Chapter 84: Emperor

Seeing Big Mom from so up close was intimidating, but not necessarily scary. So even though she looked at me like a hungry monster, I didn't have any reaction.

Everyone will one day die, the universe is so terrifyingly vast that no matter what my actions the most effective it would have is kicking a small speck of dust.

Maybe it was because of this that I didn't even flinch at the monstrous old hag. The most disastrous thing in this world was just how small humans were in the vastness of reality.

"Mahahamamama," she laughed and then muttered in a loud but at the same time hushed voice. "Life or death?"

"Do you have dementia, old hag?" I asked, cracking my neck as my body started swelling up and my size even surpassed Big Mom by now and the bones in my head became spiky, like horns and formed the shape of a boney crown.

This was my Emperor Form, something specially made to be able to keep up with the Yonko.

I swung my ax at her, she didn't bother to dodge and instead used Napoleon to block.

BOOOOOMMM!!!

Our clash resulted in the air around us crackling, Conqueror's Haki burst out of the both of us. But neither budged even a little back, our physical power was equal, our arms shook as we both gave it our all. Though she didn't say anything, her shocked expression said a thousand words. Big Mom most likely was used to only people like Kaido or Whitebeard being a challenge against her.

"Surprised?" I inquired, not really out of curiosity, just wanted to annoy her. "You probably haven't needed to dodge an attack for ages, wanna try doing the same thing with me?"

"Tch, annoying brats like you..." she moved back, ending our clash but I chased after her. Big Mom's face showed an unimaginable amount of anger as her face had morphed with her wrinkles making it seem like she was some kind of demon and she swung the sword down before I could reach her. "SHOULD JUST DIE!!"

The blast of power that came toward me, even in my normal Awakened form that would have ripped me apart. But now it was different. "XAHAHAHA!! Let's see who's stronger, old hag!"

At such a blank range, it would be hard to dodge the attack, but that didn't matter as I never intended to even try dodging.  Instead, I moved my ax sideways to get ready to collide our attacks.

BAAAAAAAAAAM!!!

A blast attack also was shot by me, unlike my usual self. That attack was filled with all the anger I feel at myself for the weakness I had felt during that time starving on that island. I hate myself for being so damn weak! That torture will never happen again!

*GROWL*

Though I was full from eating the mochi Katakuri had previously imprisoned me with, my stomach still growled in hunger. I saw that our attacks clashing showed that our power was around equal, though Big Mom had more experience using her attack, that was the only reason her's wasn't pushed back.

But unlike Big Mom, I wasn't surprised and just charged at her ready to rip her apart. She slashed at me when I got close.

My body moved strangely as bones dislocated and allowed me to dodge her attack even at such a close age, my spine would have normally been broken to tilt back so much at such a huge body.

As Big Mom had already made her attack, she was left open and my fangs sunk into her shoulder, piercing through as the taste of blood filled my mouth. At the same time, I used my ax to try and cut her throat open, but she blocked it with her hand.

CLANG!!

The sound of metal clashing rang out as my ax met her arm, but even then my ax's sharp edge dug into her skin, dragging blood.

*Bzzzzt*

The sound of electricity crackling rang out in my ears as Zeus' lightning rammed through my body. It tickled a little, but attacks like that would at best burn my fur in this form, even then, that was saying a lot, as my fur had become steel-like too.

"Get your filthy fangs me you mad dog!" Big Mom yelled as her fist landed on top of my head, her Armament Haki infused with Conquerors too. Though the attack cracked some of the crown bones a little, it didn't do a lot of damage. "Get off! Get off! Get off!"

Her fist slammed at the top of my head and even broke my crown, but I wasn't letting go without talking a chunk of her. It made me even more hungry and finally, I ripped off a chunk of her shoulder and jumped back.

*gulp*

I swallowed her flesh… but this hunger didn't end, the phenomenon had its logical explanation too, as my hunger in Emperor Form was unnatural. Simply put, the energy needed to keep up this form was enormous.

"Your Devil fruit has taken you over brat," Big Mom said, looking at her shoulder wound as blood came out like a waterfall. She then looked at me again. "Your demons have taken you over."

"That's where you are wrong," my words came out in a deep growl. "Most people fight their demons, but I make deals with mine."

She didn't say anything and used Promethpos to seal her wound by burning it to stop the bleeding. "I will kill you brat."

"Let's see if that happens, who knows, maybe I will devour you first," my smirk showed my blood-stained fangs. I tightened my hand that held my ax and Haki flowed into my weapon, and Big Mom looked surprised once more. "Hey now, don't underestimate me too much Big Mom, I might not be talented or have been born with a monstrously strong body… but I am a skilled Copycat. You hit me using Conqueror's Haki imbued with Armament, so…"

My weapon became infused with a crimson invisible aura around it before it settled down and became invisible. I smirked like a child who got a new toy, this was exciting, normally I wouldn't feel something like this excited even while fucking some hot woman. So I couldn't help myself and wanted to try this against Big Mom.

I kicked over hundreds of times in less than a second while mid-air, this combination of Geppo and Soru was something I had never used at such a high level. But by using Observation Haki, I could still feel my position in the world and where Big Mom was.

The Yonko wasn't slouchy either, and even though she couldn't move as fast as me, she still blocked my attack. Our attacks didn't even touch, her sword and my ax were inches apart. Yet the power behind was so enormous that waves so big were made that Big Mom's ship where her kids were in the distance was almost toppled over and Negan had to move up higher above the clouds.

"Battle maniac," Big Mom mumbled in annoyance. "What's up with that creepy smirk?"

Oh, I didn't even notice I was smiling.

"Sorry about that," I didn't want to say anything but it seemed like this form also made me more expressive toward my feelings. Though it isn't bad as it doesn't interfere with my Observation Haki.

But now I was in a time limit, I had to end this soon, keeping up Emperor Form for longer than minutes will starve my body of energy.
