Being a member of the Rocks Pirates' officers, Li Yuan knew that if others discovered he had children, it would become a vulnerability. This voyage was also a way to let them lay low, give birth, and then hide the children.
"Yes, I'll go with you," Shakky agreed. Although she was an intelligence officer for the Rocks Pirates, she wasn't the only one. Rocks couldn't possibly centralize all intelligence on one person.
Thanks to her connection with Li Yuan, Rocks didn't impose many restrictions on Shakky.
"Captain, I'm planning to leave for a while, possibly for half a year or longer."
After deciding to set sail, Li Yuan sought out Rocks the next day to explain his intention to venture out to sea.
"Oh? What makes you want to set sail now?" Rocks asked curiously. From what he knew, Li Yuan was a training fanatic. During the more than half-year with the Rocks Pirates, he spent most of his time training, which was quite unusual for a pirate.
Being a pirate, who would work so hard to train like an ascetic monk?
"I'm going out to seek an opportunity to break through to the level of a great swordmaster," Li Yuan explained. He didn't reveal his true purpose, but he wasn't lying either. The Seven Star Sword could indeed be his chance to become a great swordmaster.
"In that case, you should go. Just don't die out there," Rocks said with a squint, a reminder to Li Yuan.
The Navy and World Government, wanting to deal with the Rocks Pirates, would seize the chance to encircle Li Yuan with admirals if they learned he was sailing alone.
"Don't worry, I won't die so easily," Li Yuan replied confidently.
At night, Li Yuan, along with Kano, other disciples, Shakky, and Razili, left Beehive Island. Aside from Rocks, no one knew the officer Li Yuan had departed. Not even spies from other factions would notice until dawn, by which time Li Yuan would have vanished into the vast ocean.
"Li Yuan, how will we get to Asuka Island?" Razili asked curiously. Asuka Island was not in the New World but in the Four Seas. To travel from the New World to the Four Seas, they had to pass through Fishman Island and return to the Sabaody Archipelago.
However, the Sabaody Archipelago was near Navy Headquarters, a domain of the Navy and World Government. If they appeared there, they would be surrounded by admirals.
"We'll rely on Shakky," Li Yuan said with a smile at Shakky.
"I knew you'd ask me," Shakky smirked, taking out a Den Den Mushi with a snake-like pattern and dialing it.
"Shakky, you finally decided to contact me," a female voice said from the other side.
"I need a companion to take us through the Calm Belt," Shakky stated.
"No problem, I'll leave it in the usual spot. You're really not coming back?" the woman asked.
"No, I'm not going back," Shakky replied, then hung up the Den Den Mushi.
"Alright, we'll have a companion to take us through the Calm Belt into the Four Seas. However, at that time, you'll need to intimidate the Sea Kings to prevent any attacks," Shakky explained to Li Yuan.
Before joining the Rocks Pirates, Shakky was the vice-captain of the Kuja Pirates. She had told Li Yuan about this, so he thought of using her past connections.
They would have a giant serpent from Amazon Lily tow their ship through the Calm Belt directly to the Four Seas.
The Calm Belt was a natural barrier between the New World and the Four Seas. Without wind, sails were useless, making travel impossible.
Most people believed the Calm Belt was unnavigable, serving as a natural shield between the Four Seas and the New World.
"No problem, the Sea Kings will bow before me," Li Yuan said confidently.
The Calm Belt was home to many Sea Kings, but they posed no threat to Li Yuan. His Conqueror's Haki would ensure no Sea King dared challenge him.
"Just so happens, let's make a stop at the 'Nation of Endless War' to find someone," Li Yuan said, recalling a person as he looked at the map.
"Who?" Razili asked curiously. She was always by Li Yuan's side, and she was curious about someone worth delaying the search for the Seven Star Sword.
"A crew member, a very promising one," Li Yuan replied with a slight smile.
Planning to form his own pirate crew, Li Yuan needed capable subordinates. Famous pirates wouldn't submit to him, nor could he trust them.
Thus, he needed to train his own crew. The Four Emperors' deputies and subordinates in the original work mostly rose through their ranks.
Li Yuan's future crew included Kano and Kalu, but their potential was limited. They wouldn't achieve greatness, nor would they be mediocre.
Simply put, they would be above average but not outstanding.
Douglas Bullet was Li Yuan's target this time. Undoubtedly, Bullet had immense potential worth cultivating.
After sailing for several days from Beehive Island, Li Yuan finally reached the "Nation of Endless War."
This nation was constantly embroiled in war, its name long forgotten. People only remembered it as the "Nation of Endless War."
Upon sighting Li Yuan's pirate ship, the kingdom's coastal guards immediately noticed the Rocks Pirates' flag.
"The Rocks Pirates' officer, Swordmaster Li Yuan!!"
"Hurry, inform Captain Douglas and let him notify the general!!"
The soldier holding the telescope saw Li Yuan standing at the bow, breaking out in a cold sweat, and stammered to his companion.
"What? Swordmaster Li Yuan, why would such a figure come here? Is he here to plunder our kingdom?"
Captain Douglas, hearing of Li Yuan's arrival, turned pale and rushed to find his superiors.
In a matter of minutes, General Abou Clayton gathered a large army at the port, nervously watching the approaching pirate ship.
