Stranded at sea

On the beach there is a kid with white t-shirt lying in the sand. He has black hair with pale white skin.

"Ugh"

He groaned in pain and when he felt he was not lying on the bed he opened his eyes and he saw a clear blue sky.

'Where am i ?!'

In panic he got up and looked around when he realized he was on the beach, suddenly the pain stuck him in the head and he sat down while hugging his head.

"Ugh….. why i am sleeping in the beach and where is this"

When the pain increases, some unknown memories flashes in his mind.

'What happening here'

He questioned himself because of some unbelievable memory that kept flashed in his mind. 

"Ship he is being attacked by pirates and everyone is killed and he is the only one alive by jumping from the ship. but to have been replaced by me after his body reach the beach, what unlucky kid "

He muttered and calmed himself before searching for memories of this body.

'Look like i am in one piece world and this body i took is named David Blackwells he is only son off Patton Blackwells the merchant'

He gets up when he realizes where he is and he starts inspecting his body that has become smaller.

'There nothing i can use beside key tied to silver necklace i am wearing'

And while inspecting his body, he saw a wooden box in the sand just 3 meters from the sea wave 100 meters from where he was standing. He walked to the wooden box and started inspecting it.

'Look like this box can be open by key'

He removed the key in the necklace and put the key into the hole in the wooden box and started to turn the lock.

"Click"

When the box opened, what he saw inside was a strange shaped black fruit. 

"Devil fruit?!, what ability can I get if I eat this fruit?..... forget it, i need to check memory of this body first"

While closing the box with devil fruit inside he sat down on the sand and started thinking.

'This boy is 9 years old and only son of a merchant named Patton Blackwells, his ship attacked by pirates and sunk. What I don't understand is why I am holding a key for the box with devil fruit?'

He looks surprised because there is no key and the box he is holding is in memory of the boy when the ship sank.

"This is strange, I don't remember anything related to this devil fruit but my body feels weak... looks like I need to eat devil fruit first. there no memory of this body eating devil fruit so its safe maybe"

He took a deep breath before opening the box.

'I hope this devil fruit has good ability'

He opened the box then took devil fruit inside with his right hand and started eating it.

"Bleeach….. cough"

'Argh this is worst fruit i have eaten in my lives'

He started coughing because of how unpalatable devil fruit taste is.

'Wait! there something entering my body from devil fruit i have eaten and there information of how this devil fruit ability work entering my head'

After realizing something entered and changed his body, he sat cross legged then put his hand on his knee, he closed his eyes and started concentrating on change in his body.

"What amazing devil fruit…." 

After knowing the ability he got after eating devil fruit. He opened his eyes then started to take off his clothes, he crossed his legs and closed his eyes to concentrate.

'I hope its work'

The air around is being sucked toward his body and surroundings become dim, after a few minutes he opens his eyes.

'Ability to absorb molecules in the air by my skin and change it into energy that my body needs is too much even for a mythical zoan, where does this devil fruit come from? Its to overpower for someone that can use his brain and if people know this devil fruit ability, my life will be ruined for sure'

His pale white skin has become rosy after sucked air for a few minutes and his weak body has become normal so he stops what he is doing and closes his eyes.

'I need to test ability i have gained'

After deep thinking and checking the change in his body, he raised his right hand and opened his palm. 

"Swish"

In his palm a small black fire lit up and area near black fire dimed, he keep staring at black fire for few second  and surrounding air started to boil because heat from black fire.

"Hmm…. Look like temperature of this fire is so high that even with its size it can boil surrounding air and instead creating, black fire absorb light my eye can see and use all atom based material as his fuel"

Black fire in his palm started to change shape to square then change to round and split to five and start to move in cycle.

"Interesting…. I need to test how much i can control this black fire"

Five fireballs that moved circularly stopped moving, then five fireballs enlarged and they joined into one.

Looking at a fireball as big as his head in his palm, he then started to compress the fireball and The air being sucked so strongly that it created wind that moved sand and his hair. the surrounding area became dim and black fireball and his palm cant be seen anymore. After seeing how fire reacted to his control, he started thinking.

'Fire is reaction from certain material in certain temperatures mixed with oxygen at atomic level, its chemical product is heat, sound and light generated by an atom when it crashed into each other. But this flame is pitch black like sky at night time and it absorbs light. If from deeper principle of magnetism....agh'

He widened his eyes in realization and shut it when pain hit him in the head.

"DAMN IT! NOT ANYMORE!"

 He groaned in pain, his skin becoming pale white. Fireball in his palm become smaller before vanishing and drop unknown liquid to the sand. He hugs his head in pain, his body drenched in cold sweets when his brain is overheating because his new body memory and his own is mixed in his brain when processing his new found ability.

'I could know this would happen if i am not rushed to test my ability'

after few minute of torture, he lay his body on sand and breathing heavily.

"I hope i won't go bald after this accident"

After calming a bit he started concentrating and air was being sucked toward his body. After ten minutes his skin that has become pale white regained its color and suddenly his stomach rang And he frowned.

'Even though i regained my power to move but my stomach still need food to store nutrition i need'

He then raised his hand and summoned a small black flame on his finger.

"Look like i need more careful when handling this fire because it's still need energy to create and keep it controlable"

After inspecting black fire in his finger the black fire vanished.

"With this devil fruit power the chance I am dying is reduced to minimum but should i use this boy name or use my real name?"

With a confused look he started scratching his head.

"Well.…. let's use the boy's name first. His father is a rich man and as his only son i can have an easy life, but to think this boy tried to go to sea alone he is quite brave. fortunately his father send someone to protect him, but to be attacked by strong pirate in his first voyage is simply bad luck"

After slight confusion because how unlucky this boy is. He then sat and crossed his leg and muttered.

"Forget it. After i got this power maybe become one off sea emperor is not bad and from the memory i got, pirate king Gol D Roger has not been captured and great pirate era has not begin but before that"

He took a deep breath, looked at the sea and released a long sigh.

'I need to search for water and food first before experiment more with my new ability'

He then got up and started walking into the forest.
