Chapter 145: Mission Start!
"I told you that I didn't like it! And where was I supposed to put my straw hat? I'm not risking losing it" Luffy looked indignant.
"That blue hair woman is Vivi!, the water demon" A marine yelled.
"Can I get out already?" The voice of Chopper was heard from inside Luffys clothes.
Their Captain took the small dear out and place it down.
"That's Tony Chopper!, the Strawhats mascot" The same marine exclaimed.
Chopper looked at the marine in shock.
"You!...you recognize me?."
He then started to move around and wiggle his body.
"I'm not happy for being famous or anything, idiot!"
"Infamous would be more appropriate" Vivi corrected.
Nami took off her hat, letting her hair run free.
"Well, I wasn't expecting much of this plan, but I was hoping to at least make it through the first door"
"That's Cat thief, Nami!." once again, the marine exclaimed.
The one next to him gave an angry glare.
"Are you a fanboy or something?"
"W-What? Don't be ridiculous" the marine blushed.
"And who is the blind one? I don't recognize him" spoke the Captain.
"I don't recognize him from the posters sir"
"Maybe they kidnapped a blind man to use as a human shield"
"That's so evil"
The marines nearby speculated.
"Hey!, I am part of the crew too!" Complained Sanji.
"Enough of this!" Luffy rushed towards the squad of marines.
"Gomu Gomu no…whip!"
His leg extended and sweep all of them, sending them crashing against a nearby wall.
The only one who managed to dodge the attack was the Captain.
Vivi then appeared at his side.
"Go to sleep."
And punched him on the side of the head, knocking him out, instantly.
"Guys, we should go inside before -" Nami's warning was interrupted by a very loud siren.
"INTRUDER ALERT INTRUDER ALERT" A robotic sounding voice started to say.
"They must have people watching over this area…I guess the surprise factor has been lost. But at least we landed." Said Vivi.
"Yeah, we don't need those things anymore!" Luffy removed his marine suit, revealing his normal ones underneath.
"Ahh…much better!, I can finally move!"
"Guys! There is a big window over there, we can get in thought there" Nami pointed out.
"Let's go!" Shouted Luffy.
"Wait!, what am I supposed to do?!" Exclaimed Sanji, moving his hands around.
While the rest went running. Vivi got close to Sanji.
"Okay, I'm going to take this thing off because our plan A has gone to shit…and we need you to be at your best, okay?."
Sanji nodded.
"But try to keep your head down until the situation calls for it, we can't have you bleeding all over the place. Chopper had told us that there is barely any blood left for transfusions. You have a very rare type." Vivi explained calmly.
"I understand, I'll be careful." Said Sanji with confidence.

"Do we even know which way to go?" Asked Sanji while they were running through some very dungeon-like hallways.
"Well no…we don't have any maps of the area and there wasn't any more information aboard the Vice-Admiral ship. I'm just following my instincts" Admitted Nami.
"At least the siren has stopped…it was getting annoying." Commented Luffy.
"Because they already know where we are!" Vivi sent a high pressured blast of water to one of the walls and a small object fell down.
"Vigilance snails, they can transmit images in real-time."
"Oh no…if they have those things all over the place it will be impossible to get around without being seen." Exclaimed Nami with dread.
"Cant Sanji just become invisible and take care of those snails?" Asked Lufffy.
"That's right!" Sanji said with a smile. "Is my turn to be useful. Watch this!" He disappeared completely.
Luffy looked around.
"What are we supposed to watch?..."
"I think he just phrased it weirdly…, Captain" Concluded Vivi.
"Let's give him a minute or two to clear the area of those snails before we continue." Suggested Nami.
"Huoho!" An animalistic sound came from behind them.
They all turned their heads and spotted four strange creatures running at them. They wore white robes with black skulls painted where their faces would be and they also carry some giant axes.
"They told us to stop!" Said Chopper.
"You understood that?" Asked Nami.
"If only Chopper can understand those sounds they make, that means they are animals of some kind." Vivi pointed out.
"If they are here to stop us…" Luffy cracked his fists.
"Uohoho!" One of the creatures swung his axe towards Luffy.
Their Captain moved forward at incredible speed and punched the beast in its chest. This one dropped the axe and went flying back.
The other three beasts managed to avoid their partner with a great show of agility and jumped in the air.
One of them went for Chopper while the other two jumped at Nami and Vivi, who were very close to each other.
Chopper transformed into his humanoid form and easily stopped the axe from hitting him.
"Sorry, this is going to hurt…" He said before clashing his fist against the beast's face and smashing it against the stone floor.
"Leave those guys to me," Vivi said calmly. She extended two fingers of her right hand, creating a V shape.
The tip of her fingers transformed into two crystalline beads that immediately shoot out, aimed at the two creatures' heads.
The beads moved at speeds that even bullets shot from modern firearms could not compete. They entered their heads and passed through without finding any resistance before continuing their path, creating two small holes in the outer wall of the fortress.
The two creatures fell down like puppets with their strings cut off and did not move again.
"What did you shoot at them? those did not seem your normal water bullets." Asked Nami with curiosity.
Vivi smiled. "Oh that?...I'll tell you later."
