"So, Captain? Where are we headed?" Kitts voice suddenly sounded out as we sailed the sea of the East Blue.
I looked back at him from beside the helm, Laffite at my side directly steering the helm.
The weather suddenly changed, the sky turned a lightish grey and it suddenly started pouring down rain; a large red mountain came into view.
I looked back at Kitt, and pointed at the gigantic mountain in awe.
"We're headed there!" I shouted in excitement; Law, Bepo, Aoki, Kuina, Kitt, and Laffite looked up at the gigantic red mountain with varying reactions .
Aoki looked up with the same awe that I had, while Kuina and Law both looked up in amazement and slight indifference, Laffite's reaction was hard to explain, and Bepo and Kitts reactions were of pure shock.
As I looked at this crowd of various different people I chuckled, who would've thought that I; an obese piggy in my last life, could unite this crowd of people who's potential was limitless?
I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists until they were bleeding, this is only the beginning; the four blues was merely the novice village, this is the real starting point!
"Avery! You Okay?" Aoki walked up towards me and stood next to Kitt.
"Hehehe, Aoki-san."
"Ugh! Get out of here you perv! I won't forgive you for last time!"
"Come on! You know it was an accident! I knocked three times and heard no response, you think I would purposely barge into the bathroom when you were half naked?"
"Hmph! That's something a perv would say!" Aoki suddenly hit Kitt with the "Shoryuken", sending him flying into the arms of Law as blood from his nose flew through the air.
"A-A-Aoki, S-san…" Kitt passed out seconds later.
"K.O.!" I shouted, getting laughs out of everyone.
"Haha, Captain. There it is; Reverse Mountain." Laffite said from the helm.
The rain got even more intense, the water current got extremely rough and a split was open in the great red mountain.
The water went up like an escalator, and there were plenty of tori stone gate like structures; if a sailor from Earth saw this they'd probably have a heart attack.
[Host has met requirements for the first update of the system! Congratulations host!]
Update? Congratulations? Wow that's a first, genuine praise from the system is like saying Luffy doesn't say he'll become the King of the Pirates once in at least ten manga chapters! Hahaha!
[I'll pretend I didn't hear that host, the update will take five minutes]
Five minutes huh? Thankfully it's not very long.
The ship traveled up the giant stream of water, my heart was pumping in nervousness; Why? Because many pirates die before they can even get up to the top of this mountain.
They die due to the hostile water current and storms that crash them into the mountain's walls.
"Agh!" Kitt suddenly crashed into the right side of the ship, unable to stand due to the harsh weather conditions and the monstruos current.
"Kitt! You alright?"
"Y-yeah! I'm good!" Kitt shouted, his forehead was filled with blood.
I lightly nodded and looked towards Laffite, his face was pale as usual but his face had an expression on it that shouted 'I'm having trouble!'.
I silently stood there and said nothing, knowing well that if I said something to him it'd mess up his concentration; making us go splat right into the mountain wall.
The rain that was continuously pouring down came to an abrupt stop as we rose higher and higher, and the light of the glorious sun shined down on us once again.
As we came closer and closer to the peak, the top was an area where the four streams of water met.
This mountain was like a ride I went on as a kid to the amusement park, the ship finally reached the peak and we were launched into the air.
"We've made it!!" I shouted in excitement, a bright smile popped up on my face showing how excited I was.
"We have, we have made it captain-ya." Law said, his voice not sounding very energetic but a slight smile was formed on his face; a rare thing you'd see from him.
"We made it Avery! We really made it, we're finally in the first half of the Grand Line: Paradise!" Aoki shouted in joy.
Kitt and Bepo's gigantic smiles voiced what they were going to say, and finally Kuina had a gaze filled with the same joy and excitement I had on her face.
The ship eventually fell back down on the water, as we traveled down the water current.
[Congratulations Host! You've passed]
Passed? What do you mean passed?
[Hah, Host the system had been updated since I said the Host had met the requirements; this was a trial of some sorts as it directly takes five minutes to travel up the Reverse Mountain. The Host would have had the update taken away from him, if he hadn't climbed up the mountain within five minutes!]
So you couldn't have told me this before? If I was a second off from five minutes would I have the update taken away?!
[No comment. Host has gained: Log Pose, Mult-Use Eternal Pose, added function to unique skill!]
Don't try to bribe me with those rewards, I want my answers! Well; maybe it's not so bad, at least I made it in time. What's this Multi-Use Eternal Pose?
[The Multi-Use Eternal Pose, directly allows the Host to select whichever island in Paradise the Host would like to go to! Regardless of whether the Host is incapable of going there currently, it would give the host the best possible route to the island selected!]
Fufufu! This Eternal Pose is insanely useful, every pirate in Paradise would go crazy for this. Not to mention that even the ordinary Eternal Pose's cost is on the more expensive side of the market.
As we went down the water a gigantic black wall mountain like structure came into view.
"Captain! What's that?" Laffite shouted beside me as we approached the gigantic black mountain like structure.
"That, my friend is Laboon." Let's hope that old man is here, I don't want to forcefully move Laboon his back story is way to sad!
Hey Readers! I was thinking of making my chapters longer, like 3,000-5,000 words.
Though if I do this, expect less chapters per week; what would you guys prefer? Longer chapters but less chapters per week, or regular 1,000-1,500 word chapters but most of time more chapters per week?
Let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading btw!
