Chapter – 30 The Unconscious Woman

Somewhere on the Grandline

Buru Buru… Kachak!

"Hmm, Betty-chan?" grumbled a large man, his head oddly disproportionate with an indigo afro and long eyelashes.

His chin looked like an arrowhead, and a Jolly Roger tattoo adorned just below his chest. Clad in a reddish-purple woman's leotard with a high collar and a deep V-neck down to his belly, matching gloves, boots, a pearl necklace, and a net cape on his back with net leggings. He also wore heavy but tasteful makeup. This eccentric figure was none other than the King/Queen of the Kamabakka Kingdom and the Grandline Army Commander of the Revolutionary Army, Emporio Ivankov. He answered the call on the transponder snail, speaking loudly, "Ve-ha! Betty-chan, how's the situation?"

"Moshi-moshi... Is this... Iva-sama?" asked the voice on the other side of the transponder snail.

The voice on the other end wasn't Betty's. "Vyes, who are vyou? Vyou are speaking vyia Betty-Chan's transponder snail, is something the matter, vhere is Betty-chan?" Ivankov inquired, a frown etched on his face.

"Iva-sama, a problem occurred last night, and currently, we don't know where Betty-sama is," replied the person on the other side of the transponder snail, his tone tinged with sadness.

"Vhat happened?" Ivankov asked, his expression turning serious as he stood up. The others in the room also gazed at Ivankov with furrowed brows.

The person on the other end of the transponder snail began explaining the situation, "We were returning back to the base, and then suddenly we were attacked, it was a Flying Sword Slash… we couldn't see the person who created that slash, but it was hundreds of meters in diameter and slashed our ship in two halves as it traveled further. Although none of us died because of the slash since the ship was destroyed, we had to escape using small boats… But then there was a sea storm, and most of us were washed away in different directions… Betty-sama tried to make sure that we survived, but it was terrible… I don't even know where I am at this point. Luckily, I had this transponder snail with me… but… the others, Betty-sama… everyone… they… they!" By the end, tears started to flow down his eyes, visible to Ivankov through the transponder snail.

A solemn silence fell upon Ivankov's face. He glanced at the middle-aged man standing beside him and spoke, "Dragon, could this be… something similar to vyhat happened eighteen months ago?"

Eighteen months prior, one of the Celestial Dragons had taken a liking to the former East Army Commander of the Revolutionary Army. As a result, most of her squad was annihilated, and she was captured by them to become the 'wife' of the said Celestial Dragon. To this day, the Revolutionary Army hadn't been able to rescue her, and now, faced with this situation, the newly appointed leader of the East Army Commander was missing. Though the person on the other end of the transponder snail didn't know who the attacker was, the possibility could not be denied.

"Immediately, call Ahiru and instruct her to send a rescue team and let them search for all the people that were on the ship. Follow the route the ship was taking and go through all the nearby islands one by one..." instructed the middle-aged man. He was wearing a dark green hooded cloak, with spiky black long hair and a strange bright red tattoo on the left side of his face. He is none other than the Supreme Commander of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon!

"It… will take too long," said the third man. He had arrived beside the two of them a while ago, and looking at Ivankov and Dragon, he added, "I will go… with my powers, it will be easy to go from one island to another fast and ensure everyone's safety!"

"Kuma… but vyou have just returned from the North Blue, now if you were to go again…" said Ivankov.

"It doesn't matter, this is the fastest method," Kuma interrupted, turning to Dragon and awaiting his reply.

Dragon thought for a moment, then agreed, "Be vigilant; we don't know the person who was responsible for the attack, therefore, you must be extremely careful."

Kuma nodded lightly, "Hmm," then he confirmed the route Betty's Ship was following and the ocean area where their ship was attacked and disappeared.

After Kumo was gone, Dragon scrutinized the route the ship was following, as well as the area of the attack, and couldn't help but frown. 'This part of the sea… Shimotsuki Village is also not too far from here, and based on the information, the attack seems to have come from this direction. Could it have been Koushirou…? He is certainly more than capable of this feat… No, but why would he? It doesn't make sense… this is strange…!'

Shimotsuki Village, East Blue

"Huh, what is that?" muttered Kuina as she gazed at the horizon. They were currently engaged in their regular 'Sword testing,' aiming to identify any issues in the swords crafted by Ryuma so that improvements could be made in the next iteration.

As the two took a break, Kuina suddenly noticed something slowly drifting toward the island. She walked closer to the cliff, and upon taking a closer look, she spoke with a doubtful expression, "Aniki, is that… a person on that raft?"

Ryuma followed Kuina's gaze and observed a small raft drifting closer to the island. Taking a closer look, he noticed a person lying on the raft. Using his Observation Haki, he sensed that the person was unconscious and remarked, "Yes, there seems to be a person lying unconscious on that raft."

Kuina suddenly exclaimed, "Aniki, we need to save that person!"

Ryuma hesitated. It's not that he didn't want to save the person; it's just that such an action could be dangerous. What if the other person is a powerful and cruel pirate or someone else who might bring trouble with them? This possibility couldn't be excluded. 'But… then again, I can't allow someone to die out there just because they 'might' pose a danger.'

Ryuma knew that what he was about to do might have repercussions if the other person turned out to be someone dangerous. Yet, he couldn't ignore a helpless person now that he had noticed them. If he hadn't noticed the person, Ryuma might not have cared as much, but with the person in need appearing before him, he couldn't ignore it. His morals didn't allow such a thing. As for whether that person might bring trouble with them, that's something he would deal with when the time comes.

Moreover, if he were to back away just because of a certain 'possibility,' then what good is he? And how far will he reach in the future? Therefore, he is going to save the person.

