Ch- 6 Three Swords Style V/S Swallow Reversal

After their conversation, Zoro realized that the person in front of him, Tashigi, was not his long-deceased friend, Kuina. Tashigi simply bore a striking resemblance to Kuina.

Observing Zoro's slightly melancholic expression, Li Fan patted his shoulder to offer comfort.

As casting resumed, the actors who had temporarily left regrouped. While some actors had departed upon hearing that the filming would take place in Loguetown, many remained due to the substantial compensation.

After a series of auditions, Li Fan successfully selected the actors he needed, primarily the main cast. The plan was to select extras in Loguetown

At Smoker's urging, everyone boarded the warship and set course for Loguetown.

During the voyage, after Li Fan had sent the script and corresponding character profiles to each actor, he walked to the bow of the ship and enjoyed the slightly salty sea breeze.

"The Fifth Holy Grail War, Hercules, Berserker..." Smoker mumbled as he looked at the script in his hand. "I wonder if I made the right choice taking on this job."

"I hope it won't become too troublesome."

Smoker glanced around. All the principal actors were gathered, engaging in discussions about the plot and how to perform their roles effectively.

Even his subordinate, Tashigi, was actively participating in the conversation.

Smoker shook his head and observed Zoro, who was nearby, furrowing his brow while studying his script.

"A pirate hunter? And he's been invited to act?" Smoker thought. "However, as a Marine, I've joined this endeavor, so perhaps I don't have the right to criticize others."

After a brief moment of contemplation, Smoker approached Li Fan.

Almost at the same time, Zoro turned around and made his way toward Li Fan.

Hearing the footsteps behind him, Li Fan turned his head.

Li Fan turned to them, inquiring, "I asked, what's going on?"

"Li Fan, is it genuinely possible to perform Sasaki Kojirou's sword skill, [Swallow Reversal]?" Zoro handed Li Fan the character description for Sasaki Kojirou that Li Fan had previously provided.

"You mentioned this," Li Fan nodded, "It can indeed be achieved."

"Then... can you do it?" Zoro asked with a serious expression.

Smoker interjected, "It's simply a character description in the script. How could it be possible..."

"In this case, I do know how to do it," Li Fan nodded.

'Although it will only be temporary,' Li Fan thought to himself.

"What, you know?" Smoker asked, his eyes slightly widened in surprise.

"There's nothing particularly surprising about this," Li Fan remarked, casually shrugging. "Art draws inspiration from life, so don't underestimate my script."

"Do you mean to say that everything in the script was inspired by real life?" Smoker inquired, his brow furrowing.

"Who's to say? But it's possible that the story described in this script has been enacted somewhere," Li Fan replied mysteriously.

"Huh? Isn't this the script you wrote?"

Li Fan responded with a slight smile, choosing not to answer Smoker's question. Instead, he turned his gaze toward Zoro.

"Zoro, do you have any other inquiries?" he inquired.

"Li Fan, can you demonstrate the 'Swallow Reversal' move?" Zoro asked, his eyes fixed on Li Fan.

Li Fan ran his hand through his hair.

"I'll let you take a look. I want to give you a demonstration so that you can perform this part well," Li Fan offered

A faint blue light shimmered in Li Fan's hand, and the long knife known as [monohoshizao] appeared in his hand.

"Ha, in this case, there's nothing like facing the sword moves head-on to understand them better," Zoro chuckled, drawing all three of his swords.

"Sasaki Kojirou's [Swallow Reversal] can cut with three swords simultaneously. It's a slashing sword technique."

"In that case, I'll use my three-swords style to counter it."

"Although I don't want to hit you, [Swallow Reversal] is not as simple as swinging three slashes at the same time"

Li Fan said with a slight smile as he retracted his right foot. Simultaneously, he extended the knife towards Zoro with both hands.

*Buzz—*

The moment Li Fan assumed his stance, a chilling breeze surged forth from him, heading straight toward Zoro.

"Um? Such potent sword energy. Is Li Fan serious?" Smoker frowned, and after brief hesitation, he stepped back a few paces.

While not a swordsman, Smoker understood he couldn't intervene in this duel between two skilled swordsmen.

He clenched his right hand and realized he had involuntarily tightened his weapon's handle.

"That Li Fan, just by releasing his sword energy, made me unconsciously grasp my weapon," Smoker observed in surprise.
