"" we answered perfectly synchronized to my mom

We looked at each other and squinted our eyes

""stop copying m-""

*BAM* mom just took us out and closed the door, we looked at the closed door for a second

"wanna go to the bar" Luffy asked while turning to look at me

"we aren't even 10 bro" I said with a deadpanned face

"no no I meant meet Makino" Luffy returned the deadpanned face

"sure, didn't actually meet her yet, might be fun" I answered with a slightly less bored face " though I have to ask where is this pirate friend you keep talking about?" I asked while starting to walk towards the more busy part of the village

"hm? Oh, Shanks!" Luffy understood what I meant… impressive "yeah he visits every couple of days sometimes weeks, last time he was here you didn't get the chance to meet him!" he exclaimed with excitement

"hmm are you sure you are not just fantasizing about being a pirate again?" I asked with doubt

"no! of course he is real he will come next week for sure" he said and continued with enthusiasm "I just know you will love him!, he is suuuper strong and is super fun to be around with" he finished with a smile

"wait… you mean I am not your best friend?" I asked with a fake sad face and tears

"nonono you are my best friend but he is just a good friend, really!" he said with panic, it totally shows how inexperienced he is with things like friendships, well it makes sense we both don't have any friends our age to talk or play with

*bonk* I lightly bonked him on the head with a fist to stop his ranting

"just kidding dork" I smiled at him with a genuine smile
