Chapter 7- Emperor of my Empire...

I watched as the marines shifted uneasily under my watch, but some felt visibly safer after the defeat of Morgan, some even came up to apologize for standing in our way, I told them they weren't much of a blockade anyway. We waited for the call lazily, and though the marines of the 153rd branch were happy now, they could sense that I was dangerous, way beyond the usual; scum of the East Blue.

"Pero Pero Pero," I ignored the call, and looked around, Vigaro shot me a confused look and I smiled at him, "Garp is my grandfather, I can toy with him for a while!" 

At my words nearly eighty percent of the soldiers were shocked and some even fell to the ground in surprise, how could someone so pirate-minded be the grandson of the marine hero? They didn't have to know he isn't my biological grandfather, blood doesn't decide your family.  

"Pero Pero Pero!" I decided not to fuck around with Gramps too much and attended the call.

"Hey Old man, what's up?"

"Euce you stupid brat! I told you to stay and become a good marine-" 

"Oh shut up old man, you know I wouldn't have stayed!" 

"BASTAR D EUCE! STAND DOWN! this is fleet admiral Sengoku speaking, what do you even want?" 

"Oh nothing really, just wanted to make an entrance so you won't be able to say you were surprised when the entire Marine Corps got disbanded under the new rule, Sengoku, we are coming for you, we are coming for the head of the marine corps, mark the D in my name, it's the very same D, you and every other admiral will be crushed by!" 

"Look kid you don't know shi-" My grandfather interjected, "Sengoku wait, the kid knows all three forms of haki, Hey Euce what about your friend?" 

"Can't you feel his aura old man, or is your observation getting worse with age?" 

"Both of them have powerful Haki Sengoku, we will have to dispatch the strongest!"

"So that's your plan eh? well say goodbye to these 250 soldiers!" 

"GARP! Shut up" screamed Sengoku over the connection, Euce what do you want?" 

"Nothing, like I said, I wanted to scare you, because now is when the real show begins..."

I hung up the call and turned to look at the marines, "Look after this town and its people, this will from now on, be my patron island, when trouble comes, I'm only one call away, understood?" 

"Yes sir!" they shouted in unison. 

We looted the entire marine base and it was loaded, maps everywhere, and gold and treasure were abundant, we evaluated it to be around B300,000,000 in total. 

I smashed the gate open, walked out of the Marine Grounds, and walked down the hill again to the town, where I pulled out my sword and released a giant air slash to get the people's attention. I sprouted my black wings and flew into the air by a bit so that everyone could see. 

"People of Shells town, I have purged this town of Axe-Hand Morgan's tyranny!"

Murmurs and whispers coursed through the crowd, Vigaro and Koby who had just caught up waited on the ground on either side of me, "I ask you now for just one thing in return, for this to be the first isle under my empire, a fair one, a just one, where justice prevails properly, where blood is only spilled if that blood is of an oppressor, are you with me?" 

After a while of careful consideration an old man came forward, the town's main elder person, he strained to look up so I landed on the floor and listened to what he had to say, "What is your name my son?" he questioned.

"Bastar D Euce," 

"No my son, what is your true name?" 

"How do you know old man? Portgas D Deuce or I might as well tell you since you already know, Gol D Deuce." I whispered.

"Why do you hide your real name?" the old man queried.

"Because I despise him!" 

"I see potential in you young man, the same potential I saw in your father when he was young, you look too similar for me to miss, even at this age, and yes we accept your proposition, come join us for the banquet."

"We would Gramps, but the marine forces will be here soon, could you please advise the citizens to act like nothing happened, we must take our leave, if there is any problem, call me on this," I handed the old man the den den mushi.

"See you people of Shells Town." 

We walked to the docks in somewhat silence and I took the chance to look in the shop (system).

The rest of the stuff was insignificant and I was focused on the first one, it was priced low because of its risks, but if all goes well, we will get the pinnacle of our physical prowess, after that it would just be getting used to the power that's the problem. I bought three peak potions and waited until we went onto the ship to talk about it. I also bought a ship upgrade, when the others questioned it, I said the ship was a magical gift from a friend, and it grew at will. 

I rummaged about in my cabin, or at least acted like I did, and brought out the potion, handing it to Vigaro and Koby, "There are risks, but do you trust me?" 

"Aye Captain!" 

"Then let's drink, to the Emperor Pirates!" 

"Nice name Captain!" 

We drank and immediately recoiled at the disgusting after-taste. 

Our bodies were getting more muscular at a fast rate and when I did a bicep curl, the muscle popped up like a balloon. For Vogaro and I, our heights stayed the same, but Koby had grown to at least seven feet and was now lean, and muscular, and his pink hair was kept in a ponytail, the band appearing out of thin air.

I looked at the system... The Template completion percentage was 87% I was that close to Shanks' level...
