Doctor Wanted

The King was also not an exception as he too felt the animosity from his right-hand man. '*Sigh* Polagio, I have trusted you all these years and this is how you repay my kindness. I used to close my eyes to the things you have done but enough is enough. I will just let karma deal with you as I do not want my hands to be stained by our traitorous blood.'

Polagio thought that his plans would not be found out, but he thought lowly of the King and Alex that he did not suppress his aura and his malicious thoughts were transmitted. He thought that everything was going his way because he followed the orders of his superiors in the World Government.

Polagio was a spy that was sent by the World Government to try and control Drum Kingdom since the World Government has heard about their doctors on the island. Polagio was ordered to remove the current king and replace him with his son who was still naive so that they could control the kingdom in the shadows. After years of climbing up the ranks and gaining the trust of the current king, Polagio finally found the perfect situation to remove the king and at the same time catch a pirate crew that has a bg bounty. If his plan succeeds, then he would be hitting two birds with one stone.

'I just have to contact my superiors and this plan would commence. Hehehe~ King Rapol and 'Asura Hands' Alex, your time in this world will soon be over. And I, Polagio, will become the ruler of this Kingdom while ruling it however I want because I will manipulate the son of King Rapol.' thought Polagio as his brain starts to work on how to make the plan foolproof.

As the trio went out of the throne room, Robin immediately went to work and investigated Polagio and the other advisors even if Alex did not say to investigate them. She did this in order for their deals to be passed without opposition because they would have the advisors in the palm of their hands. The only one she would investigate for now is Polagio because she noticed the seriousness of Alex when he said it.

Franco saw Robin leaving and asked Alex "Where is she going? Is she going to the library or something?" Alex answered him in a low voice, "I gave her a certain task that would make our stay in this Kingdom very interesting." Franco just left it at that since he trusts Alex's decisions when it comes to these things. 'Well, whatever it is it must be beneficial for us since it seems urgent.' Franco said in his mind as he kept following his captain around the island.

While Alex and Franco were going around, Law and the twins were looking around the schools, the libraries, the hospitals, and the clinics. This was done in order to collect information about the medical methods and the medicines that were being used and prescribed by the doctors and the scientists on the island.

"We've been looking everywhere and everything we saw was exactly the same as what is written in your notebook, Law. Are we missing something?" asked Axel as he was getting tired of walking around and not finding anything. He just wanted to return to the ship and back to his smithy to create more weapons or equipment for him and his sister.

"Well, maybe we have been looking at the wrong places. There seems to be something special about this island that produces some exceptional doctors. I feel it since I am also a doctor and I know that if we managed to figure out what it is, then we would be able to finish this quickly. So, suck it up and be like your sister who looks like she is in a candy store." said Law as he pointed to Lexa who had stars in her eyes because of the amount of research that goes into every product on the island.

"What is wrong with that? I am just enjoying it since there are a lot of people doing experiments and researches which was rare in Alabasta. Since most of them because most of them are shop owners or merchants since us researchers 'do not make a lot of money'. Well, for me it was not the case since I was the best of the best there. I was not named one of the Twin Stars of Alabasta if I was not the best. It is just a refreshing feeling for me, so mind your own business and let us go around more." said Lexa as she kept looking around like a tourist.

While the three were searching for more clues about what makes this island special, Van Augur with Baby 5 and Fraulein was visiting various weapon shops where they could test out the different kinds of weapons. They thought that they would be seeing different weapon shops, but they were very disappointed since this was an island of doctors and they hated having different weapons on the island. This was because their profession was for saving people, but the weapons were for killing people which was the direct opposite of their profession.

"This is so disappointing. There are only a few shops here that sell weapons and the ones that do were only limited to close-range weapons and a few handguns. Well, I guess for Fraulein he enjoys any type of weapon but for me, I don't see any handgun that could be of use to me. I do not know about Baby 5 but I think she is buying matching guns for Law and her." said Van Augur as he looked at the ecstatic Fraulein and Baby 5 as they were looking at the weapons.

[Polagio POV]

I was currently in an abandoned building that served as my hideout and where I often contact my superiors when they need my reports.

"I better get rid of the king as soon as possible and also those pirate scum. If I don't do it quick, then the deal might go through and we would be under pirates and that is the last thing I want to happen." I was currently trying to call my superiors but I suddenly feel that someone is watching me so I turn around trying to look for the person. But to my surprise, I found no one.

"I should do this in a secure location, but I have to head to town first so that I could get the protection fee from the villagers. Basically, all of the gangs here belong to me and I control the island because of that." I laugh to myself as my plans start to commence and it would be the best plan that I have created.

As Polagio was laughing to himself, he did not notice the eye and the ear that was in the corner of the room. And Robin was watching him and trying to take note of the things he was doing as she said in a low voice and an amused expression "Interesting Mr. Polagio, what secrets do you still have. Show me more."
