"Apologize to you? Just a piece of scrap metal, I won't listen to you! Watch me dismantle you!" Quinn still didn't take the robot's threatening words seriously.
Due to its structural design, Blitzcrank's movements appeared somewhat comical in its overdrive state, and its bulky frame didn't seem particularly menacing.
As the robot charged, Quinn bent his legs and, after a slight build-up of energy, leaped into the air. With his hands gripping his sword above his head, he aimed for Blitzcrank's neck.
"A design with such a weak spot, what's there to say about such an obvious flaw!"
Compared to Blitzcrank's thick body, its neck did indeed appear slender. However, Blitzcrank's response was simple: releasing some steam from its body, it retracted its neck into a metal collar.
Clang! The blade struck Blitzcrank's body, only chipping some paint, leaving the main structure unscathed. Instead, Quinn's hands were numbed from the shock.
In the original timeline, both Judge and Quinn grew to be formidable figures. While they weren't top-tier monsters in the New World, they were high-level combatants.
However, at this stage, they hadn't reached that level yet. Their technical skills and combat abilities were still in their early stages.
Blitzcrank's creation involved significant input from Kuma. Without stamping machines and other equipment, the Paw-Paw Fruit became the best tool for compressing and refining materials.
Blitzcrank's body was made from a special alloy with an ideal balance of hardness, strength, ductility, and toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance.
Even if a swordsman capable of cutting steel were to face Blitzcrank, they wouldn't gain much. Without the ability to cut steel, there was no way to deal with it.
"Metal is harder than flesh."
Bam! Blitzcrank's charged fist struck Quinn's stomach, sending him flying high into the sky. After a brief, graceful free fall, he landed in a nearby stream.
Currently, Blitzcrank's goal was to teach them a lesson and make them apologize. Hence, its punches weren't too powerful. Before long, Quinn, drenched, crawled out of the water, hunched over.
"Hahaha, Quinn, you look so pathetic. Is this the strong body you always boast about? Seems pretty weak to me," Judge taunted.
"What are you laughing at? Aren't you going to help?"
"Why should I help you with the mess you made?" Judge acted like he had no intention of getting involved. At this moment, he seemed to forget that he had also agreed with Quinn's narcissistic praises earlier.
Humans might see Judge's lack of sincerity, but Blitzcrank, still growing, had already categorized Judge and Quinn as the same type of person.
Swish! While Judge was mocking Quinn, the robotic claw shot towards him.
"Hey, hey, hey! How do you determine enemies? This has nothing to do with me!"
This explanation was obviously ineffective. Blitzcrank rotated its upper body, swinging Judge towards Quinn, sending the freshly emerged Quinn back into the stream.
Fortunately, Quinn hadn't consumed a Devil Fruit yet; otherwise, he might have sunk directly.
"Damn it, I'm not like that useless Quinn. Feel my power!" Judge pulled out something resembling a gun barrel and attached it to the front of his rifle. After a brief aim, he fired it at Blitzcrank.
Blitzcrank's extended mechanical claw caught the projectile mid-air, but Judge grinned triumphantly. The projectile suddenly exploded, sending a powerful electric current through Blitzcrank's arm into its body.
"Lay down and stay there, you stupid tin can!"
This was an electric gun Judge was developing, designed to short-circuit Blitzcrank with high voltage. As intense electrical arcs flashed, Blitzcrank's movements gradually slowed.
"See, Quinn? This is the right approach. You idiot, trying to melee a robot? What were you thinking? Sorry, little cat, we broke your robot. How about we fix it for you?"
Judge wasn't planning to take responsibility; he was just curious about Blitzcrank's internal structure and wanted to see its insides. But from Kate's eyes, Judge saw a look of pity.
"You'd better run now," Kate advised.
Kate had witnessed Blitzcrank's creation, knowing it would enter a brief rigidity phase after overdrive, slowing its movements. The current electrical arcs around Blitzcrank weren't due to Judge's attack but from its internal power core.
Judge's electric gun hadn't disabled Blitzcrank; instead, it activated its combat mode.
The next moment, Blitzcrank, appearing berserk, charged at the two with even faster speed, fists crackling with electricity.
"Judge, you idiot! Look what you've done!"
"You started this mess! Who are you to blame me?"
Under the noon sun, Blitzcrank chased and taught the two a lesson. Though Quinn eventually chose to apologize after some time, it seemed too late. Blitzcrank's goal had shifted from making them apologize to simply teaching them a lesson.
"Orlan, Blitzcrank is having an issue here. It's beating up two guys who came off a ship named MADS. Need Blitzcrank to stop?"
Kate called Orlan via a Den Den Mushi, describing the situation and asking what to do next. She didn't deem these two as serious villains but found their earlier condescending tone towards Orlan quite annoying.
Hence, she didn't interfere with Blitzcrank's actions. After all, Blitzcrank hadn't activated its extermination mode, so there was no danger to their lives.
"MADS? Looks like your subordinates. Anything you want to say?" Orlan didn't immediately answer Kate. Instead, he looked at the tall figure with a head as big as its body in front of him.
