Chapter 330: Onigashima
"Why does it look like a skull?..." Usopp trembled.
"That's where Kaidou lives?." Asked Sanji.
"Yes, that Onigashima," Drake confirmed.
"The Emperor and his strongest men are in there…"
They had spent the entire night discussing a plan to take on Kaidou.
But in the end, Luffy just wanted to come running and fight the Emperor.
"So we just go there? that seems very reckless." Kinemon didn't look pleased.
"That's our Captain plan, yes," Franky confirmed.
"To be fair…against someone of that level of power, the isn't much planning to be done. Is not like a silent assassination would have done much." Vivi shrugged.
"She is right. We have to overwhelm the enemy. Is the only way." Ace added.
"How do we cross this?, that river looks very wild." a man with a Tengu mask asked.
"You can leave that part to me." Vivi stepped forward and kneeled down next to the river.
She placed a hand inside the water and this one started to move.
A great amount of the river water converged in the middle and started to form a platform of ice.
The platform grew until it was over ten meters wide and covered the entire distance to the island.
"That's incredible!, such power!" Old man Hyo looked at the ice bridge with shock.
"Cool!" Luffy went to jump on the bridge.
"Okay, remember what we talked about," Drake said.
"The most dangerous members are the All-stars."
"Luckily for us, Jack is absent. That leaves us with King and Queen." Hawkins said.
"Those guys are no joke…all of them have a bounty of over one billion beri…." Drake added.
"Then there are the Tobiroppo…" Hawkins glanced at Drake.
"There used to be six, but now there are only five members without Drake."
"Actually…" Drake looked at Vivi.
"There are only four…she killed one of them already."
"Who?" Vivi tilted her head.
"Yes, that's the one," Drake confirmed.
"What? who did she kill?" Luffy asked.
"Who." Said Reiju.
"We are not doing this again!" Drake shouted with exasperation.
"Okay….without him. That leaves Ulti, Black Maria, Sasaki, and Page-one." Hawkins considered.
"Yes, you said those guys have abilities like Drake's one, right? They can turn into these massive animals." Ace asked.
"Yes, they all have prehistoric-type zoans. This also includes the All-stars." Drake confirmed it.
"That is going to be difficult…" Sanji frowned.
"Finally, some interesting fights!" Zoro looked excited.
"Oh, I almost forgot. Big Mom is also there. " Vivi said casually.
"Maybe I should have mentioned earlier…" she added after seeing their shocked expressions.
"We were talking about Kaidous forces all night and you only mention this now?!" Nami shouted.
"It slipped my mind, sorry," Vivi said with an apologetic grin.
"Now we have to deal with two Emperors?...this is beyond terrible," Law commented.
"No, you can leave Big Mom to me. " Vivi said.
"Hold, why do you get to claim that? " Zoro said.
"Because I saw her first!" Vivi said.
"That's not how it works!" Zoro answered.
"There are plenty of strong people in there, go find another one!" Vivi pointed at the island.
"Are those two really arguing about who gets to fight an Emperor?" Hanzo looked baffled.
"Yes, they are a crazy crew." Law sighed.
"Speaking of crazy…" Kinemon looked around.
"Where is Luffy?"
The entire group started to scan the area, trying to locate him to no avail.
"Over there!" Chopper pointed at the island.
Luffy had already crossed the ice bridge and was running towards the castle.
"Ah!, what is he doing there already?!" Usopp pulled out a spyglass.
"He is almost at the door!
"KAIDOU!" They all heard Luffy shouting.
"COME OUT!"
"We may as well go too," Vivi said.
"We haven't even decided on how to split the enemies!" Drake shouted.
"Well leave the small fry to you lot." Sanji glanced over the army composed of the former prisoners, Drakes and Hawkins crews, Laws crew, and many other citizens who had rallied behind the name of the Kozuki family.
The chef lit a cigarette and started to walk through the bridge.
Zoro smile.
"Yes, let's go already."
"Can I stay with them?" Asked Usopp.
"No, you are coming to." Franky dragged him away
"Stay close to me," Sanji told his sister.
"Oh, I didn't know you were so protective!" Reiki teased him.
The Strawhats crossed the bridge along with Law, Ace, and the samurai.
"Look, he is already having fun," Vivi said.
When they set foot on the island, Luffy had already broken the door down and was punching a group of men dressed in black armor.
"Gomu gomu no…"
