(17) Fighting Marines!

Morgan hacked his axe towards my neck, attempting to cut my head off. I stuck my hand out, imbued it with armament haki and blocked the attack.

"Weak." I said, startling Morgan.

I punched him with the arm imbued with armament haki, and sent him flying backwards.

"GAHH!" Morgan crashed through two buildings, thankfully they were empty.

Morgan crept up from the debris, he looked quite beat up as blood leaked out from his body.

My strength left the marines, the crowd, and Morgan shocked; I guess they didn't expect me to be as strong as I am.

I looked over to Aoki and Kuina, and found that there were two marines fighting each of them.

[Aoki POV]

Two marines huh, I think I can handle them. I conjured a spear of water, and sent it flying at one of the two marines.

The spear shocked the marine, it ended up piercing through his shoulder upon impact.

I moved my focus on the other marine and unsheathed Nidai Kitetsu, I dashed towards him and slashed down with my sword.

Blood splurted out, and the marine fell unconcsious.

[Kuina POV]

I walked towards the two marines, once I was at a close enough range, I unsheathed Wado Ichimonji and put it back in its sheathe in one motion.

I walked passed the two of them, blood splurted out from the two of them; there eyes both turned white signifying thay they were unconscious.

[Avery POV]

I smiled at the two of them, glad they were able to take care of the marines.

A blonde haired kid who looked around nine to ten years old looked at me in fright, it took me a while to recognize him but I finally remembered who he was.

"Helmeppo" Helmeppo, the son of Morgan and a future marine Liutenant Commander. Though now he was just an annoying bratty kid.

"Y-you! Y-you think y-your so high and mighty just because your a little s-strong! Nobody messes with the marines and comes out alive!" Helmeppo shouted, I scoffed at that.

Just wait until a certain strawhat wearing seventeen year old kid pops up, he'll make you eat your current words.

I decided to just use Conqueror's haki to knock him out; beating up a little kid was a line I would never cross.

A dozen more marines popped up, they ran towards me and jumped on me a familiar scene. I used Conqueror's haki once again and knocked them all out.

"Jeez you guys are seriously getting boring, if this is all you're capable of then I should just leave; you guys wouldn't be able to capture or kill me anyway. Make sure you update my bounty, thirty million is what I'd prefer anything below ten million is disrespectful." I put up a piece sign and joined up with Aoki and Kuina.

"What about the map?" Kuina asked.

"Oh yeah I almost forgot, after we get the map we can leave." We left the area, leaving the unconscious marines and the crowd in shock as we looked for a store.

We found a store and bought a map. It was pretty awkward, as the store owner was pretty much terrified of us as she saw what we did to the marines.

She was more so afraid of me, even asking me if I wanted to buy the map for free. I of course rejected I'm a pirate not a thief, even if she was offering for me to take it for free I could tell she was scared by her body language.

We left the store and headed back to the ship, but we were stopped by a beat up Morgan.

"Hah, Morgan I already kicked your ass before. Do you want to get your ass kicked again? If you don't I advise you get out of our way."

"Blasted pirate! You think I'd let you go after what you did to my son?!" Morgan shouted, as he ran towards me.

I looked over towards Kuina and she looked back and nodded slightly. She blocked his path and unsheathed her sword and sheathed it in one smooth motion, she went back to her original place and Morgan was already on the floor unconscious.

"Thanks Kuina."

"No problem captain."

I was confident she could deal with an injured Morgan, as he wasn't really that much stronger than Kuina and Aoki.

We walked back to the ship with little to no interuptions, we had to pjck up the pace though as the marines were starting to wake up and call for back up.

I gripped the helm and prepared to set sail, I saw the marines running towards the dock I merely waved at them and left.

This pirate thing was really exciting, intense, and most definitely; fun!

"ONWARDS! SEE YA TRASH MARINES!" Me and Aoki, both yelled.
