After a moment, a very arrogant voice came from the other end of the phone, "Hey hey hey! You're calling me now, you're not trying to change the plan, are you?" 

"No, the plan remains the same, but Vaughan must die in this attack." 

The voice on the phone became playful. "Hahaha, Lieutenant Commander Harry, have you lost your mind?" 

"I'm not your subordinate, you have no right to ask me to do anything for you." 

"Besides, what does the competition between you two Marines have to do with me, a pirate?"

Although insulted multiple times by the person on the other end of the phone, Harry did not become angry. Instead, he remained surprisingly calm. 

"If Vaughan is killed, you'll get sixty percent of what we get!"

"Too far? We can end our cooperation if Lieutenant Commander Harry thinks I've gone too far." 

"I'll take my men and leave Squall Island now. You can deal with Vaughan slowly!"

With these words, Harry calmed down immediately. Although he despised the pirate's greediness, he now needed the pirate's help to get rid of Vaughan.

"All right, it's settled then. Blood Wolf, I hope you won't disappoint me." 

"Hahaha, just prepare your things. If you can't even deal with that cripple Vaughan, then my Blood Wolf Pirates will disband directly!" 

After hanging up the phone, Harry glanced sinisterly at Byakuya's room. "You forced me into this."

Since things had come to this point inside the room, Vaughan didn't try to persuade Byakuya further. 

However, since this was Byakuya's first time fighting pirates, some things needed to be explained.

"When you fight the pirates later, don't recklessly rush in first. Don't come towards my side on your initiative."

Byakuya nodded seriously, understanding that as a Marine Captain, Vaughan needed to face the strongest enemies among the pirates. 

Getting too close would only lead to a quick death. But Byakuya was different now than before.

Although he hadn't fought directly, based on what he had seen from Captain Vaughan's previous battles, his strength should surpass that of the captain. 

Thinking back, according to the anime plot, the strongest pirate in East Blue should be "Pirate Admiral" Krieg, so there shouldn't be any surprises.

"Even if it's Krieg, with my current strength, I should be able to handle him completely, right?" 

"If I unleash my full power, I'll give Captain Vaughan a big surprise."

"Harry and his men surely wouldn't expect my strength to surpass Captain Vaughan's. It's going to be fun."

Vaughan noticed the constant change in expression on Byakuya's face.

When Byakuya arrived at the pier, all the soldiers from the Marine branch were there. 

However, the atmosphere seemed extremely eerie. The Marine soldiers present could be divided into two groups. 

Nearly seventy percent of them stood behind Harry, while the remaining thirty percent stood with Vaughan.

From the number of people in each group, it was evident that Harry held absolute initiative. 

Although Vaughan was still the head of the Squall Island Marine branch base, he was effectively powerless. 

Vaughan could only feel a sense of desolation seeing this situation. 

If it weren't for losing his right arm during the battle with pirates three years ago, resulting in a significant decrease in his strength.

Meanwhile, Harry had steadily improved over the years, surpassing Vaughan in strength. 

He had also made great efforts to win over Marine soldiers and divide the power in Vaughan's hands. 

Otherwise, Harry wouldn't dare to be so arrogant in front of Vaughan.

He shouted, "All Marine soldiers, listen up! When the enemy ship enters firing range, initiate the attack!" 

However, the situation unfolded beyond Vaughan's expectations. 

Except for the soldiers behind him, those on Harry's side seemed as if they were under a petrification spell, standing motionless in place.
