Jigoku Ryū

'CAW' a crow crowed while flying around the bodies of two people the crow hadn't had anything to eat for day's after making a few more laps around the two he dove in intending to eat the taller one when all of a sudden it awoke gasping for air and coughing water out.

Drakon was disappointed he was alive, he was fully intended to kill himself with that fall. He looked to his left and spotted the girl who had jumped after him despite only knowing him for a few days, he tried to stand up even though his legs were in serve pain eventually he stood up and got closer to the girl he tried to reach his hand out to caress the girl's face but something was weighing his hand down.

He looked in his right hand and saw a sheathed katana, he didn't know how it got there he was almost certain he didn't grab it. Something told him to keep it that it belonged to him, he started inspecting the sheath it was a blend of red and black, the guard was a roaring black dragon and if you looked close enough you would see that thee dragon had red eyes 'How beautiful' Drakon thought while caressing the sheathed blade 'Thank you' said an ethereal voice in his head.

Drakon looked around for the source of the voice but there was no one on the beach expect him and an unconscious Sapphire "Who said that?" Drakon asked in curiosity "Where are you?" he said while looking at the ocean 'I'm the sword you idiot' the ethereal voice said again 'Also i'm in your head' the voice said while laughing beautifully.

Drakon looked down at the sword then held it up "What's your name?" he asked while sliding his hand up and down the sheath in admiration 'Jigoku Ryū' the voice said and the katana vibrated recognizing its name "I am Drakon".

Drakon then got up and did his best to pick up Sapphire and throw her over his left shoulder while holding his newly obtained katana in his right hand as he walked off intending on finding some sort of shelter.

After hours of walking on the beach he finally found shelter in form of a large cave, he walked to the cave hoping to get there and be able to put sapphire down his extremely malnourished body wasn't built for carrying another human round for house but he pushed through.

Drakon arrived to the entrance of the cave but a loud roar echoed through the cave and out come a large Lion like animal, it was purple with long fangs that looked like it could bite through and a large mane that could rival any other lion in the world. The lion growled at Drakon menacingly and pounced towards him 'I don't want to die' he thought while watching the lion inch closer to him with every second that passed 'Sorry sapphire' he thought while accepting his impending death.

Then a vibration was felt in his right hand and out shot his katana, it flew towards the animal with otherworldly speed A loud boom resounded throughout the cave as the katana impaled the animal to the cave wall. Drakon looked at this scene in utter shock, The animal writhed in pain trying to get the Katana out of it with his large paws but slowly bled out.

When the animal was no longer breathing the katana detached it'self from the animal's body and flew back into it's sheath which was still held in Drakon's hand 'I won't help you any longer' Ryū spoke 'You need to learn how to wield me' it said, Drakon was still in shock while looking at the now dead corpse of the purple lion 'What are you staring for? hurry up and skin the beast' the voice said powerfully "I don't know how" Drakon said embarrassingly while walking to a side of the cave and putting Sapphire down gently and leaning her on the wall.

'I will teach you' said Ryu gently as Drakon walked over to the corpse of the once intimidating animal 'Lets get started' the voice said as Drakon unsheathed it. Hours later there were piles of meat and animal hides on the cave and Drakon was completely was completely covered in blood.

"AHHH" a loud piercing scream resounded through the cave, Drakon jumped up and looked for the source of the scream then he spotted Sapphire standing up and looking at him in fear "MONSTER" she screamed while pointing her finger at him, Drakon laughed, for the first time since his mother died he had laughed a true and genuine laugh "I'm not a monster Saph" Drakon said gently while stepping towards Sapphire "Drakon?" she said in confusion as Drakon hugged her and rested his chin on her shoulder in content.

"You jumped after me, why?" he asked while closing his eyes enjoying the feeling his got when he was in her arms, Sapphire was in shock from the few days she spent with Drakon he never came of as the touchy type "I don't know" she said genuinely as she rubbed his back through his rags "Thank you" he said while falling asleep on her shoulder. "Drakon?" she called out after waiting a few seconds with no reply she laid him down in the same spot where she woke up.

Sapphire looked around the cave and saw the uncooked meat that Drakon had taken off the purple lion and got an idea then went outside and grabbed some rocks and pieces of wood and went back to the cave then put them down in the middle. Sapphire put the wood on top of each other and started rubbing the rocks together making little sparks, eventually she sparked up the wood causing it to catch on fire then she went and grabbed the meat from the animal that she thought that Drakon had killed and went to the beach and rinsed it off in the ocean took it back to the cave and put it on a stick and held it over a fire after the first piece of meat was done she got up and dragged Drakon near the fire and sat him beside her resting his head on her shoulder as she continued to cook the rest of the meat contently while thinking about how Drakon hugged her.
