Marineford

Disbelief washed over Sengoku like an icy wave. The information he had just received was too outrageous to process.

"How... how is this possible?" he murmured under his breath, his voice barely a whisper. "Besides King... Why do I feel that person's presence...?"

Even though more than forty years had passed, the memory of that man's presence was etched into his soul. He couldn't be mistaken. That had to be the presence of the Ninja God of Wano: Hashirama.

"No... This is absolutely impossible," Sengoku stammered, battling the flood of emotions overwhelming him. "I witnessed his death myself... How could he have resurrected?".

A terrifying thought took hold of his mind. "Could it be... that he was responsible for Tokikake's death?" he wondered in a trembling voice.

The next moment, his body shuddered violently. He stood up, leaning on the desk with one hand, his face pale and lined with deep worry. Moments from the past he didn't want to remember flooded his mind.

Apparently, Kaido's words were true.

"Wait a minute..." he murmured under his breath, trying to organize his thoughts.

A few seconds later, still not believing what he felt, he asked urgently, "Besides King, is there another man in red armor?".

Catacombo, puzzled by Sengoku's abnormal state, nodded seriously. "We don't know this person, and there's no bounty on him, so he shouldn't pose any threat," he replied.

"He really is..." Sengoku began, but the words stuck in his throat. His mind couldn't process any more information. He collapsed into his chair, overwhelmed by the enormity of the situation.

He had truly resurrected.

Even though he didn't know what method Jhin had used, the threat hanging over Marineford was palpable.

"This is going to get ugly," Sengoku thought, aware of the gravity of the situation. Almost without hesitation, he jumped up and rushed out of his office.

Catacombo watched him leave, confused and unsure of what to do. Sengoku's reaction had been so visceral, so unexpected, that it had left him completely baffled.

At that moment, right in front of the imposing Marineford tower, two piercing sounds resonated in the air, like the whistle of a cold wind. Suddenly, two imposing figures materialized in the sky, suspended in the air as if defying gravity itself.

Hashirama, the Ninja God of Wano, floated in the air with serene grace.

King, with his black wings spread wide, floated behind Hashirama, observing the enormous fortress that stretched out before them. An inexplicable sigh escaped his lips. "As imposing as ever," he murmured. "Even if it is no longer the Marine Headquarters, it still emits majestic vibes."

Hashirama, with his black hair tousled by the wind and a piercing look in his eyes, also examined the imposing Marine Fortress. "Majestic?" he said indifferently. "Despite having destroyed Marineford in my time, it seems the Marines have rebuilt it more lavishly."

King, with an enigmatic smile on his face, couldn't help but feel a mixture of admiration and fear. Even the current Four Emperors wouldn't dare enter Marineford without a good reason. However, for Hashirama, this place seemed like a second home.

An uncomfortable silence took over them as they observed the fortress from above. The tension in the air was palpable, as if a storm was brewing.

"What will we do now?" King finally asked, breaking the silence.

Hashirama smiled slightly, a smile that radiated a mix of confidence and determination. "The time to play has arrived," he said firmly.

"Stop! What are your intentions?" shouted Drake, a Marine Lieutenant Commander, his voice resonating with fury and fear. "King, what gave you the courage to come alone to Marineford!?"

At that moment, the marines stationed in the mountains surrounding the tower aimed their rifles and cannons at Hashirama and King, who were floating in the air. The tension was palpable, the air crackled with the threat of an imminent battle.

"Ha ha..." Hashirama observed the scene with supreme indifference, taking a few steps in the air as he approached the Tower. His nonchalant attitude contrasted sharply with the hostility surrounding him.

"Open fire! Bring him down from the sky...!" Drake ordered firmly, unable to tolerate the insolence of this unknown man.

"No, don't do it!" Sengoku, who had just arrived on the scene, shouted with all his might, trying to stop the madness. However, his words came too late.

As soon as Drake's order resonated in the air, hundreds of Marine soldiers, from the mountains and the ground, opened fire on the man suspended in the air. A deluge of bullets and cannons aimed at Hashirama, a storm of metal and fire threatening to destroy him.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The roar of the weapons filled the air, accompanied by the clatter of bullets and cannons bouncing off an invisible barrier. To the amazement of countless Marine soldiers, Hashirama remained unscathed, protected by an impenetrable force. The bullets and cannons bounced off his body as if they were mere stones, unable to penetrate his skin.

"Sengoku... you saw it, you attacked first, right?" Hashirama turned his eyes to Sengoku, who was approaching, his face pale and eyes filled with horror. His voice was cold and indifferent, as if the battle was nothing more than a game to him.

"Now it's my turn to defend myself."

"NOOO! DON'T DO ANYTHING TO MARINEFORD!" Sengoku shouted, desperate to prevent the impending destruction.

"Well..." Hashirama crossed his arms, nodded his head, and said, "Then... I won't use any ninjutsu."

Phew! Hearing this, Sengoku exhaled a sigh of relief. If Hashirama didn't use ninjutsu, the destruction could be contained. Hope was reborn in his heart.

Too bad happiness doesn't last long.

Sengoku witnessed a scene he would never forget. Hashirama's eyes, once calm, turned a deep red, as if a burning fury ignited within him.

"But I'll try new tricks on you..." he said with a bloodthirsty smile.

And like an explosion of energy, ultra-powerful lasers shot from his eyes.

Fwoosh! Fwoosh!

The laser beams struck the Marineford Tower vertically, cutting through it from top to bottom like a sheet of paper. A deafening sound of destruction filled the air, followed by a sepulchral silence.

Before the astonished eyes of the onlookers, the imposing Marine Fortress, a symbol of power and justice, was split in two, as if it had been sliced by a giant knife. The city behind it also suffered the same fate, ending up split in two.

Witnessing an almost divine.