With that decided, Ryuma nodded lightly, "Yes." He put down his Odachi on the ground and removed his t-shirt, saying, "Kuina-chan, you wait here. I will check on that person. Rio, follow me!"

"Got it," nodded Kuina.

"Understood bud!" Rio agreed, spreading his wings and flying toward the raft. Ryuma also took a long run-up and dived down from the cliff into the ocean, swimming toward the raft at an incredible speed.

It is said that the Merfolk and Mermaid are the fastest swimmers in this world, and Ryuma, being half Merfolk, is certainly not behind a Merfolk or a Mermaid despite not having a tail. Since he can also increase his speed using the power of Moa Moa no Mi, that definitely makes him the fastest swimmer in the world; no one can match him. In the blink of an eye, Ryuma covered the distance and arrived beside the raft. He got on top of it and helped the person properly lay on it. Before he got on the raft, the person was half submerged in the water.

As he helped the person, Ryuma realized that the person was a woman. It wasn't that obvious from the cliff since the distance was more than a kilometer, but now that he is on the raft, it's clear that the person is a young woman. As Ryuma flipped the woman to check if she had any injuries, he noticed something. His face turned red in embarrassment, and a few drops of blood dripped down his nostrils.

The unconscious woman was exceptionally beautiful, tall, slim, with fair skin and long purple hair. She wore black-framed sunglasses with cracked red lenses and tiny white spots at the bottom. Her red lipstick clung to her lips and appeared to have smudged, likely due to exposure to water. As for her clothes, she had a pink-outlined cropped red jacket that wasn't buttoned up, along with a matching red tie underneath. On her lower body, she wore red and white striped stockings under her red thigh-high boots, and finally, a frilly red skirt that was short in the front and long in the back.

Despite her disheveled state, she was a perfect definition of beauty; however, that's not the issue, and it is certainly not enough to make Ryuma blush or have a nosebleed.

The problem lies in the woman's choice of clothing – she wasn't wearing any underwear! Neither on top nor at the bottom! Why does Ryuma know this? It's because when he flipped her, the springy bounciness with pink protrusions appeared before him, and everything between her thighs also became visible because the frilly skirt she was wearing barely covered anything in the front. To top it off, it was soaked in water and became see-through, giving him a perfect view of what was underneath!

Of course, the fact that she wasn't wearing any underwear wasn't such a surprise since women on seas more generally don't wear it at all. Ryuma doesn't know the exact reason why women don't wear underwear in this world, but the fact of the matter is that they don't. Especially, the farther you travel into the Grandline, the higher the percentage of women who don't wear their underwear.

Therefore, when he noticed that the woman wasn't wearing her underwear, he wasn't that surprised, but that was still not the biggest problem, the major issue was that she wasn't even wearing a shirt or anything else underneath her red jacket except for her tie to cover up her assets, and even her red jacket was unbuttoned, giving him a clear view of everything!

Looking at the physical manifestation of dreams of a lot of men, all kinds of pervy thoughts came to his mind. In response to these thoughts, his little brother, who had been sleeping in his pants like a good boy for the past six years, suddenly became energetic. It seemed to be getting ready for a fight—a different kind of fight from your regular run-of-the-mill fights in this world.

And no one can blame his little brother. The older brother, Ryuma, died at the age of twenty-two as a single virgin. Except for those restricted videos in which men and women like to wrestle, those pervy manga called Doujin, and pervy anime that is better known as Hentai among the weebs and NEETS, Ryuma never once had the opportunity to see the real thing in his previous life. Therefore, such a sight was too much, and he wasn't prepared for it at all!

Just when Ryuma started to cook up a lot of pervy fantasies in his mind, suddenly, Rio's voice sounded from his side, "Bud, how is she? Is she alive?"

Rio's voice broke Ryuma's train of pervy thoughts. He slapped his cheeks to push them to the back of his mind, thinking, 'Calm down… now is not the right time to think about those things… first, I got to save her.' Then he took a few deep breaths, Haah Haah to put his little brother back to sleep for now, and focused on saving the unconscious woman.

While making sure not to stare at the heaven in front of him, Ryuma picked up the woman in a bridal carry and then jumped on Rio's back. Earlier, he had increased the size of Rio's body, so there was no problem for the parrot to carry two people. With Rio's help, Ryuma, along with the unconscious woman, returned to Kuina's side and put her down on the ground. "She is alive but unconscious; try to wake her up. Also, check if there are any injuries on her body."

Kuina nodded seriously, "Got it Aniki," then she got on her knees and examined the woman for any sign of injuries. Of course, Kuina noticed the scanty clothes the woman was wearing and was surprised, 'Do adult women outside wear such revealing clothes?' Being a girl raised in a conservative household, Kuina never wore such clothes, nor did she ever expect women from other places to wear them either. Let alone a shirt underneath her cropped jacket, the unconscious woman wasn't even wearing any brassière or panties, as a result, everything about her was clearly visible!

'Clearly visible?' Suddenly realizing the implication, Kuina raised her head and looked up at Ryuma, only to find that he was staring at the woman. Noticing this, Kuina exclaimed as she covered the woman's breasts, "Aniki, you are not supposed to see this!"

Ryuma did not pay attention to Kuina's words and continued to stare at the woman. It's just that instead of her body, he was looking at her face and muttered, "I feel like I have seen her somewhere!"

At the same time, the woman stirred awake. She fluttered her eyes and noticed the bright sky above along with two pairs of eyes curiously staring at her. Unable to understand her situation, she couldn't help but mutter doubtfully, "Where am I?"
